Honestamente lo mas notable fue el trato hacia mi. No fueron amables cuando fui a preguntar si podria hacer una cita. Me dijieron que no y luego me dijo la menos amable que me quedara a un corte pero ni con ella si no con su compañera. Segundo fue el mal corte. Ya ha pasado tiempo y no me lo puedo arreglar. Se nota rapidsmente cuando uno no sabr cortar. Y no es un corte largo pero me lo corto en ciertas partes sin pensar en la forma del pelo. No tiene forma. No recomiendony no pienso regresar.

Worst hair experience EVER. My daughter’s hair was burned and left orange. The owner did her hair. She arrived late to the appointment spent the whole time watching her grandson instead of paying attention to my daughter’s hair. She burned it and large pieces fell off. She had the audacity to say that orange hair looked great. She left large patches of bleach all throughout the back of the head. If you are thinking of coming here go somewhere else instead. She ruined my daughter’s beautiful hair and FORCED her to pay $140. Her hair was so damaged the next salon colorist I took her to refused to do anything because it was so fried. That happened 3 times. No one wanted to touch it and be responsible for the damage Maria, the owner of Genesis caused. I finally found someone who was able to somewhat help but at the cost of $340. They were not able to completely fix it but just cut it above her shoulders and do protein repair to call down the burn and tone the orange down to a calmer somewhat caramel color but still some orange was so bad and burned that she still retained the orange in the back of her head. Had she re-bleached it would have burned off(a test strand was done prior and that’s what happened). Maria, the owner of Genesis Hair Salon said she knew how to do balayage and instead just threw GIANT blotches of bleach everywhere in horrible placements and burned her hair by not toning it properly. I think because she was so busy watching her 3 year old grandson all over the salon she lacked focus as well. If my daughter paid you for the salon owners time, I expect your time for that time frame. Clearly babysitting small children at the salon is not ok. Like the kid ran outside the store in the middle of the appointment, that’s insane. In total she charged her $160 plus the extra expense of $340 to repair her hair and the trauma. It’s been 6 months now and my daughter’s hair is still not even close to being healthy or long like it was. She has invest $100’s in hair products to try and save it from the constant breaking/falling that occurred afterwards. She is super sensitive and anxious about showing her hair now. She has worn a hat for the last 6 months because even though her hair was somewhat fixed, it wasn’t fixed as well as it could have been because of how damaged Maria the owner of Genesis Hair Salon left it. She didn’t even try to blow it out properly or style it afterwards because she had to hurry up to feed her grandson because he was acting up.She is an older lady who clearly has no idea how to do hair and should stick to watching her grandchildren on her off time. I have filed a complaint with the Board of Beauty and Cosmetology. This lady doesn’t deserve to keep her license if this is how she treats clients. I am looking at legal counsel at this point. This was such a traumatic experience for my daughter. I didn’t think an owner of a salon could so something like this but I was wrong. She had no remorse when I spoke to her about it and refused to refund my daughter or to pay for the damages she inflicted on her hair. She will say anything to get your business. Don’t fall for the lies. The pictures speak louder than words.

They cut thick curly and straight thick hair beautifully. The ladies are pleasant. My daughter and I also get our eyebrows threaded here. Great Place for Beauty needs

Well I took a chance and failed, the Barber across the parking lot was busy and I needed a haircut… picture a drive through car wash, in and out quickly but a bunch of missed spots and that’s what our hair looked like. I don’t recommend going here unless you want to pay a ton to look like a lawnmower went through your hair.

I had a perm, and had my hair trimmed a little and set with a curling iron. Maria worked fast, was very gentle. I walk with a walker, and she was very careful with me. My hair is beautiful. Best perm ever, Maria, and I think her prices are very fair.

Ana did an amazing job. I'm so happy with what she did to my hair. My hair was in awful shape and she made it alive and beautiful again! Thank you so much Ana. Not only that everyone who works there were super friendly and inviting. I think her name was Maria she was also super nice. I will only be going here for my hair needs. I took my daughter to get her hair highlighted and she really messed up my daughters hair. It is the WORSE place to come get your hair done at.

My sister went in for highlights in it came out gray , black , blond , and red , her hair is gummie which is bad never coming here again and we sure didnt pay

Nice people but way over priced. Should not have cost $300.00. I do not like the way my hair came out. The only reason I did not say that my hair came out bad was because I was to embarrassed. I will have to get some color remover and some toner. With the price and the out come, I do not think I will be going back.

They've been doing my hair for sometime now. It turns out very nice and the cut is pretty. They always had great prices for haircut and highlights now the prices are way over priced. Please get rid of the nasty grey foot stool. Clean up bathroom and tile little more.

This shop is very very good the lady who owns the very knowledgeable in hair styles shampoos coloring perms very very nice employees do a good job don't ever seem to run very far behind very very impressed with the owner and with the shop I think you should give him a try if you're looking for a haircut I think you'll be very satisfied

Took my son there today who is only 23 months. The lady who cut his hair was so great with him and did a FANTASTIC job! Very pleased!
