The massage was great, Ellie did a great job.. but the “spa” side of this location is awful. They essentially have you in a closet.. they are not real rooms and don’t have real doors, I even had someone walk in during my massage. I cannot imagine having to work in such a tight space, the bed barely fit!

David Gonzalez: wow what a great stylist. David really listens to what I want and also gives feedback as to what would be best for my type of hair and my level of styling. His styling hours keeps me current, but honors my lifestyle and the type of hair I have. I would highly recommend David. Plus he’s a fun person.

David did a great job on my hair. I’ve struggled finding a hair stylist who can look at the inspiration photo and deliver the look I want. He did a great job of explaining what he was seeing in the photo and asked for my expectations of being more of a blonde or a brunette. A true professional. I’ll absolutely be back and look forward to working with him in the future on my next “look”. Thank you David!

I've been looking for a hair stylist since moving to Tucson. I only get my hair cut once a year at the moment because of my search. Since this location is down the road from me and has great reviews, I was hoping to be decently pampered. I have long hair and was shocked that I was done in 30 minutes (shampoo, cut, blow dry). Although I loved my hair stylist's personality, I left feeling disappointed in my experience, especially paying $80 and leaving a $20 tip. It all felt so rushed. I felt like I went to a Cost Cutters. My search continues.. .

I really enjoy going to this Gadabout location. I have been to this location’s salon and spa. Both were great! SALON I have gone to Meg Allison a few times now for haircuts. She does a great job with my fine straight hair! I love the head massage she gives while washing my hair. It is so relaxing and if I have a headache, it really helps! We can carry on a conversation or just sit in silence, which is nice. I am not always interested in talking and I appreciate people that respect that. The cost of a haircut here is pretty much the same as any nice salon you go to. Meg is a great stylist if you are looking for one! SPA I went to the spa for the Himalayan hot stone message. Elle was excellent and I left feeling relaxed and sleepy. The hot stones really helped with some of the big knots I had in my back. Elle was very communitive before the message and asked if I had any allergies and what hurt the most. During the massage she was very quite and that allowed me to zone out and just enjoy being pampered. I think the cost of the message was in line with what most spas charge. If you are looking for a spa, Gadabout is a small location but worth checking out!

I went to see Coco D. today for a simple haircut and she managed to make it feel like something extravagant. She paid attention to my requests, and made me feel pampered. Annnd my hair looks and feels fabulous. Got my first compliment on it at Target on my way home. Thank you Coco you made me feel wonderfully special.

I'm a little bit of a wild man, but I spare no expense for a haircut as I prefer not to have a chop job by someone straight out of "barber college" for lack of better words as I write this review. The funny thing is I rarely brush my hair. Just don't want a gash from a pair of clippers that may be the only tool someone knows how to utilize at Supercuts. For many years here in Tucson and other cities I've lived Toni & Guy was my spot. A place where you can trust them to do there thing. After all you shouldn't have to tell a mechanic how to work on your car. There should be trust and little guidance on your part. Many salons that appear to be premium will have someone that is not educating themselves further in their trade and still charging a premium because of the decor of the salon alone. Faux Salons is what they are. Toni & Guy isn't one of those places. And neither is Gadabout. Gadabout in my opinion is parallel or exceeds the experience at Toni & Guy. And certainly exceeds any Aveda Salon I've been in. I recommend Angel Florez. However I had my hair cut by another there once that was also very professional. So I'd have to assume they all are. And in the Catalina Foothills where I walk in tatted up desert rat with long hair (a wild man as I mentioned above) I feel at home here. But why shouldn't you. That's my long winded review because Google requested it.

Manicure stations are outdated and grimy, there's dust everywhere. Had gel manicures here a few times with several people in the past, from nail shaping to polish application the quality of the work was mediocre. Tried a blowout with one of their "top" stylists and it was the worst I've had in Tucson, flyaways everywhere and didn't even bother using styling products to fix it.

The customer service here is always fantastic! On my most recent visit I saw Bri for a manicure, and she was so great! I also see Marissa for all my waxing needs and we always have a good laugh even when she’s ripping my hair out!

I have been going here for years and Coco is amazing, but I had to change my rating from 5 to 3 because my most recent appointment was canceled and.i was not informed. I showed up and found out someone else was put in my time and mine was canceled. Not ok.

The people who work there are really nice and I was happy with my haircut/trim BUT when I was checking out, there was a man checking out at the same time. He and I both had very similar hairstyles and had actually checked in at the same time so had essentially the same service. But my service was $75 and his was $24. I was blown away and I don’t get it. Why a $50 difference for the same basic cut??? I won’t go back again. I found a new place that I love and she does an awesome job for $30.

This is my happy place. The minute you walk in, you know you'll be pampered. The front desk folks are beyond helpful and sweet. The salon is beautiful. My stylist, Kim, is an artist. I have horrible hair and she always cuts and highlights it to perfection -and- I can style it at home. She is the best I've ever worked with. Here is the deal - she is very honest about what you can do with your hair. She will do whatever you want, of course, but listen to her. She's been doing this a long time. She books up quickly which is another testament to her excellence. Recommend this salon and Kim without reservation.

David Gonzalez is the best hair colorist I have ever encountered in Tucson! He’s not only technically excellent but he’s very kind and personable, too. He’s recently been promoted to Advanced Stylist, too. I also had a full Keratin treatment which was great.

I always have a positive experience at Gadabout. They really know what they are doing. They make sure people are efficiently trained and proven before they are on the floor and the staff is all all-hands-on-deck for amazing service. I have only had positive experiences at all of their locations but this one is my favorite :)
