I had the most wonderful experience here, I got the heaven and earth facial and the difference in my skin and appearance of my face was amazing, I was so happy. It was truly a 5 star experience. I went to GingerChi for the Heaven/Earth Guasha because my face was feeling really puffy and tense. The entire experience was so soothing and relaxing, and by the end my face was so much more lifted! The owner at GingerChi is so kind and knowledgeable. She explained the products used, what they were made of, and the benefits for skin and chi. She also gave me some free samples for my specific skin issues which was nice. I’ll definitely be back :)

Really great experience at GingerChi. With the heaven on earth guasha, my face felt noticeably rejuvenated and less puffy after. It was also very calming and relaxing to my mind and body. Anna is super kind and thoughtful. She took special attention to my jaw which I mentioned was where I hold tension.

I had the most amazing guasha facial with Anna! She was very thorough and patient and explained the techniques and what she'll be doing. It was so relaxing I fell asleep on the table until the end! My face was noticeably glowing and less puffy than before I went in. Would definitely return

I had one of the best facials ever! Every step of the facial was so soothing, not only did my skin looks great afterward, I also felt really relaxed yet energized at the same time! Ana the owner was very caring and passionate about skincare and it was such a pleasure to hear her explain the benefits of the steps, tools and products used for the facial. She did not push for any add on treatment or product purchases either which I find some places do which ruin the experience. She did give me a generous number of samples to try! which I really appreciate! I can't wait to go back! Apparently, you cannot leave separate google review for the same place/service. I went back to Gingerchi for the 3rd time and it was as amazing as the first time! If I have the time and resource, I would go every week!

I went for a 90-minute Heaven & Earth Gua Sha facial after reading the reviews online, and Anna/GingerChi did not disappoint. The facial was incredible! Anna is so kind, thoughtful, and truly knows her stuff. I've been using samples of her products for the past week, and my skin is still glowing! I've basically switched over to her products for my daily skincare regimen. The facial itself was extremely relaxing, including using tools/techniques I'd never experienced before, like the hot stones/discs on my face. Needless to say, Anna you'll be seeing me again soon!

GingerChi is amazing. Anna is knowledgeable and kind. The spa is very serene; making me feel safe and at ease. I had the Heaven/Earth Guasha which was one of the most relaxing facials I've ever had. She talks you through the different steps and describes the products being used (all natural and made in-house). I loved how we went from hot to cold and back to hot - it felt really balanced. I left the spa feeling more calm and grounded. Can't wait to go back!

Great service for my mom. She had a neck and shoulder pain and headaches for a month. Taking a flight here made it even worse. Acupuncture, cupping and gu-sha fixed my mom in 2 sessions. Dr.Mary is wonderful— patient, caring and attentive. My original acupuncture doctor was on vacation and Gingerchi was a recommendation by a friend. Loved it! Great team. We’ll be back.

Gingerchi is amazing! I booked not really knowing what to expect, but this has become a go to spot for me. Anna was very knowledgeable and really cares about her clients. Ran into this place randomly and was lucky enough to get in as a walk in. Very cute and cozy, the Gua Sha facial was the best experience left my skin glowing, de-puffed and radiant! I walked out on cloud 9 super relaxing. I plan on going back monthly 🥰

Had a fabulous Gua Sha facial at GingerChi! Anna was incredibly welcoming and such a joy to talk to. The facial was a unique experience and I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Plus, it's great that they make their own products, and Anna put together a lovely goodie bag of samples for me to take home!

Had the most amazing experience getting my first gua sha facial! Anna was so sweet and lovely and made me feel so relaxed that I almost fell completely asleep! My face was glowing after and I felt so clean. I loved the smell of all the products she used and felt that they were natural and good for my skin. I would definitely come back again!

Amazing place! Just went in to buy a gua sha and comb and Ana was so helpful and kind. She had recommendations for what I was looking for and gave me helpful advice and a free sample of face oil. Very welcoming and wonderful vibe overall, they also served me some delicious tea!

Found Anna and gingerChi through a quick google search and am so happy I did. Anna and her shop is a gem in Chinatown and the gua sha facial was so good. I usually don’t feel a difference from facials but Anna’s products and tools made a difference. If you’re looking for a great facial with quality products, try this place!

I found GingerChi's Heaven & Earth Gua Sha facial through a Google search for "best facials in NYC" and it absolutely did not disappoint! Anna welcomed me into the space with such warmth and kindness. We immediately connected over great conversations. She explained the procedure every step of the way and my face was truly transformed afterwards. We didn't think of doing before/after photos, but an hour and a half with Anna definitely made a huge difference to my face. I felt like a work of art! Or a sculpture even. :) The products used during the facial smelled great and worked wonders--to the point where my skin does not work with other products since (especially those that have harsh or toxic ingredients.) I'm also more aware of how my skin reacts to different products now. I bought a beautiful jade gua sha right after, as well as the oil cleanser. I received a gift bag with samples of all the products used during the procedure and have been using them to the last drop. I am also shopping GingerChi goodies now for my friends outside of NYC because I can not stop raving about this place! I'm due for my second 1.5 hour facial this week and I really can't wait! The energy in the space and Anna's care for what she does is healing and unique. It has changed the way I take care of my face and myself in general. I've only had two other facial treatments in my lifetime and hope to treat myself more often with GingerChi. Thank you, Anna!

Incredible experience at GingerChi spa! Anna and Amy were both so kind and attentive. I had acupressure and gua sha done on the face and body and as someone who has had her fair share of massages, I never felt more relaxed leaving a massage than I did this one. I cannot say enough good things! I’ll definitely be coming back for a facial!!

I had never had a facial before (was so scared of them because of teen acne trauma and doctors poking and prodding me) but GingerChi has cured me of my fear! Such a wonderful, lovely, and calming place, with knowledgeable and caring practitioners. I feel pretty and glowing when I emerge, and that’s a rare thing. I encourage everybody to make this place part of their wellness routine! It heals on the surface, but well below the surface too ♥️
