Tamara was patient, knowledgable, thoughtful in planning the cut and overall approach to my hair. I have never had anyone bring this level and quality of attention and care. AND I love my hair cut!!

I have dreaded going to the salon my entire life and I can honestly say, after my hair coloring session with Stina today, I no longer abhor the experience. Stina was not only a lovely, warm presence, but her coloring skills are THE BEST. Quite possibly the most natural highlight/balayage I've ever had.

Beautifully curated salon tucked in a quaint location - very accessible! Summer did a wonderful job on my blonde hair (and head massage and blowout). Fun, friendly vibes - very welcoming. They offer silent appointments as well which was a nice way to experience a spa like experience! Can’t wait for my next appt!

All Ginger and Maude locations are so fun! The decor and vibes are all a bit different but all are quirky- in the best way. I found May Sanchez at Multnomah Village and so glad I did—she is amazing. She does the absolute best cut for my hair, and it grows out perfectly.

Been visiting this solan for 2 years. I only visit for hair cuts (I have never dyed my hair) and I love visiting every 4-6 months. I have had 2 visits with Syd and it was been great!! I have been working on having my natural air dried hair shine and growing out a bob. She really gets the vision.

Sofiya was excellent in all ways, she was easy to talk to, and knew how to handle long, thick, straight hair. Everything about my trip to Ginger & Made was comfy and professional but still warm and friendly everyone in the salon was super helpful and personable, the salon itself was clean and easy to access. I’ll be a regular from now on, thank you so much!

First time getting my haircut that I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of from the work done to the interactions with the stylist. I moved up here from Pasadena 7 years ago and have finally found a place that does what I need without compromise and while feeling like the stylist also enjoyed the time working! Will be a repeat customer.

Delaney was lovely and very helpful. She made my first experience with dyed and style hair wonderful. It was a long process for me but it went by so fast with her company. Great atmosphere, too!! Photo of hair and an artist rendition of the place for fun :) I needed my hair done for an upcoming cosplay and they worked me with the pictures of the character and it looks perfect for what I need.

I’ve been coming to Ginger and Maude for 3 years now. Before finding them I didn’t trust going to a salon to have my coarse curly hair cut for many years, but G&M knows curly hair. I’ve seen different hair dressers at the the Slabtown and Multnomah Village locations and I’ve always walked away very happy. It’s hard to find someone who can cut curly hair well but I trust anyone here to give me a great cut.

This place is great! Delaney was fantastic and so knowledgeable! After a strand test we decided that bleach just wasn’t going to work on my hair (my fault for using Sun In), and I’m so so so glad to have found that out before trying to bleach all of it. I really appreciated the time, honesty, and attention to detail. While I didn’t get the mushroom blonde hair of my dreams, I got a fabulous haircut. 10/10
