Fox is very detail oriented and communication based which I love. Their years of expertise can be seen every time i leave their chair. Also this salon has THE best chairs for when you have your hair washed- no terrible neck straining. Love this salon and love getting my hair cut by Fox.

I came down from Olympia area to Portland to have fox cut my hair into a shag mullet—it was SO worth it! I’m absolutely obsessed with my hair. She’s the kindest human!! The whole experience was amazing, and my hair has never looked better🥺, 10/10 highly recommend booking with her—you won’t regret it!

Fox is a true hair artist and continues to give me the best cut I’ve ever had, time and time again. Her cuts not only make me look like my best self, they also make me feel more comfortable in my own skin. I have a loose curl structure that I thought only showed when I grew my hair long, but I like a short cut and Fox’s intuitive approach coaxes the curl out! Because short hair transmutes so quickly, I also love the option for a half haircut to keep it looking fresh. Fox is warm and kind to boot! I’m so grateful to have found her!

Fox is an absolute icon. Not only is she extremely talented in all of her work I see, but she does absolute werk on my curly hair cuts. It's hard enough to find a curly stylist, yet alone somebody who listens to precisely what you want, but Fox truly does it all. Every time I go for a cut, it just gets better and better as she learns more about you, your style, and becomes more familiar with your hair. She is an open and safe chair to all, and anybody who sits in it truly is lucky to be there! Cannot say more good things about her, and honestly, can't wait for my next cut.

Fox is the best hairstylist i’ve ever had. She takes her time to understand the way your hair works, especially if it is curly. Every time she cuts my hair it looks amazing and exactly the way i wanted it. She is also the kindest, most accommodating person and makes me feel so comfortable. I highly highly recommend booking a session with Fox at Kulture studio. It is soooo worth it!

I LOVE my haircut from Fox! I have been going through some big challenges and she was so attentive and nurturing. Having curly hair I have had some horrible haircuts in the past and am very cautious with who I will let cut my hair. I hadn't been to a salon in about 6 years because I was growing out my hair and just trimmed my own ends. She did a huge chop for me. I went from having hair to my butt to a pixie cut. She took the time to show me how to style it and take care of my hair. I look forward to seeing her again for haircuts in the future. I am so grateful I found her!

I recently had an appointment with Fox to transform my hair into a mullet I’ve been wanting for a while and this was seriously the best experience I’ve ever had getting my hair done. She was so professional and such a kind person to me through the entire appointment. The whole process was thorough and it felt like such a transformation from start to finish. I feel like I finally found the hair artist to keep coming back to. The environment was so welcoming and friendly. The studio was also absolutely beautiful! Thank you again!

Fox was awesome!! Always a bit scary to find a new stylist but she nailed it! I showed her reference pictures and she immediately got it and fully explained what she would do. lgbt+ friendly & very thorough consultation which I super appreciate!

I simply trust no one else with my hair! Okay, I can go on and on about the high quality service, knowledge, and experience that Fox brings to the table. From copper to platinum blonde to curls to growing out for length, Fox has helped me for years and I've been satisfied in EVERY way. HOWEVER, I would be remiss not to mention how refreshing it is to be in a space that strives towards inclusivity and embodies that if every way—from being unabashedly LGBTQ welcoming to seating that actually accommodates larger bodies, it is by the far the most comfortable environment I've ever been in for a beauty or self care service.

Fox provided the best haircut and styling I have ever received. I scheduled the first time curly haircut with her to better understand my hair’s texture and how to maintain my loose wave pattern. As someone with a lot of hair cutting anxiety, I felt welcomed immediately when first walking in the door. Sitting in her chair was comfortable from start to finish. She was wonderful to converse with and had me laughing throughout our session. Fox did a thorough job explaining her game plan and goals for my hair. She knew how to add layers and lift to my hair without losing length. I walked away from her studio with my curls retaining their life, volume, and texture (without crunch) more than I have ever been able to achieve on my own. The longevity of the styling she created was impressive. Getting information on how to treat curls varies widely online — hours of research doesn’t pale in comparison to having Fox’s personalized recommendations on the spot. I am so excited to implement Fox’s techniques and products in my daily life. Would highly recommend the whole experience. Fox adds a creative flair to everything she does, with an inclusive and warm nature to boot. Will come back again, 100%!

I really enjoy Fox as a person, but they are also really good at cutting hair. They really want to give an individualized experience. Fox takes their time to get to know you, your needs, and then your hair. In addition to this, everyone who works at the studio takes excellent precautions for COVID. Love!

WOW WOW WOW!! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Foximus! She curates such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and really goes above and beyond with her services. She excels at cutting all hair types- mine is THICCC, wavy/curly and the bane of most hairstylist’s existence. Not fox, though! She gave me a stellar and unique cut designed specifically for my face shape and hair texture. Not to mention the color! Stunning and holding well. Fox will be my hair stylist for life :) I’ve gotten a curly cut from her, color consult, and all over color. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and talented. I’m a difficult case (allergic to hair dye) and she did extensive research to find me a product that would fit my needs. I have had a complicated relationship with my curly hair all my life, and I had never visited a stylist who specialized in curls until I met Fox - lemme tell you, it is a game changer! Fox took photos of my before-hair from all angles and walked me through the cut she was imagining visually, showing me the photos and "mapping" the cut. She's got such an eye for shape and balance and makes the visioning process so easily understood. I ended up with a truly professional cut, amazing and hydrating bright copper color, and she even tinted my eyebrows to match. Additionally, she's just a super cool, supportive, enthusiastic human, great communicator, and she gives off this energy of seeing beauty in everyone and wanting you to see it too. Covid safe, lovely community-centered politics. Fox is the best!

My experience with Fox was absolutely lovely! As someone with curly hair I have experienced more bad haircuts and bad color work than I’d like to remember, leaving me with damaged hair AND stylist trust issues. I was nervous when I came in for my appointment but also ready for a change. Fox is the first and only stylist to have ever done a dry cut on my hair. She took her time to make sure that she was doing the best possible cut with my hair type and texture and that I was comfortable during the whole process. She also took the time to teach me how to style my new look and gave me a thorough recommendation on different products. Fox is a genuine and sweet human and VERY talented at her craft. She restored my confidence that my hair isn’t difficult or impossible and I left the salon feeling like a much more improved version of myself! ☺️
