This is an amazing place if u want to get ur hair done. My mom goes here and I just got my twists done. They have been in for about a month now and still look good. I recommend this place 100% if u need anything done.

I have been coming to see Gigi since 2021. My real hair was very short and too dark when I first came to her. After getting her sew-in extensions every 2 months, my hair is now 16” long. She was born with a gift to do hair! I have problem hair and she understands it. I won’t go anywhere else. I have been to many others in town who do extensions but her sew-in technique works best for me and her color integration is very impressive. She listens and will be fully honest with you! She’s got a supersonic personality too! She has a nice, clean pleasant salon too where I feel very confortable!

I have been getting my hair done by Aisha for almost 15 years and I refuse to go to anyone else in San Diego. Over the years I've gotten twists, braids and weave from her and always leave completely satisfied and looking great. When I went away for college, I literally would fly back to San Diego just so she could do my hair. I cannot recommend her enough!

I was very happy with G.G. boutique hair services. She and her co-stylist were very friendly and helpful. I have hair loss and they were able to provide me with a style of braids that provided coverage and would help my hair to grow. It is great to find a braider that actually cares about the health of your natural hair. I also had great conversation in the salon that made me relaxed and feel right at home. It was nice to come to a place where you are validated and supported as a black woman. I would definitely recommed her services to anyone looking for great quality hair services in San Diego.

This was my first time getting my hair braided. GG was kind and friendly and she has skills. I got 5 cornrows with feed-ins. I have mid length straight black hair. GG was really fast to work on me. I’m happy how my hair came out. Affordable prices too.

WE HAVE A WINNER !!! GiGi is a true artist. Here is my in depth review after 2 visits to this cuuuute salon :, one on a weekday and 1 on a Saturday. ZERO DRAMA. I have been to prior salons where I sit and have to listen to gossip and bad attitudes. Not here - there is nothing but music and GiGi"s infectious laugh. The space is calm and clean and not intimidating. She is in the middle of a remodel and it will be a girls beauty playground! My services- I have a sew in weave with my hair ( gray! ) dyed to match. I am out of this salon, styled and ready to hit the town in half the time that other salons have done my hair. My edges are intact. I have no tight bald spots or pulling. I am not sweating and have a hot scalp. I am not judged because I am mixed. I have seen all kinds of races and hair types here , and everyone has been treated fairly and PRICED fairly!. Samantha the braider is a gentle kind patient young lady that I watched do a painless hair braid down on a beautiful little girl who had a bad experience at another shop. Moms/ dads with little girls - You can TRUST this place to take care of styling and braiding and not making you feel inadequate! Back to my hair- the hair is QUALITY- matches my desired texture perfectly, and is UNDETECTABLE even when up in a bun. My son thought my hair grew nearly 12 inches and he was so confused that he hadn't noticed and thought I took a supplement. The pricing is fair, and the product is worth it. GiGis uses a great booking app with clear upfront pricing. Very professional. I am driving from North County forever now. this is WORTH IT.

What a great service! My 7 year old daughter just got her hair braided and she is so happy and excited to show it to her friends. Gigi the owner is exceptionally gifted and so good with everyone, adults and kids. The studio is so nice and clean, super welcoming . Gigi gave ma also a lot of tips on how to deal at home with my daughter's hair. We already booked our next appointment in a couple of months! Highly recommended!

I was searching for a stylist to do twists and had some bad experiences in the past. I found GG's Hair Boutique online and have never looked back. GG & Samantha are amazing! I highly recommend GG, she's quick, efficient, knowledgeable and a very personable stylist/salon owner! GG, along with her staff provides a wide array of services right in Mira Mesa’s backyard! I just got basic corn rolls, with added hair that go to the mid of my back, no headache, and I was home in 8 mins! Best braid service I’ve ever had in San Diego!

I moved to San Diego years ago and was never able to find a good hairstylist that knew how to handle my hair the way I like it, until I met GG. Life changing!!! I remember the first time I reached out, she took the time to answer every question I had! She is incredibly skilled, efficient, knows her craft and is so sweet! It was my first time going to GG she was very sweet, I had question about how to maintain my hair and she was very helpful and gave lots of tips on how I can manage and keep my hair healthy. I got knotless braids and I absolutely loved them. Definitely going to come back if I need my hair done. I recommend her if you are struggling with maintaining your hair.

Absolutely the most amazing experience I ever had. Instead of 4 1/2 hours it was 2. She was so fast but did the most amazing job I’ve seen. She’s talented and knows exactly what she’s doing and takes really good care of you. I barely flinched but the braids were still tight. And she holds really good conversation. We shared many laughs. I highly recommend. I’ll be going to her every time I get my hair done.

So I called and first of all could barely get a sentence out as the lady would quickly interrupt me. Listen there are plenty of people to give your money too, if they seem too damn busy right off the bat to allow you to finish a sentence, that’s a good indicator of customer service. Th lady then asks me what texture hair I have, no problem. Before I could answer, she then interrupts again with “are you African American?” I hung up. There is way too much competition to deal with BS like this. You’ve been warned. To each his own. To the lady who replied, of course you don’t remember because was over a year ago. You can’t really think that someone actually wants to sit here and use their time to write a fake review. My recollection is my experience. Maybe YOU don’t use the phrase African American but whomever answered the phone did that day. Please do not come here trying to discredit a valid review. Your service sucks, deal with it and learn from it lady.
