Scheduled a cut and color with Lueria and she did an absolute amazing job! My first time getting a professional color done and she exceeded my expectations. I felt so relaxed the entire time, the downtown location is beautiful and I loved the music playlist she had going. I can't wait to schedule with her again!

Lueria is a fantastic colorist, stylist and gives great haircuts. I have naturally curly long hair and she knows how to cut and care for it. She also has revived my hair over the years, teaching me how to keep it healthy and beautiful. Lueria is also very efficient, reliable and always on time, which is so helpful with a busy schedule. I have seen many stylists over the years and Lueria is by far my favorite. Not only does she keep me feeling great about my hair (and receiving consistent compliments), she also centers my needs as a busy professional by always running on schedule and on time. She's kind and accommodating if I need to ask for a change, going the extra mile to make my life as smooth as possible. Lueria is a wonderful choice for a hairdresser. She is fun, honest, open to new styles, has great ideas, and gives a great cut. What I like most about Lueria as a stylist is that each time I go, she always is willing to look at the picture I bring and go with the style. She will tell me what works and what does not. So many times stylists you have visited several times think they know you and then give you the same cut you have always had. Not Lueria,, she is open to change and I like that. Highly recommend her!!!

I don’t know why it’s so difficult to find a stylist in the downtown area. After calling multiple locations and leaving messages that I wanted to get basic cut and style, I finally got a call back. 5 calls and 1 call back from L at FYI. I gladly booked and could not be happier with the service and the cut. She was thorough, gave simple instructions for maintenance and didn’t try to upsell me on product I’ll never use. I love the cut and after years of searching, I’m happy to have finally found a stylist who gets it.

I've gone to Jodi here at FYI for years (since she moved here from another nearby salon). I love the location of this place and that it is usually fairly easy to park on the street. Back to Jodi... She's the BEST colorist AND is amazing wielding her shears, etc... And she's especially fantastic with shorter styles. Her attention to detail and her belief that her client's hair is a testament to her work is just one of many reasons to go to her. Just do it.

I came into to see Lueria today for my first haircut since August. Lueria is great! She has a knack for taking the picture or description I give her and tailoring it perfectly to my type of hair and features. She has been cutting my hair for 7 years now and I have never been dissapointed. In addition to the excellent haircuts, FYI is impecable. The location in the pearl is beautiful. If you have some time before or after you can go to the cafe across the street to get a great coffee or walk through the park and look at the koi.

Lueria has done my hair several times. between cuts, coloring, and styling. She's very good at what she does, uses quality product, and is so fun and friendly. I would bring her pictures of what I wanted and she'd talk them through with me and compare what I could expect my hair to do if we tried those styles and whether they would work or if there was a way we could get close to the look with my features being a little different than the pictures. I always knew what to expect when she started working on my hair.

I had a very nice experience at FYI. The location is great and in such an upbeat and hip area plus the salon was very comfortable and I liked sitting by the front window watching people go about their day. My hair cut was as to be expected. Perfect! Lueria was thorough in the cut, so precise but quick, the color was done perfectly. It was obvious to me that the training and talent here is extreme and a pleasure to have found. Thank you for taken good care of me!
