The most dishonest person there is in beauty salons. She put 30 tape-in ​​hair extensions on me but sold them to me telling me that they were 5 packs, knowing that a single pack has 20 pieces no matter the brand, and that they were 100% human hair, that they would last me a year. But they only lasted 2 months, she never showed me the packaging and charged me $2,760, I had given her an advance of $2,000 and this was the receipt, you be the judge!!!! Plus, she doesn't take care of your hair and uses alcohol to remove them, she doesn't respect people's time, she always arrives at least 45 minutes late!!! One star is too much!!!

Follow up Nicole M. No, honey I’m not Barbie but I expect professionalism when you advertise as the #1 salon in BR. Needless to say I left the salon at 12:30am and my top of head was “White” with a tint of purple while the back was more platinum. She spent 30 min taking video of the back of my head but never once showed the top of my head. She also charged me $850 and when I asked why because all of this was supposed to be a “fix” from a month ago that she never fixed her comment was “well, if you want to look like Barbie, you can pay like Barbie”. She is a head case. She is rude and unprofessional. I will be filing against her and I have all of our text messages as well as recorded video. The next morning, 10/30 my extensions fell out and I text her and she said “I will fix it all”. Then later that day I received a text that she was referring me to someone she had trained. She is unpredictable, unprofessional and has no business doing hair nor calling her salon the #1 salon in BR. Her assistant is a super sweet guy but he even said to me that he did not sign up to bleach my hair as he thought he was only “assisting” her. I recorded it all and I will turn her in to the state board of cosmetology. I have text, photos and video to back up my situation and at this time, I am not letting her do this to anyone else. Also, she has asked me more than once to work for her selling “Barbie” hair. No thank you!

Julian did my hair and I gave a very clear example on how I wanted my hair. It looks COMPLETELY butchered. Layers uneven when I didn't ask for a "shaggy" look as he called it. Cut my bangs WAY too short when I showed him examples. It looks like a hack job. I have never felt so bad about a haircut in my life. I left crying. It’s so bad I am thinking of just shaving my hair completely and starting over. Edit to add: I would love a refund so I can get this fixed. At this point idk if it’s even fixable it’s so choppy and not framed to my face at all. Might have to look at wigs or if they want to give me extensions on them to fix this I’ll take that too.

I find Studio Gabriella to have the best stylists and they're alway accommodating. They cater to your specific style (desire) and offer great suggestions on the best look for you. Awesome place!

Do NOT go! Cut my bangs wrong twice. It was so bad the first time that they gave me extensions for free. Decided to give the benefit of the doubt as they said it was a new girl and Gabrielle made it right. The second time, Gabrielle McKellar, the owner, cut them short and gave me a keratin treatment. My bangs were so short that they stuck out. She told me to "wear a beanie or hat"! I knew they would make a line in my keratin treatment so I didn't. The keratin treatment was supposed to last 3 months and barely lasted 3 weeks (using keratin safe products). She ignored my request to fix and would not give me a refund. Read the other reviews and you will see the pattern. She did the same thing to another girl who had a straightening treatment. Wish I'd read the google reviews first. She also owns 1808, McKellar Marketing LLC, and FEMA Manpower. AVOID! Poor business practices and communication!

First of all, I’m OBSESSED with my haircut. I came in with a pretty clear idea of the style I wanted, and Gabriella executed it beautifully. She made me feel so comfortable in the chair, and talked me through the entire cut, consulting me throughout the process make sure it was what I wanted. Something I found so helpful and unique about Gabriella was how she did the cut in a way that best suited my hair. She kindly explained that the inspiration picture I showed her was a great starting point, but there were some changes she would make to showcase the best qualities of my hair specifically. Beyond that, the vibe in the salon is unmatched. The space is chic and inviting, and the playlist was 10/10. My search for a hair stylist in Baton Rouge is definitely over. I had a fantastic experience at Studio Gabriella, and I honestly wouldn’t consider getting my hair done anywhere else.

I got my hair trimmed and layered by Gabby and she did an amazing job! I hadn’t gotten a hair cut in years due to a bad haircut from another salon, so I was a bit nervous, but she was so sweet and I absolutely love my hair! Her salon was easy to find and had such a cute atmosphere. I will definitely be going back to recommending her to all my friends!

I have been needing a trim/cut for quite awhile so I scheduled an appointment online (didn’t love that you request credit card payment info BEFORE appt) and was excited to finally get this done! My excitement ended when I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment and the doors were locked, lights off, and not a soul inside. Google shows you open at 8am but I gave you the benefit of the doubt. Stood outside for about 5-10 minutes then headed inside and asked if the gym staff had heard anything, thinking maybe there was an emergency or something. They said no so I continued waiting in the lobby area. My appointment time came and went and no one ever showed up!!! Who does this?! I called when I arrived and left a voicemail - no response. I then left voicemail #2 when I left 30 minutes after arriving. It’s now 3.5 hours after my appointment time and STILL NO WORD! Who runs a business this way? Also, My appointment was scheduled with Gabriella herself. I should’ve known why this salon had openings and no one else did. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother.

