My daughter and I get cuts from Wendy and we always love them. All the stylists are super fun and they all collaborate/consult each other so you feel like you are getting multiple experts! The salon has a wonderful energy.

I love the space at Ginger Rubio Salon. The artwork on the walls, happy plants and natural light create a lovely experience. Parking, for me, has been pretty easy in the neighborhood on the weekends. I see Tony Barbuto for haircuts. I love how he cuts & styles my hair, as well as the fact that he's really engaging about interesting topics and always runs on time.

Highly recommend Heather Caruso. I've been going to her for years. Amazing attention to detail, and she really works with you to make sure you get the cut you want. Can't recommend her enough!!

I see Tony at Ginger Rubio Salon and have always had a fantastic experience. I've been in the process of growing my hair long since a very short hair cut right before the pandemic. Tony is a wonderful hair stylist. I only get a cut/style, no processing, but he's able to really give my very full head of hair a nice shape and dimension. I've been getting compliments all week after my last hair cut. He's always punctual and love his detailed communications & reminders before appts. The salon has a lovely open feel, lots of plants, great artwork and lots of natural light. I've always had good luck with parking, given it's in the mission. Highly recommend.

It pains me to write this. The men here are extremely hostile towards women. There’s enormous misplaced anger toward women, and a disgust toward pregnancy, motherhood and the feminine. I didn’t realize it until after a few appts and I felt heavy hearted, tearful and hurt. Their views are emotionally violent, and were sadly damaging to me to be around.

I love Ginger Rubio! I have been getting my hair cut here since it opened. Mr. Anthony is a master of hair. He's an expert at color styles, tell him what you want and he will give feedback and make it happen. He knows how to make you look fabulous. I asked on a local FB group about a men's barber/stylist skilled with cutting curly hair and Parker was named. From the first cut I knew I found my guy. I particularly appreciate the time he takes. His pacing is relaxed, he's funny, not to mention his great taste is film. All that aside, I'm grateful to have found him. With curly hair, I have a particular way I want it cut (longer on top and short everywhere else) and Parker nails is every time.

Melissa Arambula has been cutting my hair for over 2 years now and I swear I've always left there feeling like a new woman. Even though her specialty is curly hair, which she also handles flawlessly, I recommend her to all my friends of ANY hair texture because she truly is a dream maker. The last 2 years have really been my hottest, all thanks to Meliss'. ALSO, if you're lucky enough to go when Anthony's pupper is there, you're in for the cutest cuddliest treat 💕💕💕

Melissa didn't took any time and effort. Was only talking to colleagues. In the end, I said, I would like the haircut, to which she replied "yes that will work". After 20min we were finished and she smiled for a tip. Had been there before, which was great, but I will not pay 70$ to them again after I got an average haircut and feel insulted. She didn't even seem like she had a bad day.
