I paid 3687$ to do keratin extension and one week after i was need to go to another salon to remove my extension because the K tip was too big and we can see all the extension. About my blond color my hair is all burn now I also did the keratin product to straigh my hair for nothing because all my natural hair is curly. I don't like complain but i just loose 3687$ for nothing . so I try but was no not working

Just have to say that DEREK IS A MAGICIAN. he COMPLETELY transformed my hair… it’s crazy how much your hair changes how you look. I feel so much more confident now and I just feel pretty :) for anyone considering getting their hair done they have to come here!! I got color and extensions and I in LOVE. Thank you guys for the amazing experience 😊

My experience with Derek and this salon was 5 STAR’s!!! I have been a blonde my entire life and wanted a change. Derek made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, and made me feel like he genuinely wanted the best for me and my hair. Leaving the salon after a drastic change and keeping a clients’ hair healthy should be a priority for all stylists, and it definitely is for PrettyGang! Everyone loves my new red/copper color, especially me :) !!! thank you Derek, Justin, and Cassey for your hard work!

Since I never got a call back after the second (fix up), I feel obligated to share my story here. This was my third time at this salon, and let me tell you I’ve never felt so ripped off. This place is certainly all about “BLOND HAIR AND BEYOND EXPENSIVE. It was the week of my birthday and I was going to a convention also, I come to this place to make sure my hair is at its best, I showed the first picture you see below and tell Marlyn (“ the colorist/stylist”) that I wanted my hair to look like that specially that Ciera has my color skin, I spent 5 hours to look like the second picture not to mentioned my hair was fried, never did a treatment and I had the worst blow out. She charged me $502.00 (and I have very short hair) and charged me for things she didn’t do, that was the worst part, (please always check your bill and ask what they are charging you for). I made a mistake and I didn’t ask. I had to call Justin the guy who is at the front of the business, and told him I was very disappointed. They offered me to come back the next day, on top of it all, I live 45 minutes away, this was becoming way more than just inconvenience for me at this point, but I needed my hair to look better, so I went back, I spoke to Marlyn again, (you know by now I have a very bad sour taste in my mouth about it all )… I had no other option but to trust the girl 🤦🏼‍♀️… again !!!! Marlyn you did not blend the dark base color very well, and you know it, the worst part is that you tried to hide it, but I can see the line you left, yes I’m talking directly to her, Very sad I had to write this review, I work very hard to make my money and there is nothing worst that to feel someone could have taken advantage of you and didn’t give you the results you were looking for… I wish Marlyn could have taken consideration what I told her, I didn’t want my hair to be so light, My hair looks nothing like the picture I showed (1st pic), I specifically said NO FULL BLOND, I ended up full head blond 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t know if she just wanted the $502.00 or she even cared what I was looking for… my hair is very frágil and I she left pink hair in the back of my head, it was overall the worst for how much i paid. The worst service/color you could have given me…. I will never be back.

I have to start by saying that I never do reviews but Derek and his team are absolutely the best!!! After a really bad experience with a different hair stylist several years ago. I put off my appointment with Derek for about 3 years in fear that I would have a similar experience. Until, I finally decided to give him a try. During our first appointment I explained to him what happened and my concerns. He took the time to listen and walked me through the whole process. He gradually got me to the exact color I had shown him and envisioned with no damage. What I love the most about Derek is that he truly cares about what he does and puts in his heart and soul into every client he does. He is an absolute true artist. Every time we retouch my color, he ALWAYS ceases to amaze me! My husband is absolutely obsessed with my hair, it’s been over a year already and he tells at least once a week just how much he loves my hair. I think it’s important to mention that there’s more to nice hair then just going to a really amazing hair stylist, and that would be hair maintenance. I highly recommend his prettygang hair product lines. I feel that they have played a huge roll in keeping my hair nice and healthy and that’s not even bringing into play how amazing it smells!

