Stacy did an amazing job! She listened and was a very friendly lady. Not to mention that she cut my hair wonderfully. Out of all the hair salons I have been to, this has been the only place where I have gotten the most accurate requests and best results. I am looking forward to my next visit!

Amazing hairstylists!! Great atmosphere. Mel did my hair and I'll never go anywhere else. I've had horrible experiences with other stylists.. I have type 3a/3b fine curly hair. I had two sessions from dark brown to blonde highlights in a slow/careful process. My curls are still popping, hair still feels soft and color is the exactly what I wanted. Great place!

For years I’ve been searching for a great place to cut my curly hair and I finally found it at Fringe. Ashley and staff are so good at what they do. I’m always pleased with the results. The atmosphere of the salon, and the products they sell are top notch. Did I mention they have community events too? Fringe is a great place that I would highly recommend!!!

I LOVE Fringe! I have never found a place quite like this. Mel always does an amazing job on my hair and I always leave with a fresh style and added confidence. Mel is talented and personable. I absolutely love this salon. The vibe of it is so unique! Stacy is my stylist and she does a fantastic job every single appointment. I really enjoying coming here. The shop in the front of the store is so cute. I leave happy every single time!!

I enjoy the Fringe studio’s atmosphere, the location is convenient, and my stylist Shannon is awesome. Creating a great bob shape requires a bit of precision, and it always looks fabulous. Plus, she is a wonderful person to talk with, so my appointment time seems to just fly by.

I've tried SO many curl specialists around town and wasted more money than I want to think about but my search is over! Mel is AMAZING! After every appointment I just love my hair :) Also, I'm not sure what magic products Ashley uses but somehow after getting my hair colored my hair was in better condition than before! I was a bit skeptical that the natural products would actually work well but they were great, there was no smell while the products were on my hair and afterwards my hair looked amazing. These ladies are miracle workers with hair and truly wonderful people too!

I have been seeing Mel Reed for almost two years now, and she has quite literally transformed my hair. During our first appointment, she really took the time to study my hair and taught me easy-to-replicate styling techniques that have made my hair look better than it ever has. She has the eye to create the absolute most flattering cut for your face, and she is an absolute wizard with color. Mel is a curl goddess who has taught me how to get the most from my curly & wavy texture. I feel at home and comfortable in her chair whether I'm feeling chatty that day or more pensive. Before I sat in Ashley's chair I had never been to a stylist more than a few times. After I first sat in her chair 2016 I knew I wasn't going to be looking for another stylist unless either of us geographically relocates. I felt so comfortable with her right away, which is rare for me since I am introverted and had socially anxiety that was more acute at that time. Honestly, the frequent compliments on my cut and color are just a bonus to me and a testament to her talent!!

I had really high hopes for this salon from seeing all the amazing reviews online. Sadly, I did not have a shared experience with everyone else. My stylist was sick so I decided to go ahead and go with another because I really wanted it done since I haven't had a big change in awhile & I was excited for something new. Long story short, I had Ashley as my stylist. Right off the bat she told me what I wanted wasn't possible and I get it, my hair has a lot of color history from all the years I've been dying it. But, she was trying to get me to completely scrap everything I wanted cut & style wise. Ashley made it seem like if we cut off basically half of my hair we would be able to do the color I wanted so I comprised thinking I was going to leave happy. I was mistaken lol. Charged me $91 to cut off maybe 3 inches of my hair and added a few layers...could done it myself with kitchen scissors and been better off. Me and mine went home & she did it for me. She did amazing. That was my first time and my LAST going to a salon! Overpriced and you don't even walk out with what you want. Wouldn't recommend, save yourself the stress and wasted time!!!

Stacey is absolutely amazing! I walked out from my cut, shampoo, and color feeling I had left every stress and walking out in a brand new skin! The place itself is inclusive, progressive, calm, and is super special! Finally got a blow out I didn’t pull back in an hour😂. She is a HEALER and talented to boot!

Wow! Stacy at Fringe is literally a hair goddess. I first went to see her when she lived in Charlotte and now my mom and I both drive to Greenville every time we want our hair done. That's how amazing she is! I have super thick hair and have had SO MANY disappointing haircuts but that all changed the day I met Stacy. She understands hair on a whole different level and I LOVE the fact that I don't have to worry about the outcome anymore ever at all!! I trust this woman implicitly!! Whether you need a cut or color, she smashes it out of the park every time! Obsessed doesn't begin to cover it. Thank you Stacy I freakin love you!!!

Went in for a consultation and I can already tell this place is AMAZING. I was able to quickly and easily set up and appointment with Stacey and I’m so excited to see all of the amazing things she can do with my hair. The artists are kind and helpful, this warm and inclusive environment is a must go-to for the area. I’m new to the area and I’m so thrilled to have found a home for my hair care!

After driving to AVL for over a decade for my haircuts, I decided it was about time to find someone locally. I booked for a haircut with Shannon Loveless and I am SO HAPPY about that decision. I came in totally brainfogged and unprepared. She was no at all phased by my ridiculousness and knocked it out of the park. She was so fun to talk to, laid back, GORGEOUS, and my hair looked AMAZING when I left. She did a great job of explaining and recommending products without being pushy or salesy. I left with an amazing conditioner, perfect haircut, and a new stylist who I don't have to plan an entire day around visiting. For reference, my hair is thick, very straight, and at home color treated. I want to take the smallest amount of time possible in the mornings and don't like a lot of fuss. Shannon understood the assignment. The vibe in the salon overall was incredibly welcoming. Everyone was so nice. The space is minimal and clean, not at all pretentious or overwhelming. It is definitely a luxury, relaxing experience. If you are new to the GVL area or shopping for a new stylist I cannot recommend Fringe and Shannon enough!

Mel is an absolute curly hair guru! For anyone who has curly hair, they know the greatest treasure you can have is a great hairdresser who understands curly hairs attitude. Well if you are searching for a curly hair guru, look no further and Fringe and Mel. She goes so far beyond just cutting and styling your hair! She wants to know about your favorites experience and your worst experiences (we all have one!). Then she works with you to find your best or favorite style and cut. Mel is absolutely amazing! I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get my hair done!

Very down to Earth hair salon. Vegan products is a big plus! I got a vibrant hair style done and was happy to see other people get it done while I was there.
