I went here to get boho knotless braids. Not even 3 days later my braids were unraveling. I had to go back for them to fix it and they said they wouldn’t unravel anymore. They are still unraveling and I haven’t even had the style for two weeks. I spent almost $200 just for the hairstyle not to last. Will never go back and I advise others to steer clear.

The pros: they braid well The cons: they give you a price and tell you to come, then once you get there the price change. Next, you’re sitting and waiting and they tell you that they need to go get some hair( another 15 min wait) and finally they take so many breaks doing your hair that for simple length box braids(5 hours). So it’s a no for me not to return.

Don’t waste your time or money. I called and asked the price for small knotless braids, was given a price of $170. When i got there she explained the length and price starts out at $170, and if i want it long it would be $190. I agreed to the $170 length. When she got done she told me $190 smh. But my braids are the $170 length, they stop braiding at that length but the hair itself looks long because I’m short. I got there at 9:30 the person who was supposed to do it “Kadi” didn’t come until 10:00, didn’t start right away and kept stopping to watch videos . The top of my hair looks french braided vs singles. Fatima braided most of my back and it feels sloppy. I mean I’ve never had this many issues with African hair braiding salons. A girl came in after me and had longer hair than me for box braids, they charged her $190 and her braids were past her butt. The lady that was doing it was supposed to charge her $220, so that made me feel like the reason they charged me more is because of them mistakenly charging her less. She also was done before me. I didn’t leave until 4:00pm

Well, I have been going there for 2.5 years. They raised the price by $20 after doing my hair..not before but after (from $60 to 80). I went two more times, paying $80.. mind you, 1/4 of my head is shaved... So it's not a full head.. I will add my experiences were tolerable, not excellent service. Now today was the final straw.. I latched the back of my hair and did not feel like doing the rest, so I went to the shop. I was told $30. The owner came in and did not like the price and said 60. I said I was told 30, but I am willing to pay 40. She got very smart with me.. She had a major attitude. I paid the 30 and offered to cash app the other 10 and she said not to. The owners attitude is mean and rude. I left so disappointed.

I literally asked for jumbo braids and they didn’t give me them I even showed them a picture and it still looked fine until a younger lady started doing my hair instead of the older one and it looked much worse and it was much tighter this is all a scam don’t ever go here

My first time getting my hair braided at Friendly and yes it was a wonderful experience, the ladies were very kind, I showed them the style I wanted and they gave me that and more. I absolutely love my hair❤️

Went in august just for 4 Braids (Nipseys). Only because my main braider canceled and I had to go out of town in a few hours. When whoever she was started to braid (without blow drying first) she combed and parted my hair so rough that she broke my hair off and gave me a short patch in the middle. End result the parts were all crooked and costs like 70 dollars. $70 for 4 natural shoulder length men’s braids costs $70? Run!

*** IT FORCED ME TO LEAVE 1 STAR JUST TO POST THE REVIEW I REALLY AM GIVING IT ZERO STARS* I called the shop prior to going to see if they did micro braids; I was advised that they do so I went in. Once I got there she told me that my hair was too long for micros. I selected twist instead, this was done on 12/26/2020. On 12/28/2020 I contacted her due to 3 of my braids coming down in the back. She had me come in and she redid those braids. I went to Miami on 01/04/2021 first day lost 2 more braids. I am sitting here with 7 braids on my desk. This is poor braiding. I paid $160 plus a $40.00 tip. I regret going to them and I will never recommend them. Not even a month in my hair and I am paying someone else to redo it. Money wasted

I got my hair braided over here and it was a nice environment. As an African it was hard to communicate and make people understand what I wanted but because they really understood and even got a translator who can help me be more at ease. Definitely coming aback again. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

My children and i been coming here for years...we are very appreciated....i get in and out...yes they may have kids some days but so do i and they didnt bother me...i have to take my kids to my work and its a blessing to be able to too...so i do say check it out all my braids have been wonderful....

This place is run down and nasty they make up prices on the fly they are extremely unprofessional they will leave you waiting for hours even if you have an appointment they do not even do a good job they will cut your hair without asking if you want you hair done right and done on time for a good price go somewhere else
