I got my haircut from Christina Lee and she was such a warm person, loved the haircut she gave me, would go back to her for sure for all my hair needs. Highly recommend. (ps: I have curly hair, she knows everything about it too)

I have been a client of Claudio and his staff for over 20 years. Their professionalism and true knowledge of hair is beyond compare. Most of the core staff that opened the salon are still here. They feel almost like family at this point. :)

I’ve been going to Gioia since high school and refuse to go anywhere else. Alesso usually cut, styles and colors my hair and he consistently pushes me to try a style that suits my face. I have never left the salon disappointed. The whole team is phenomenal and I will wholeheartedly recommend them forever.

I recently celebrated a milestone birthday that reminded how I came to be a client at Gioia 20 years ago! It’s a great salon! The same lovely, professional people have been there for those 20 years. That’s what truly makes it a great place. You feel the camaraderie. You feel welcome. They care about each other and they care about their profession by staying current with industry innovations and trends, but are tuned in to their individual client. Alessio has been my stylist and colorist and he is so talented and has given me so many different fun looks that I always receive many compliments and he makes it easy for me to work with my hair at home, too, with a great cut and the right products! I can’t say enough good things about Alessio and Christina Lee and all the great folks at Gioia!

Love this place!!! I’ve been going there for around 20 years!!! Alessio is a miracle worker and makes this 75-year-old look younger than her years!!! I am there every month for what I call my “fountain of youth” treatment!!! He is truly an artist and a master at what he does!!! No one else knows my hair quite as well as he does. (Well, after all of these years I would hope so…LOL!!!) That said, the other stylists are all very good too. They are very friendly and personable and make me feel right at home each time I go there. I tell Alessio if he ever moves back to Italy, I will be moving there too!!!

First time visiting the saloon and I absolutely loved it ! Very friendly staff , accommodating and willing to achieve desired goal. The saloon is very clean and cozy. I happened to be in the shopping center where Gioia is located and when I saw the Kerastase products in the window I had to step. They were able to take me as a walk-in and Enna (sp? pronounced ē-na) was able to wash & cut my hair. I'm so grateful to have stopped in because the cut was fabulous! Emma was very comfortable & skilled with the Wahl shaver, and texturized my short-do with cuttings, not texturizing scissors; she did and amazing job. I live 3 hours from the salon, but will gladly travel to Dallas monthly for my cut & color from now on. Salon prices are average, $75 for short hair. This is a great find! If you need a stylist, you won't go wrong with Gioia!

Fully professional services with human touch! I had been to the salon twice in the last three months of my stay in Dallas, hair care by Christine was pure ❤️ Especially like the Italian connection of the salon. The lady at the reception was caring and thoroughly professional, arranged for my appointment in a jiffy. Keep up the ‘service with warmth’ motto alive!
