Well, let me say this. If you want a silk press, NOPE. I received a silk press and no silk products.. No gloss, no products for ethnic hair. It was puffy by the time. SHE CAME TO MY JOB TO get her money because the reception in the shop is not good, and for whatever reason, she said it would be 30 mins for the payment to go through. MIND YOU I TOLD HER WHERE I WORK. Not for her to come up there a cause a seen. I stayed in contact with her, just so she could let me know after 30 mins. After telling me the paying didn't work, I responded that i would get it done. She proceeds to yell, saying I left without paying... HOW ABOUT YOU TOLD ME TO GO AND YOU WILL LET ME KNOW IN 30 MINS. I had every intention not to leave a review, but the more i think about it, I had to say something. She also did not clean her comb and brush, which had my color in it, She said,'The next wet head will get it out. There was another lady there who was nice and had such good topics to talk about. NICOLE, I GUESS THAY ARE GOOD WITH COLOR. ETHIC HAIR NO. FLAT IRON SKILLS ARE NOT THE BEST. AND MISS MATCH PRODUCTS. O and can I point out she brought her girlfriend (who ended up being nice with her) only to cause a scene. LEFT WITHOUT PAYING SMH. SHE LIED.... AND HER CHAIR HAD HAIR IN IT FROM THE DAY BEFORE. I am pretty sure she will get up here and play the blame game, which I have noticed with others. However, every day is a new one and a chance not to make the same mistakes twice. Good energy brings good people. The universe brings you growth and knowledge. Learn and grow. The one star is because of the wonderful lady who was in there with them.

This is now named Pop Rocket! I love my hair cut so so much! I asked Sherry (I hope I’m spelling it right) for specific requests as she cut my hair (like, I hate when my bangs swoop towards my face) and she knew exactly how to make fixes, which I have found is not always true of the person cutting my hair! My hair looks so good, the shop is such a lovely experience, everyone is so friendly, and I’m so happy I found it!

Julia is a gem. I was set in my ways, but she gently persuaded my to try something new, and with a little modification, found a style for me I'm very happy with.

This salon is so quaint and provides excellent individual attention. You will absolutely love having your hair done by some real experts and chit chatting with the staff and other customers.

After moving to Stl it took me almost 2 years to find someone who understood my hair and that someone was Sophia at George's. My husband, pickier than I am, has Sophia cut his hair too. The atmosphere is also the best. Very quiet, trendy, citified Stl on Cherokee.
