I had an awesome experience getting my hair cut by Hanna. She was incredibly nice and gave me an amazing scalp massage while shampooing my hair. Would definitely come again since the results were incredible!

I love coming to this salon. The building is gorgeous and it’s a spa environment. Lindsey is the only person I have trusted with my curly hair. You can tell the salon is trained for curly and has curly hair products. She is truly an expert in her field. Everything from the shampooing, cutting and hair styling is done so well. I cannot recommend them enough!

I've been coming here for years and love the vibe and people. Lindsay is the best hairstylist. She understands my wavy hair and cuts it perfectly. America at the front desk is always so helpful and greets me with a smile every appt.

Had an amazing experience here getting my hair cut by Corrie – she was incredible and did a fantastic job with keeping me comfortable (and also gave me a top-notch scalp massage while shampooing my hair). Loved the final results!

I had an appointment today for a haircut I needed to make a hair donation and Hannah helped me out with it. She gave me a beautiful haircut that was exactly as I was looking for and I'm so grateful to her. The overall experience was amazing and I'm so happy with my new look. Parking is available across the street. Lovely, clean inside. Nice and quiet when I went. I like all the little touches, from the drinks to the hand massage to the white noise machine in the hair washing area. Receptionist is not a morning person.

Dan, Dan, he's the Man and if he can't make your hair look amazing, no one can. Holy heck he is talented!!! I searched high and low for a precision cutting specialist, but I didn't know I was also getting an exceptional colorist + conversationalist. See you again soon! Thanks a bunch for making me feel great. I only have one suggestion and it isn't something Dan can do. I haven't ever been to a high end salon that doesn't have more than water and coffee for beverage selection. Bring on the vino and bubbles please. We are there to be pampered. 😁

I had a great appointment with Hanna today. She did an amazing job with my color and cut. She’s a sweetheart and an amazing stylist. She’s super talented and gave me exactly what I was looking for. I’ll definitely be back to see her when I need it redone. The salon was beautiful, welcoming and felt like I was in a spa. Everyone was super friendly.

Dan Suh gave me the best haircut I've had in several years! I have thick Asian hair that is tricky to cut well, and decided to book an appointment with him while visiting from out of town. Dan knew exactly what would work for my face shape (no pictures needed) and gave me a stylish, modern cut that looks amazing for both formal office meetings and everyday wear. He is extremely skilled, confident and precise. I especially appreciated how he believed his vision and cut off all of my bulky, unnecessary layers. My other hairstylists have tended to trim at the edges out of fear of too much change and/or pushback. I feel like a brand new person with a hairstyle that finally fits.

Lindsey and Carson turned what was a terrible experience into a lovely one. Lindsey made sure I was taken care of and made whole from the business end of things and Carson transformed a too-short blunder of a haircut into something I could be comfortable with! She made me feel safe and I have found a stylist I will continue to go to. I have adjusted the stars on the rating. I will leave my old review below this one, just so other trans people can know of both experiences. I will be continuing to go to Carson! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= OLD REVIEW =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= I’m now dysphoric to the point of probably not going out of the house for several weeks. It’s incredibly frustrating when a hairstylist puts their vision ahead of customer preference. I specifically asked for her not to go to short, showed references of my own hair in its ideal state and of other people with the exact haircut I wanted. She cut it too short because “no, really, in two weeks it will grow out to perfect length” now I have crippling dysphoria until then. The more I think about it, the more I can’t justify any more than a single star. I look hideous and have to live with this until it grows out. A refund does not help that fact nor can anything be done with the money refunded to make it grow. Do better.

I recently returned to Seattle and was looking for a new Aveda stylist. The appointment was easy to book online and they communicated reminders by text. The salon is easily accessible by several public transit options. My stylist, Maddison, was very attentive and did a beautiful job with my hair. It has been easy to style. The salon is clean and upbeat.

This place has really gone downhill. I went to the westlake location for years and had great experiences. Since Covid, I’ve had several unsatisfactory experiences and it’s time to say something. I went in for a foil to be lighter and brighter. The person who did my hair made it darker than my natural color and greener, but tried to tell me my hair was lighter and brighter. When I explained to her that the hair wasn’t at all what I wanted, she gave me the silent treatment and redid the foil. My hair was a little better after that, but still not what I wanted or had asked for. To its credit, Gary Manuel brought me in for a foil with a different person. I have very fine hair, and this person made my hair so light that it’s still breaking off almost a year later. I expressed concern about how so many foils would damage my hair, but they assured me it would be fine. Clearly they were wrong. I decided to try again with a haircut. The women cut much more off my hair than I asked her to, and it has taken months to grow out to be a halfway decent length she blamed some thing about “the perimeter“ of my hair that made her mess up the length. I’m not so sure considering that I don’t generally have this problem. She was also incredibly rough with the hairbrush. Like she didn’t know a human being and not a mannequin head was attached. After this haircut, I contacted Gary Manuel and they just didn’t care. I got no response. The salon is not the quality place that used to be. And it’s too expensive to be this bad.

Corrie did such a FABULOUS job with giving me a balayage!! She was very communicative about the whole process and was very warm and understanding to any questions/concerns that I had. I will be going back to get my hair done only by Corrie because I can’t imagine getting my hair down by anyone else besides her!😁💕

I told my stylist, Nadya, that this month was a "month of change" for me, and so in keeping with that theme, I wanted a new hairstyle. I spent only a couple of minutes describing to her what I had in mind. In retrospect, it probably would have been more helpful to Nadya if I came prepared with photos to share, illustrating the new style I wanted, but she assured me she got it. Well, she nailed it. I love my new hairstyle! Is it the cheapest cut? Absolutely not, but c'mon guys... Treat yourself. The salon is also a great space. I felt welcomed when I checked in, the music was just the right volume, it's brightly yet tastefully lit, and just overall well designed.
