Tom is a master of his craft, a true healer. Ever since my first appointment two years, I visit monthly for body maintenance and see the benefits in day to day life of living properly aligned. When I’ve been out of alignment, in just one session Tom can increase mobility and alleviate/eliminate pain. For instance, when I arrived at a recent appointment, I couldn’t bend over at all, by the end of the 90 minute session, I had regained mobility and was able to touch my toes. Highly recommend working with Tom, he is a wonderful professional and individual.

Tom saved me during pregnancy! I refused to be sedentary even in third trimester, and Tom ensured I was not only living PAIN FREE during my pregnancy, but he prepped me for birth, postpartum, and beyond. As a former professional athlete, I constantly was living with some sort of pain and it was not until Tom did I learn and embrace that Pain is not inevitable (especially during pregnancy). Close to a year now PP, I keep him in my rotation to ensure my body is operating the best as it can be. Do yourself a favor and visit him as he can discover and address body mechanic deficiencies that may be impacting your daily life. For ladies who are looking to Explant your breast implants……. Tom physically (and emotionally) prepped/helped me recover from the chaos our bodies go through. He truly is the master of his craft.

After falling down, hitting my head and having a concussion, Tom suggested Red Light Therapy. Before my first visit I was lightheaded. After the Red Light Therapy I felt much better in 5 minutes! I wasn’t lightheaded at all. Within the next 15 minutes I felt so much better. Recommend highly! Also went back for Red Light Therapy for treatment of Poison Ivy. Went 3 times for that and it cleared up faster then previous times I got Poison Ivy. Very reasonable prices. Thanks Tom! Jeff

I’ve been seeing Tom for about 1-2 yrs. originally went for a neck injury. He 100% relieved the pain I had been experiencing for 2 months in 30 minutes. I’ve been going back for a tricky pelvic floor dysfunction. I had seen 2 PT’s for this work prior and Tom has knowledge and professionalism I hadn’t found prior.I went from going in about 40% healed to now 99% (it will relapse at times). It has changed my life. If you’re in need for this type of work - I trust Tom 100%. I also appreciate that he’s always trying to learn more and be better at his craft.

It's pretty easy to look at the reviews and know you are going to get a gifted bodyworker. I had a session with Tom this morning and I feel confident in saying he likely has some of the best hands in Charlotte. He practices with both intuition and intention but also has excellent knowledge of anatomy and the interconnectivity of the body. As a physical therapist with extensive education on manual therapy, I would highly recommend Tom Archer!

Tom is a miracle worker! He helped me with nausea and pain and random ailments throughout my pregnancy, right up until I gave birth! He helped make room in my belly for my baby to flip from a breech position on his own. He is gentle, trustworthy, genuine, and truly kind. Tom is gifted and so skilled at helping people feel better! Tom is an amazing bodywork therapist. He’s so knowledgeable and really takes time to understand your needs. I typically ask a lot of questions during our sessions and he always throughly explains what’s he’s doing and why which I appreciate. I saw him throughout my twin pregnancy and 100% credit his work as to why I felt great throughout my pregnancy. He helped prepare my body for childbirth, and I was able to have an uncomplicated, intervention free delivery. Highly recommend.

I was referred to Tom by a friend when I was 6 months postpartum from a C-section. He was able to completely flatten my c section scar that had been raised. Tom was able to identify and provide relief for a bunch of issues and discomfort that I was having post pregnancy - some that I didn’t even know wasn’t normal. He is also very knowledgeable about breast tissue and was able to support me through breastfeeding. He is caring and has a way of making you feel very comfortable. I’ve seen Tom on and off for the past year and a half and wish I could go to him everyday. My husband and I have recommended him to many of our friends and family. Everyone should go see Tom!

Tom was outstanding! A friend mentioned his expertise and skills for individuals postpartum, and I am so thankful for this recommendation. Tom was intentional, efficient, beyond helpful, and easy to talk with while being worked on. I had seen another chiropractor in the area and still felt dissatisfied with the results around my stomach. After one, single 90 minute session with Tom, my leakage stopped, I felt aligned, and my stomach was more consistent with what it was pre-pregnancy. He is truly a miracle worker! I was having intense pressure and pain due to a liver issue and he was the only one who could alleviate my symptoms. I have been going to him for almost a year and it has been truly life changing. I no longer have daily pain and he also alleviated other symptoms of nausea, headaches, fatigue. I believe that Tom at Full Body Function can fix just about anything and I will continue to go to him!

I am a mother of three and I had diatasis recti. I tried everything to close it to no avail. I was recommened to Tom and within 4 sessions he was able to close it! Being dealing with a chronic issue for years, have tried many many alternatives medicines for long periods. Tom’s method delivers relief, more importantly he shows great care for his clients. I refer to Tom as “my body whisperer”! We met by chance after I had a full hip replacement, and I was experiencing a lot of pain in my leg from the effects of the surgery. My traditional physical therapists would not listen to what I was saying, and just went through their normal protocol. When Tom and I met he said, “come see me, I can help you”. He did! The first visit! I could walk again without pain! Tom cares about helping you! I highly recommend him to everyone!

I've never met a practitioner like Tom before. I went to him to attempt to heal faster after some cosmetic surgery and have continued to go because he's been able to help eliminate chronic issues that I never even knew could be mitigated. He fixes you. It's like magic actually. Through a series of light touches and occasionly some firmer massage like pressure, he takes what was pain when you walked in and you don't have pain when he walked out. It's the closest thing to miraculous I've ever seen in the medical profession. I feel like everyone should go and I've referred so many of my friends. He's become my go to person for all types of healing and I'm super grateful to have found him.

Tom has a better understanding and knowledge of the body than anyone I ever ever met in the medical field in the 17 years I have had chronic illness. He has been able to help alleviate my chronic pain from fibromyalgia, acute pain from injuries, and get to the root cause of the pain to permanently fix it (not just temporarily relieve it like many places do). I can not say enough about his skills and dedication to his job and patients!!!

Tom is Amazing. I’m not sure how to best describe exactly what he does, but he is basically a “body whisperer” and truly cares a about his clients’ wellbeing. I originally started seeing Tom for my low back pain, but that is just a small fraction of what he can help with. It is amazing how as we grow older, we just excuse aches and pains as normal. However he has showed me that it doesn’t have to be the case. He can even work his magic on symptoms such as sinus pain, stagnant lymph, nausea and serious headaches. Most recently he has been fundamental in helping me understand and course correct a fatigued adrenal system. If you aren’t feeling optimal in your body, do yourself a favor and book a consultation with Tom. I am sure you will not regret it. You’ll probably just be wondering why you didn’t do it sooner.

Tom is an amazing bodywork therapist. He brings forth his sensitivity and intuitive skills in order to help me adjust and align the areas that needed to be worked on. The first step is to become aware and he has helped me become aware of what I needed to do to improve my posture. I’ve also had hip and pelvic issues for quite some time, it got to the point where extreme pain was normal, especially during my menstrual cycles, now I barely feel any pain each month. After every session, I still get surprised of how loose my body feels, my hips are more balanced and I have more range of motion. My knees are straightening out and I feel so much stronger and aligned than I have ever felt before. Tom is truly gifted and has an expert knowledge of the body. I highly recommend him to anyone!

Tom is not only a phenomenal body worker but an exceptional human being. He truly cares for his clients and provides stellar service. Last year at 45 years old I was diagnosed with Mononucleosis.
