Been a regular at Genesis for 3 months. Gotta give kudos to the team for always keeping the gym and bathroom clean and organized. Biggest shoutout to Jose at the desk. Makes members feel so welcomed and creates a sense of belonging and community by always chatting with us. I came in today asking which energy drink from the store was the cheapest. Jose grabbed his personal bottle and scooped me a serving his own pre-workout instead, and I've only met him 3 times thus far. Good gym. Have everything you need for a full body workout. Offer group fitness and les mills. Didn't see a pool but there was a sauna in the locker room and hydromassage chairs. Locations in convenient. Can see St. Louis Cardinals outfield from the second floor. People don't have to be smart but they really don't care if you are there to workout.

Got a one day pass. Facility is nice, but many things are dirty or broken. The equipment wasn't put back properly, and there were 4 staff members just sitting on their phones scrolling. The provided product in the showers is garbage.

Refusal of the advertised 7-day free pass. If you are not local to the area, you are denied the pass. Working temporarily near this gym? Does not matter, license must reflect the state of Missouri. This gym only wants customers whom will buy memberships that is ONLY local. Poor business strategys.

Since Genesis bought the place, they seem content to just let everything fall apart. Half of the paper products are out at any one time. Three of the four upright bikes are broken and only one of them is marked out of order. The prowler sleds are going to fall apart if they don't tighten a bolt. The old owner was constantly cleaning. I never see them cleaning here. If a light or a clock is broken, they'll take months to fix it. It's not worth whatever they're currently charging.

The equipment in the gym is nice, but I did not have a good experience with anything else. I joined because I saw they offered multiple fitness classes, which was exactly what I was looking for. Come to find out, the fitness classes that they have on their website to sign up for aren’t all operating classes. More than once I had made a trip to the gym after work to go to a fitness class I signed up for just to be told the they no longer offer that class, even though it’s still available to sign up for on their website. In a separate instance, I tried taking advantage of their personal training sessions they offer to all new members. I was left waiting for my instructor over 20 minutes past my scheduled time for the session to start. We didn’t train at all during that session. All he did was have me do a couple exercises to see where I was at to offer me their personal training packages that were hundreds of dollars a month. My final straw and the reason I decided to write this review was when I tried to cancel my membership at the beginning of March. I called asking to cancel and was told I need to come in for that. I work on the weekdays and was told I could only come when a manager was there to cancel. I finally was able to make it after work one day and as I was canceling they told me I was not only going to be billed for this month, but I will also be billed for April too. When asking about it and telling them I called a few days prior, I was told there was nothing they could do and that they were still going to have to charge me for April despite everything. I tried to talk to someone about the issues through the “contact us” link on their website and nobody ever contacted me. Their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. I do not recommend this gym to anybody. They do not care about their members at all.

Awesome facility. Beautiful views. Bad company. If you could make the new company half as good as the staff, the gym would be great. Ever since the change of hands tons of good people (staff and members) left. That doesn't happen on accident. From equipment not getting fixed to windows not being repaired to way more parking issues, its all frustrating. Best gym downtown still, especially outside of Cardinals season. But room for improvement. Edit: a manager followed up and its awesome they take the time for that. Parking issues and company issues aside, the location is what people go for.

Been coming here off and on for a few years. Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of room and equipment for whatever workout you're doing.

Don’t try getting a membership here. General manger will charge you a day pass just to even look inside. $25 btw. Or a month membership which is $75 a month. Place is a joke.

Great gym! Jason the manager and the staff are super helpful. Brought some friends to workout with me and the staff helped them with no issues. Location is amazing. Parking: Even with baseball games I was able to find parking in the garage.

I bought a single-day gym pass and was impressed by the spotless facility and appealing aesthetics. The atmosphere was fantastic, and Mamadou, a remarkably friendly and informative staff member, went the extra mile. He ensured I had clean towels, and explained the layout. I'll certainly return when I'm back in town.

I love this gym. We travel a bit and can usually find another Genesis to workout at. The sauna and classes are a great way to hit the gym and then a cardinals game or see some friends downtown.

I've been a member at Genesis for a couple years now and have always been happy with the gym. The facility is clean and spacious with every type of machine or free weight you might want. There's also a great turf area for sled pushes and other free movement exercises. I've also worked with a personal trainer there - Ian - who is fantastic! Would definitely recommend Genesis whether you work downtown or not.

If I could give this place a 10/10 it still wouldn’t be enough. To start off with the facility, the Staff, the location and the equipment is chefs kiss perfect. From the get go Pompii was friendly and assisted me with getting my visits set up and getting things started for me. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. The facility is spotless and offers numerous options for people of all experiences and expertise to use. From free weights and cardio equipment to saunas and classes it has it all. You can’t ask for more!

In from out of town and they wanted to charge additional fees to use the gym. Genesis continues to be a dishonest and exploitative organization. There are cheaper options that can do the same thing for you without the headache.

Just a genuinely great gym. I'm from out of town and stopped in for a workout ($25), so I cannot speak to the membership cost and experience but everything else is very high quality. Gym is very spacious, has fantastic equipment with an open and airy layout. Locker rooms maintain the high level of cleanliness and open space that the gym excels in. Can't wait to return.

Love this gym! It has big, floor-to-ceiling windows that bring so much natural light into the space! It always puts me in a good mood to be in a clean and refreshing environment when I work out, and Genesis is exactly that! Group classes, sauna, gated parking, and hydro massage chairs are all included in membership cost, which is really convenient. The views and the location are amazing and all of the equipment is incredibly high quality. Definitely recommend!

This gym would have been a great fit for me if I was not pressured to sign up for a Membership from The time I walked in , I was told I was required to take a tour of the facility in order to work out with my friend as a guest . They also told me if I did not sign up that day it would be a 200$ fee to sign up which has never been true . This really disappointed me because the gym itself sells customers . I already wanted a membership the minute I walked in but he definitely talked me out of it by trying to force something that was already going to happen . Huge red flag . Staffing needs an upgraded . Breathe taking facility.
