Kara was great to work with! I wanted to connect with a stylist who could help me become a better expert with my wavy hair and she did just that! She took the time and patience to help me see my natural wave pattern as well as advice and tips for styling! If you’ve ever wondered if you’ve had wavy/curly hair and you want some help figuring it out, Kara was amazing :)

Garbo's just became my favorite salon ever. I didn't have the best experience with my last stylist but Darcy took the matters into her hands and handled the situation with the level of customer service I have never seen before! She recommended Jessica, who was simply incredible. She took the time to explain the process behind the look I was trying to achieve and my hair turned out absolutely perfect. She considered my crazy schedule and used a color technique that will make growout look less noticable, which I am super thankful for. The salon atmosphere was welcoming and professional from start to finish and I couldn’t be happier with my visit. I highly recommend Garbo’s Midtown to anyone looking for top-notch service and results!

I scheduled an appointment for 10:45 and waited until 11:15 and hadn't been seen yet, so I just cancelled and left. I'm generally pretty patient and understanding with needing to wait a bit, but beyond 35 minutes after your appointment is scheduled? 🤷

My stylist Chazmine Vargas was incredible, very skillful, patient, kind, took all the time needed to clarify what I wanted even though I was late for the appointment. Never pressured me into doing something I did not want and really listened. I am so thankful to get a new look and feel comfortable doing that. Chazmine is patient and really focused, thank you!

Went in with nasty roots and bleachy ends and Chasmine totally hooked it up! It’s hard to get the right color blonde for some stylists but she did it. Thank you !!

I went in wanting to be super blonde, I loved it, after a few days I wasn’t feeling very confident. I went back and had it toned darker, I LOVE IT and feel like myself again. Thanks Chaz! She always kills it!

Let me say Kenadee is the best stylist if you have curly hair. I grew up with my mom being a professional, and when she stopped cutting hair and the lady I loved moved to Florida, I had some bad experiences with hairdressers so I gave Kenadee a chance on a haircut and color. She knocked it out of the park. I have wildly curly hair that is beyond difficult to work with and man, Kenadee can work some magic. She also knew, due to prior issues nearly 10 years ago, I had with the owner I wasn't thrilled about going to garbos, she told me about all of the great things the salon has done and how they have changed. Most importantly she makes me feel like a valued client and maintains a level of professionalism that is rare to see anymore. She listens to what I am wanting for my hair and makes it happen. I will never go to anyone else, and I suggest to all of my friends and family that they see her!

Not a true “spa” in my opinion. It may be a great place for hair and beauty services but not a great experience for a facial.

Allie at Midtown is amazing! She is beautiful inside and out and I can’t simply thank her for being so good with my boys! She is fast and efficient and that is rare in a hair stylist! My boys love her too! We have been going to Allie for 2 years. I hope Garbos knows how amazing she is! I sure do! Thank you Allie for being YOU!

I have curly hair and I'm pretty bad at describing things, but Kara gave me the best haircut I've ever had! I usually air-dry my hair so we didn't even dry it, and she knew it would look like she wanted it to even while it was wet. Am-a-zing. And every time I go here, the staff is so sweet and helpful.:)

If you go to this location make sure to ask for Lauren Drescher! She is absolutely amazing at what she does and has the best personality! Every time i sit in her chair we have the best conversations and she is incredibly knowledgeable about products that work well for my hair type! 💓 I have never left her chair without absolutely loving my hair! She is AMAZING.

Loved my hairdresser, Loren ! I wanted a transformation and Loren delivered! I brought several pictures ,and we went from there. I left feeling BEAUTIFUL and CONFIDENT . .. The hair stylist that I went to in Midtown did not listen to anything I had asked for. I went in wanting a long hair cut with long layers without being extremely layered, but enough so that my hair would be flowy and volumized. I had told her all the things that bothered me about my last haircut as well which was that I left not looking much different. I had also asked for highlights to brighten up my whole head while also blending in the roots since they grow darker than the rest of my hair which has been naturally brightened by the sun. All she ended up doing was blending in the roots, there wasn’t a single full highlight and I paid full price for a full highlight!!! After almost 4 hours which doesn’t make much sense since I was already a golden/copper blonde and was just requesting a couple shades lighter, my hair color looked like not a single thing was done to it, and she had cut SO much of my hair off! On top of that she quite literally gave me what looked to be a single layer on my hair so that when the curls and blowout wore off my hair looked so extremely bland and basic. On top of that she did not cut my straight across bangs evenly and a couple people remarked on that. I went back the next day for a bang revision but she just made it worse by causing a lot of breakage with her razor and not actually fixing the slant. I pretended that I was happier so that I could just leave before she made any more damage and I couldn’t risk her cutting my bangs too short. After all I spent $250 plus tip to be so frustrated that I cut and dyed my hair on my own the very next day and gave myself what I actually had asked for. Due to this experience I will never go anywhere to get my hair done again. You’d think with their prices you’d be guaranteed exactly what you asked for but that is absolutely not the case. This picture is from that day. I was trying to convince myself I liked it but I ultimately felt like fricken Bo Peep with such a childish cut. You can also see the unevenness in the bangs. For reference, I’m adding the inspiration picture I had showed her beforehand (the right half of the picture), and my hair was down to my hips before she had cut it so this was definitely doable.

The last time i was in Omaha i had my hair styled and colored here. The cut was horrible and the color was not what i requested. I really wish the stylist would listen and not make decisions about my hair without consulting me. ☆____
