I left so upset. Every grandma is very protective of her grandchildren and I'm no different. Kids at school can be so mean. This is why I gave two, very specific instructions regarding my grandson's haircut. Vanessa only listened to one and ignored the other. My grandson has a swirl cowlick on the crown of his head and also has to wear a retainer strap for his heavy glasses. The first things I told Vanessa, specifically, was to NOT cut the crown at all, not to even trim it. It took all summer to get it to the length that will finally lay down. I also specifically told her the back needs to be long enough to cover his eye glass strap. She started with the clippers and right up the back she went! I got up and walked over to her and said I think that looks too short to cover his glasses strap so she completely stopped doing anything in the back. She obnoxiously said, "YOU TOLD ME NOT TO CUT THE CROWN, AND I DIDN'T!" I reiterated that I had also requested that she keep the back long enough to cover the strap. Thankfully, she didn't touch the crown as I had asked. I asked Vanessa if she can complete the haircut with scissors and she complied. She continued to trim around the rest of his hair and did a decent job. When I looked at the back of his head, there was a bald spot with hair on both sides at his nape. I said this has to fixed. She argued with me, making lame excuses why it was like it was. She said, "well I stopped cutting when you came over and jumped on me"!! WHAT??!? I told her I did not jump on her I was just trying to reiterate that I had asked her to keep the back long enough to cover his strap. My grandson does have a another colic at the nape of its neck but when cut correctly it does not show. The owner of the shop, Gail, chimed in and said that the reason his hair was laying like it was at the nape was because of his strap. I told her no, he is always had a colic there. (Again, if it's cut correctly it doesn't show) Our regular barber was booked for this same day notice and the kids were out of school early so I took what began as an opportunity to squeeze in a haircut, but ended up being an unfortunate chance at Gail Day's Salon. When we got home, we also realized she had nicked his little ear either with the scissors or clippers.

Gail is awesome, she was responsible for the haircut that received more compliments than any in my 40 years of getting my haircut. There will be more folks from my office going to Gail. Highly recommend going out of your way (if needed) to see her!!

I went here to get my hair done by Ashley and I had the most amazing experience. I showed her a photo of how I wanted my hair to look and she made my vision come to life. I’m so happy and will definitely be going to get my hair done by Ashley again here soon.

Normally I have my mom cut my hair or I cut it. Not anymore. I will be back to this treasure. Got exactly what I wanted and prices were great. Can't say enough about this place.

Gail is super friendly. My mom has been going to her for years. $30 for a haircut and I called on Thursday and got Mom in on Friday morning. I liked how respectful she was to my elderly mother.

Had a perm but back of my head did not take and although I thought I was clear I wanted large waves, got tight small curls. Perhaps I wasn't clear. They were busy and sometimes folks miss things. I will go back and try again. Prices are great and staff are very nice.

Awesome! Great experience Ashley B was the most sweet gifted stylist I've come across in quite awhile. She worked tirelessly giving me a great color highlight and low light treatment with great flattering cut and blowout. The entire staff friendly and patient with everyone there from walk ins,to other stylists what a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely be back. Thanks for just being a great crew and making me feel like a million bucks walking out

I came in as a walk in on my 18th birthday just to change things up a bit. I've never really been at a salon, so I didn't know what to expect. Whatever expectations I thought I had were thrown out the window. I was greeted with excellent customer servive and finese. My stylist was Ashley, and she did an astounding job. I would recommend this salon to anyone who needs to get their hair done. The price is definitely worth it.

We travel for work, and finding a new stylist in each location is always nerve-wracking for me. My hair is color treated and naturally curly so requires someone with experience to handle. I am so happy to have found this salon! Every person there was warm and friendly. Scheduling was a breeze and I loved getting a text reminder of my appointment. Jerreé did an amazing job! She listened to my requests and then gave her expert opinion and she delivered a beautiful color and cut for me. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy with a first time visit, it usually takes a few tries to work out the kinks but I am 100% satisfied on the first try. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