I went to studio Gabriella around 1.5 -2 years ago and while my hair looked nice, done by the owner, Gabriella, she charged me almost $400 for highlights/ maybe some lowlights and a haircut. The experience wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. I was there forever and a day, and no other options were given for a lower cost, so then I felt obligated to be okay with that cost. Again, my hair looked fine but not $400 worth. For that price, I was expecting astonishing results. I’m not a cheap person by any means and do believing in paying for what you get, but since then, I found a different hair stylist in Baton Rouge who has been doing hair for longer then the owner at studio Gabrielle and he does a phenomenal job on my hair and for half the cost. Moral of the story, prices are absurd for just “good” results., and the price i mentioned in this review was a while back, I can’t imagine what they are now. Yikes!

The prices are exorbitant. I've had mixed feelings about my haircut. It was good at times and not good sometimes. Make sure you discuss the rates and styles you wanted with them during your appointment.

Yaz did a great job with trimming up the ends and straightening my hair out afterwards! I recommend her if you go to this salon. The only downside, I wish I had reviewed the priciest before hand. I had washed my hair prior to my appointment so the moment I showed up, it was ready to be trimmed. For a trim and a blow dry, it costed me $75 dollars which was the most expensive trim I’ve ever paid for considering she didn’t wash my hair. So just a heads up before scheduling an apt, check the prices!

03/02/22 I came back after the salon contacted and my 2nd visit was better. My hair is looking fuller and the curls looks bouncy. Thank you Olivia for doing a great job. 02/12/22 I came in on 02/12 for a blow-dry in preparation for an event on 02/13. The stylist, Sadie, was in there by herself and didn't even know I had an appointment. She was knowledgeable when talking to me about how to take care of my colored hair but everything went downhill quickly.

I called and made an appointment for 9:30 AM the next day. I confirmed my appointment the day prior and when I showed up to the salon no one was there. I called multiple times and no one answered. I called and left a voicemail saying I had an appointment that day and no one was there. No one ever called me back to apologize or even reschedule me. If they are this bad about scheduling, I definitely don’t want to see how they do hair.

Everyone was very nice. But the stylist who cut my hair really cut it very unevenly, with so many odd layers,. I'm still trying to get the bad layers out and it's almost been a year. I went back to my original stylist and I won't be taking a chance on going here again. They spent a lot of time styling it to hide it after the cut also. It took an hour to style it to make it look good. The owner said it looked great too, so they should have been honest and corrected it. Instead of hiding it and pretending it was fine.

Made an appointment earlier in the week for a blowout for a time sensitive event. They let me sit waiting for 45 minutes before I asked about the time and only then did they acknowledge the wait and said they didn’t know how long it would be as they had a client earlier who took unexpectedly long. I left without any service even tho I spent almost an hour there. Now I’m stuck bc all other salons are booked all day. They offered me a sad 20% off my next appointment as an apology. Very disappointed and will likely not return.

Very nice place! I will say the girl cut my hair unevenly, so when I later noticed it she happily took me back in to fix it and add more layers. With the fix-it visit, one side had a very noticable chop on the top layer, while the side is perfectly blended. Imma be honest, I think she curled my hair so I wouldn't notice the mistake. Super shady. I'd rather have her admit a mistake was made than to hide it by curling it.

I made an appointment to get permanent hair straightening service. Before getting the service I have told her that I wanted a permanent hair straightening. She mentioned that my hair will be straight and manageable for atleast 2 months. But after my first wash my hair returned to normal wavy structure. Immediately I called her and asked about that then she asked me to blow dry my hair continuously. But after the second wash it was returned to normal wavy hair. After that I tried to reach her every day but I am not getting any response from Gabriella.

Gabriella did a fantastic job today. My hair had been in a ponytail Since March 17th. It was time for a change. I showed her a couple of pictures of a hair syle I liked and wahlaah! . Ive already gotten numerous compliments; A great haircut can make you feel so much better. I will be back for sure.

Went in for hair extensions she went all over the place with them not in a row plus she had a assistant helping her that attached my micro link extensions on maybe 5 strands of hair wich caused them to fall out after 3 weeks ! After I was all Done I had left over hair that she apparently moved To the back while I was checking out and only after asking for my left over hair did she went back there and handed it to me like WTH Lady I paid for that hair !!! First and last time I went there
