I had never been a gym regular until i joined Genesis a few years ago. When my first trainer Hannah left Genesis I was doubtful I would find another trainer who would help me keep up the weekly routine i had come to enjoy. I shouldn’t have feared however, she left me in great hands with Kendra who I have been training with for over a year now. Kendra’s humor & energy make training something I value as part of my weekly workout routine. Even as my gym use comes and goes throughout the year I know I can count on Kendra to keep me motivated to keep coming back each week. I feel functionally stronger at 40 than I have in any of the previous decades of my life & am thankful for my training sessions that help provide balance to the outdoor activities i love (hopefully for many decades more!)

I have been a member at Genesis for 2 years now. I love that they have childcare and the gym is always clean, but the biggest reason I’ve stayed with Genesis is my trainer, Kendra. She has helped me with strength training and fat loss after having 2 babies. She never pushes me past my limit but pushes me just enough. I feel a lot more confident to go workout by myself and I love that Kendra holds me accountable. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients and it’s very clear that she is passionate about helping people reach their goals.

I have been a member of Genesis for almost 2 years now and absolutely love it. The people there are amazing and welcoming. Their biggest asset is Kendra. Kendra has helped me with my nutrition and strength building goals. She has become not only an accountability partner but also a close friend. I now feel fitter, healthier, and stronger than I’ve ever felt before. Going to the gym is now enjoyable thanks to Kendra.

I was a thin 130lbs and I always wanted to be bigger and feel stronger. I tried to work out alone for so long and even following online videos and routines I got nowhere. It wasn’t until I started working out at Genesis and worked with a great trainer named Kendra that I started to see real results. The results filled me with motivation to keep going now working out is more of a hobby to me. Shot up to 210lbs putting on a lot of muscle.

Kendra is amazing! I worked with her for over a year and had amazing results. Not only is she a great trainer and extremely knowledgeable about both the gym and nutrition, but she is an amazing person as well! I’ve recommended her to everyone I know. 10/10 recommend!

Kendra is an exceptional personal trainer! She's not only incredibly sweet and supportive, but she's also a phenomenal motivator. What I appreciate most is her ability to push me beyond my perceived limits. She creates a positive and encouraging atmosphere while still demanding my best effort. The only reason I joined this gym was because of Kendra my trainer! She has such a vast knowledge of the human body and how to improve it! It’s the highlight of my week the hour I spend with Kendra! The gym should be thrilled to have such a knowledgeable ray of sunshine!!!

The worst! Parking lot was not plowed .. could barely make it in . Dirty all the time . Liberty deserves better. The big shot owner doesn’t care and it shows. Horrible in every way.

Austin specifically was very helpful whenever I had questions about anything workout and membership related. Overall the gym is a great atmosphere and has every lifting equipment you would need.

Don’t expect your car to be safe here and if/when it gets broken into or windows shot out they will tell you there is nothing can help you with as they aren’t responsible for what goes on in their own parking lot nor do they have cameras to monitor anyways. In to the gym itself? I have been going here for 2 years and still have yet to see any employee clean/wipe down a single piece of equipment.

Gym equipment is in desperate need to be refreshed/replaved. Curl machine one pin is missing. Machine row the grips are off and sticky. People need to wipe machine down after each use or a staff member should go around one hour or two and wipe the equipment, including the dumbbells, and barbells. Other than the gym equipment, staff is friendly. I go in without any issues and complete my workout. It's not bad, and not good. It's in the middle. If there is another big gym that opens up, it may cause some lost in members if it doesn't keep up.

Life was better when we had better options to choose from than just Genesis. Worse gym than golds, anytime, crunch, onelife, planet, LA Fitness. genesis care about money not its customers. All these different “levels” of Gyms is a joke.

I opened member ship for my son .They person was helping me said if I give my bank account to withdraw the monthly payment from I will be saving $7 each month.when they withdraw my first payment it was $42.40 . I called to ask what was going on the manager of the club said that this deal was for adults members ship . I Was never told that when I singed up . She knows my son was only 14. But she still explained the deal and made me sing up . They are lying to you so they can make get you to sign up for the membership . Hoping you have no choice and keeping it. I thought it was a good deal why not. But it’s not worth it . Josh the manager of the club was very very rude and he right away told me come and cancel your membership if you don’t like the price. So disappointing and disrespecting .They need to educate their workers batter not to teach them to lie to get people signed up. Be careful with this club. Think one star is even to much with they way this manger spoke to me.

You can tell that the trainers really care about the people they work with. The equipment works. Shocker. Also locker rooms have shower and saunas. No one is even comparable in this area.

I went in and cancelled my membership last month I was treated very rudely by that person. Then I just got billed for another month I'll have to go back once again and also dispute the card on my card. Do not recommend this place at all.

Update (2024): About 2 years later they changed their initial (highly inacurate) unprofessional response. I could never get a reasonable portion of value for the personal training we paid for, so that was a total waste of $$$$ and we did not appreciate the waste of our time and money for that unusable service. The later revised response by Jason was much more professional than the original inaccurate denial but no offer was ever made to make anything right regarding the money paid for inconsistent, unavailable service over the years so we finally just discontinued our membership (since 2017). It does sound like Jason was attempting to do much better than the previous managers but too late and too little to improve our experience. (2019) My experience has been that they oversell and under-deliver. Their turnover is so high that I could not get three personal trainer sessions scheduled with the same person AND more sessions were cancelled by their trainers than were kept. I could go on but apparently if you are real familiar with gyms you can do alright by yourself here.

Here at the Liberty club there is always a smiling face at the desk. The team members are friendly and always there to assist with anything. It is the same at all of the locations around the Liberty. Thanks for everything!

I love the personal trainers here!!! They really take there time and effort to make sure you like the workouts and enjoy them, and they really do work. I am a going into freshmen year and he already helped my squat Pr go to 325 to 335!!! And my deadlift PR was 325 and now it went up to 355!!! And let me Mind you I’ve only done 3 out of 4 lessons! These guys are game changers, 5 stars.