Highly, highly recommend Becca! Today was my second session with her, and it came as no surprise to me that the end result was more than perfect once again. Becca is extremely knowledgeable and professional, as well as patient and attentive. She is very informative with every step of the way towards reaching your desired hair goal. She worked on my hair for 7 hours and I felt relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I will most definitely be a returning customer :D

I went to this place expecting to receive the color I wanted! I ended up looking like I never had anything done to my hair! When I texted the man that sits in reception asking for a refund or a partial one at that I was told they don’t give refunds and I would have to speak to the stylist I said if she was going to redo my hair for free sure I would I WAS TOLD NO THAT I NEEDED TO SPEAK WITH HER! I WILL NOT ALLOW THESE PEOPLE TO STEAL ANOTHER $500 dollars from me for a job badly done WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE I BASICALLY WENT TO GENESIS HAIR BOUTIQUE TO BE ROBBED BECAUSE THATS WHAT TNEY DID THEY ROBBED ME! NOW I HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO HAVE MY HAIR COLOR CORRECTED AND GET THE LOOK I ASKED FOR ORIGINALLY! THIEVES!! Horrible experience EVERRR!!!

I've been going to genesis for almost a year only Bex does my hair. She is the only one I trust with my hair. She has a lot of knowledge on hair colors and styling. The products they sell are amazing my hair has grown so much and has never been healthier. Recommend this place 10/10 the quality of their work truly speaks for itself.

Omg I absolutely love my hair and this salon!!! Dereks hands are magic I never let anyone touch my hair but he gave me the best hair cut I've ever had, left me so much volume and body my ends were shot and I was so scared but he gave me a pretty new look without it being too much of a change, exactly what I wanted! He's also such a vibe, if you get the luxury of sitting in his chair and spending the day with him it's such a treat! He's hilarious will make you feel like you're at home in his salon along with his staff!

Where should I start, I’ve been coming to this salon for over 7 years ! And there’s no one else I trust with my BLONDE HAIR. Derek is the absolute best ! He is so talented, and professional and always leaves my hair looking so beautiful, and healthy. I’ve also tried different methods of hair extensions and he knows how to it all ! Got my hair done by Derek, the owner of the salon, I wanted a big dramatic change so he took me from super blonde to a natural copper red with blonde. When I tell you my hair looks and feels amazing, ummmm this is the prettiest and healthiest my hair has ever been. He was so quick, super nice and professional. I have been coming to the Salon for the past 10 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I came once my last stylist completely botched my hair and was in desperate need of saving. I’ve been coming to this salon for a little over 2 years now. I’ve experienced nothing but 5 star service all around. Every stylist in the salon is amazing. When I first came to the salon I came in with RED hair and got it stripped in just one session with no damage thanks to a Gillian! Worst experience ever! Would never recommended this salon ever. I came in for an appointment with Gillian for highlights. She seemed unsure of herself and would ask her coworkers if Derek had used toners when he does highlights. She started toning the bottom parts of my hair that weren’t highlighted and then realized it wasn’t coming out how she wanted so she stopped without saying anything. Once my hair was blowdried it looks good from the outside , However when I got home my sister checked my hair and saw many bleeds from the highlights all over the inside of my hair which gillian would’ve seen once she cut and blow dried my hair. There was also a big bleed on the top of my head that couldn’t be missed . It was everywhere so there’s no way she would’ve missed it and she never said anything after blow drying my hair . When I told her my hair was messed up all over she offered me to come back to have it fixed . Why would I ever go back to place who messed up my hair in the first place, to have it fixed. I told her I was not comfortable going back to her to fix my hair and asked for a refund. She told me that no refunds could be processed but the only option was for me to come in to have it fixed. I asked to speak to the owner Derek, Who called me and was not willing to process any refunds . All he cared about was getting the money and didn’t care at all about client satisfaction. I told him I refuse to go back to place who messed up my hair and that was an hour away. He was not willing to help me with refunding me my money. Worst customer service!

Speechless. Amazing Salon!! My stylist is Marlyn . Let me tell you!! She’s just amazing and has gold hands. Very talented. My hair was just a mess . Came with no appointment and she took me in . Very friendly and professional . Words can’t express how beautiful my hair looks and how wonderful the result came out. My hair was a mission impossible and she made it happen. They also have their own line of hair products. Plenty of parking spaces . If you’re only looking for the best then this is the place for you!
