It takes a while to find a great hair stylist that genuinely cares about your hair. I have been going to Skye for about 2 years now and am very satisfied! She is very reliable and knowledgeable about hair care. She never disappoints! From flexi rod sets to sew-ins, I trust her with my hair for life!

Mico was outstanding for my appointment. He greeted me cordially and was pleasant throughout my Medium Ponytail bun. I shared the style with pictures and he reproduced it perfectly. With short hair it was a work of art…. maintenance was easy . This review is late because of travel but l am booked for my next appointment. I highly recommend him!!

Diarra Dumornay was amazing! She has brought life back to my hair. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and amazing at her craft. I love my cut and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend her salon!

I booked a silk press the day before, Skye was able to take me before the shop opened. She was communicative, educational and welcoming throughout the process. I do believe she was rushing due to time and having another client walk in and that happens. If you have type 4 hair and require some tlc be mindful that she/salon may be stingy with product. She blow-dried my hair with no product/leave in conditioner and I had to request/heat protectant (she rubbed in very little). Im not sure if my not being a regular client made her limit the product and attention she wanted to give my hair. Checking out the stylist dropped the deep conditioner charge and said it was "complimentary". But based on the lack of product used and how rushed the service was in caring for my hair Im not sure how 80$ is an appropriate charge. I essentially paid for a shampoo, blow dry with no product, dry silk press and trim.The trim was okay.

So many red flags: - When I arrived on time, told me I should have called ahead when I already have an appointment at a specific time. - She asked me if I'm "tender-headed" and proceeded to be the most rough someone could ever be or has ever been with my hair. - Had soft, detangled hair before wash but my hair became HARD AS A ROCK DURING SALON CARE, even after she claimed she added a deep-moisture treatment during wash process. Despite split ends, my hair has NEVER IN MY LIFETIME been this hard (physically hard so while she was combing out my hair for silk press, you can hear my hair tearing from how harsh she's being with my hair. I suspect she used protein-treatment rather than moisture treatment or just didn't do it properly. I have fine hair and dry-scalp issues). Stylist blamed it on me being dehydrated that day, lmao. I consistently drink 64 oz per day except that day because I had hectic schedule to finalize plans. - She LITERALLY BURNED THE ENTIRE TOP PORTION OF MY SCALP WHILE IRONING MY HAIR (I had painful tingles for the remainder of the week and less painful but still sensitive for the next week). I don't understand why she did this to me because it was my 1st time here and I'm a reasonable person and I was never rude to her. One of the spots that she burned literally has no hair there (and I didn't have this prior to going to that salon). After being styled, she parted my hair in a way to prevent me from noticing this immediately. - Didn't know what parabens are in hair-care products, so she gave me the option to check the ingredients. I asked if I could carry my own shampoo/conditioner for future reference, so she directed my question to owner, but even though she said that was fine after asking what I would bring, she seemed offended. - The blow dryer attachment dropped on the floor several times and she didn't clean it prior to using again. I suspect she was using dirty brushes too. I glimpsed inside her styling drawer before she turned me away from that direction on the chair. -Took 4 hours to do my hair when this process should take no more than max 2-3 hours by a competent professional. - My hair smelled like a chemical concoction, especially when I washed out my hair 5 days after visiting salon (not adding other products besides scalp oil mixed with vit. E, almond and jojoba). Silk press ONLY LASTED 2 DAYS when it normally lasts 2 weeks for me. I get silk press done once per year. This time it was for a special occasion though. I saw the bad reviews in Google Reviews, but I figured that there may be extreme good and extreme bad with a few disappointed customers. After watching a YouTube video, I thought I would give it a chance since they were 1 of 2 salons (but they were closer in distance) that had appointments available within the next 4 business days throughout Charlotte that I could find, since I booked for an important event last minute. BUT NOW, I suspect the good reviews are by friends to hype up the salon. I will never ever use this salon again; I learned my lesson to book salon care well in-advance. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and figured and still gave her a $9 tip (I would usually give $20 or more) that maybe she's learning. Otherwise, she's simply incompetent and vindictive to do the things she was doing during my salon experience. The owner was there and saw this entire thing play out without intervening, so it goes to show you that this is how they operate overall. If you truly care for your hair health, please do not go here.

Have enough time ahead of you because they don't respect time. I had to wait for 40 min even if I had an appointment and their policy stipulate you, the customer, pays fees when you are late. They don't even allow you to wait inside, You have to wait for THEM standing outside in the cold. Thanks God they finally reimbursed my booking fees after a long arguing as, they ended up not doing my hair because I was with my daughter and they don't allow anyone else in their salon. The worst customer care experience.Generally when you set policies, you should be the first one to live up to them.

I had s silk press appointment at 10am today. I gave the stylist skye a call and was promptly greeted and started on my service. The salon is clean and comfortable. I was done by 11:40 which is amazing because sometimes stylist take longer than they say. Syke was gentle on my 4c hair and it came out exactly like I wanted! Not sure about these other reviews. I Highly recommend booking an appointment.

Absolutely love Diarra!! This was my first experience in a Charlotte salon and it won’t be my last. New customers require consultations which I LOVE because she genuinely cares about the health of your hair and not just styling it for the gram. Definitely recommend!

Arrived in the area of the salon about 15 min before my appointment which was scheduled for noon I didn’t see it at first so I called the salon and someone answers “Shakanna will call you when she’s ready.” I soon found out the owner was the one who answered the phone of her salon. Yikes. She then lets me speak to Shakanna who pushes my appointment time back 30min. Definitely will not return quality not worth the price. Unprofessional and amateur.

I booked my appointment online it was accepted and took my deposit, I made huge arrangements in my job, kids school & therapies then Simone Bebe cancel me , I was disappointed since my brothers wedding was the next day but I was okay emergencies happen anytime , so I called and called to reschedule finally I was able to get in touch with Bebe we rescheduled again I made arrangements all around my schedule and finding a babysitter and all the appointment was confirmed Again then a day before not even 24 hours they send me a text that they changed my time from 8 am they change it to 1 pm . I got so upset because I have to pick up my children from school at 4 pm that’s the reason I booked early and how she is going to change the time to whatever time fits her schedule smh . Then I send an email a voice mail and she text me apologizing… I mean what’s the point to book online Simone Bebe just made me waist my time my money and even change the routine from my special needs child … never again booking there

Listen, it has been quite some time ago since I have been to this salon but would go to get braids done by Bionnca (which she can slay some braids). I bought from the owner ages ago her healthy hair kit (full kit) and can I tell you that kit is lit . I just started really really using it a month ago and look how my natural hair has taken off. Honey… once I run out I will be running back for more. I would drive from raleigh to get braids done by Ms. Bebesimone. Diaria the owner’s healthy hair kit is life … buy it !! To get my natural hair in its most healthy state I simply cut it in an asymmetrical bob . I’m excited to see the regrowth by using her products-Naiomi Raleigh, NC

Literally the worse experience for hair blowout. Can’t speak for all the stylist there but the one who did my hair was money hungry. No longer supports black owned businesses because of them.

Shekanah is my stylist. She’s gotten my hair to grow so fast since starting with her in Oct 2020. I now bring my mom with me to get her hair back healthy. She definitely cares about her clients and educates as she goes.

Great service and professional! My hair always looks great when I leave and Diarra believes in healthy hair! Sew-ins, twists, etc. She offers a variety of services, including working with natural hair! I even got a twist out done with her! Definitely my favorite stylist!

I started going to this salon last year and I have been thoroughly pleased every single time since. I am natural and I never experience heat damage but my blowout is always ON POINT. Diarra is very professional and I could not be more impressed!
