Hands down Kerry gives the best haircut I have ever had which is just a bonus to her personality. It's def worth the hour drive for me to come here. Its amazing how a haircut and little beard trim can take you from a grumpy old fisherman to carch of the day ;)

Great environment! The employees definitely take care of the their clientele. I've gotten my cut from a young lady named Kerry and she does an amazing job regardless of whether you know what you want or not! The owner is also an absolute gentleman.

Before this past year I did not know Kerry and Sean, but now I'm glad I have. I may have spent 30 minutes to an hour on my haircut, but these were some of the most open, honest and straight forward people you will meet. Not a mean bone between them. They were greatly professional and very good with their work. I left there feeling much more confident than i have before and im glad that I left my look in the hands of Kerry and she did not disappoint. I'm so glad that people like this and a business like that are still around to be a place of professionalism and welcomeness, I highly recommend them to anyone.

Gabba Gabba Salon is the best in all of Hampton Roads! I’ve been coming to Kerry for my hair for over 5 years now! She always does a wonderful job and exceeds expectations. She taught me how to better style my beard in between appointments too. She and Sean are always so kind and make the shop feel very welcoming to all. Kerry is also so knowledgeable about the area and gives the best restaurant recommendations - a bonus on top of an awesome haircut!

Getting a hair cut here is phenomenal, the staff and owners really treat you like they give a hoot about your hair. I explained to the lady cutting my hair of what I was hoping to get and she gave me a fade hair cut like you would see in a magazine. I will forever return to this salon for future haircuts knowing I'm in good hands!

I have been getting my hair done by Kerry for over 10 years, following her from when she started doing hair at Supercuts to now at Gabba Gabba Salon. I just get in the chair, let her work her magic and always come away satisfied. GGS has a fantastic atmosphere and I recommend them wherever I go.

I would definitely give TEN stars for this business and the owners! I will begin with the fact that they are people who genuinely care about their clients and their reputation. The skillsets are evident for each of their clients after they leave from their session with either Sean or Kerry. The energy in the salon is absolutely terrific! I was lead to Gabba Gabba over a year ago and knew right away that I was paired with the perfect fit for me. Sean has been in the professional hair business since the late 70's and I get to be the recipient of all of his expert skills. I have the benefit of having a local hair colorist and hair stylist (two very different skills, not often mastered together) take care of my hair. Sean has taken the time to get to know me as a client and as a person which is something I truly value. When you find unicorn business owners like Sean and Kerry, you hold on and nurture that relationship.

There is literally no place better than Gabba Gabba! Kerry and Sean are the best at what they do, and are also great people. I would never trust anyone else to touch my hair, and would recommend anyone looking for a new place to check them out immediately. Wish there was more than 5 stars I could give!

Unfortunately, I saw the salon owner speaking about a former employee and her battle with alcoholism. Nasty mean girl stuff- I would suggest if you are a client/employee here do not vent at all about your life.

Excellent salon! I was looking for a place to get me out of the barbershop cycle to cater towards a longer hairstyle and this is perfect for that! Sean did a great job!

I came to them on dire need of help because AVEEDA salon not only didn’t do what I wanted they did a terrible job at what they did. And I was going to an event the following day…They got me in even without a consultation because of the situation and listened to what I wanted and did an AMAZING JOB! Wonderful team and good at what they do!

I had my hair cut from two different places before GG and none of them really understood what I wanted. After being approached by Kerry on the street telling me that I need a beard trim because I looked like Santa Claus, I decided to try them out. Not only did Kerry understand what I was looking for, but she exceeded my expectations in every way possible. She has cut my hair three times now and my hair has never looked better. She's also great at beard trims as well. If you're looking for a place to get your hair cut, Gabba Gabba is the place to go.

It took me long to find a good stylist in the area. Sean is superb! Other masters are good too as I saw their work. Update. A couple of years passed since the original review, but this stays the same - good place.

The store was not open at the specified appt time so had to wait for some1 to show up?! Initially, after paying large sum $, I had requested a receipt, in order to review expenses for my salon visit. Of course, any expenses relating to services are supposed to be transparent. While I was told about the toner, this charge has been included in the color and styling charged by previous salons and not separate. The high expense of the toner in amount of $33 was not expected. In addition, an even bigger issue is the $45 HC45 expense, which I assume was hair serum/oil/cream treatment? I was not told the amount I would be separately charged for this treatment either. The charges for specific products should be discussed up front prior to treatment. In fact, I would have declined BOTH treatments due to the high expense. Also, I stood there waiting - again - for receipt for 15/20 minutes before I suggested she e-mail the receipt for my review. After my 1st e-mail, I was told to make another trip to the salon so I declined, and instead advised the resolution needs to be done via phone or e-mail. Received no response from Mr Hirsekorn, and it has been two months, and still no response after I sent multiple e-mails. This lack of response or business integrity is frustrating, disappointing, and frankly the worst response I have ever unfortunately experienced as a customer. In fact, as a former retail business owner, I have never treated a customer with such disregard. A courtesy credit to my card is all I requested and your company chose to ignore this request.
