I came in to get a full foil. Charbel did an excellent job. He has cut my hair in the past, but never has done my highlights. They turned out so amazing. I have a friend who’s been coming to him for highlights for the longest time and she was correct about how good they are. I would def recommend!!

My haircut turned out fabulous! I got my hair washed, blow dried, and cut with perfect layers and curtain bangs all done in about 30 minutes- amazing! My hair has never looked so nice :)

These guys are amazing. If you wanna get your hair done in any type of way come here. They will not only give you exactly what you want but they will make it even better. They managed to give me an amazing perm even though I had short hair. I have nothing bad to say about these guys. Greatest in the town. May be a little expensive for some people but to be honest in my opinion their prices are fair and honest. Please give this salon a try. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Giovanni gave me the worst haircut i've ever had. I reminded him.I wanted it short but short likes the last cut he gave me. Instead, he just kept cutting and cutting until.I got a short man's haircut. I look horrible and we'll look this way for the next four months as it will take so long to grow out.

Diane was amazing! I shared my last experience of another salon that left me in tears! She reassured me that I was in good hands & I was. Diane gave me THE BEST HAIR CUT I've had since relocating to Boston. I left leaving her chair more confident and with some care tips to try at home. Overall great experience, Before I left I scheduled my next appointment for a "dust off the ends" as she called it! Thank you for making my day. I cant wait to go back.

Love this salon! I have been coming here since September and am beyond thrilled every time. I am a platinum blond and this shade is not easy to achieve. Not only have I worked in top notch salons in Boston, but was in the fashion industry for years. My stylist moved and it was not easy to find someone to handle my shade. Giovanni is a pro. He takes the time not to damage my fine hair and the shade is beautiful. I watch him with his clients and he is a true pro. You can tell he has knowledge on every type of hair and style. I do not worry when I’m in his care. Everyone there is so kind and hardworking.

Everyone working there was polite and nice. The work was done quickly and the end product looks good. However I feel like they could’ve taken some more time in understanding my specifications. I asked to get subtle burgundy color balayage/partial balayage (whichever is subtle, not sure what it is called) in my naturally black hair. In the end, there is a lot more burgandy than I wanted. Edit: I did get a lot of compliments though :)

Giovanni Hair Design always does amazing things with my hair!! I’m confident knowing that I can walk in with dull colored hair and walk out feeling vibrant again! This time I went from lavender/blue to orange and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!! The team is of course very nice, welcoming, and skilled, thank you for everything!

Giovanni did an amazing job with my hair!! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he told me exactly what I needed to get that look. He was very thorough and didn’t cut any corners. He checked on my hair several times and would leave the product in for longer if needed and I really appreciate that he didn’t rush anything. He was clearly very experienced and I would highly recommend him to anyone! The salon itself was very nice as well. The staff were very friendly and I appreciated the free coffee and massage chair. I was also able to get my eyebrows threaded while getting my hair done so it was nice to get two things done at once

Just wanted to share my experience at this hair salon in Brookline. I had scheduled haircuts for my 5-year-old twins at 11 am, but when we arrived, we found all the staff just sitting around and no one was available to help my daughters. It was such a disappointing visit that we ended up leaving. I just wanted to warn you all and advise against going to this hair salon. They lost three potential customers because of their lack of service.

My go-to place for haircuts and blowdrys! Both Giovanni and his fellow hair sytlist have incredible skill when it comes to listening to what the client wants, and delivering on that! I have always recieved massive compliments everytime I get a haircut/blowdry from there. I did not have to go for a third-party discount group as their prices for haircuts are fair, and one can recieve good discounts, so I'd suggest paying with cash/card directly.

I want to share my experience with you because I had difficult time to find right place to do my hair and I thought my review could help someone else. I have really big dry hair (African) I used many salons and paid a lot of money but didn't achieve what I am looking for. A few days a go I was walking on harvard street I saw the sign for Giovanni hair design and I met the Giovanni he is very friendly and he listened to issues and suggested to do hair treatment (mask), steamed my hair and I did hair cut too I really loved it it did moisturized my hair deeply I’ll recommend this place for everyone who struggle to manage their hair. I am planning to do this mask regularly in this salon.
