I recently visited this salon and had a disappointing experience. The hairstylist who was assigned to me was Sylvia, she was unfriendly from the start. During the appointment, I received an important phone call and politely asked her if she could turn off the blow dryer for a moment so I could hear. Instead of accommodating my request, she rudely told me to "use my other ear" because she was blow drying one side of my hair. When I explained again that the call was urgent and asked her to stop the dryer for just a minute, she finally turned it off but walked away with visible annoyance. After the call, she resumed blow drying but didn’t even finish the job properly, my hair was still frizzy, and the roots were damp. She then told me I was “done,” leaving me feeling like she rushed through the service with no care for quality. I ended up speaking to the receptionist, who thankfully arranged for another stylist to fix my hair, but the whole experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I wouldn’t recommend this salon if you’re expecting professionalism and courtesy from their staff.

I’ve been coming to Gloss and having Cyrena cut my very natural curly hair for several years now. No one can cut my hair as well as she does! Perfectly shaping and working with my natural curl takes a skill not found with many stylists!

Prior to coming here today, I had never gotten my hair cut at an actual salon before. Last night, I attempted to cut bangs on myself and completely butchered my hair! Fortunately, Gloss Studio was able to fit me in and Sylvia transformed my hair! I've never been more happier with my hair before so I'm so happy with the quality of service and the overall vibes ✨️ of this place! Will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Serena at Gloss Hair Studio 4S Ranch, and I cannot recommend her enough! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile. She took the time to listen to my hair concerns about faded color and provided valuable insights on what type and tones of balayage would work best for my hair. She also shared useful tips on how to maintain and style my hair at home. I left the salon feeling refreshed and confident. I've received so many compliments on my new look and couldn't be happier with the results. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment with her!

I will book with Devyn from now on. I got a message early in the day that she was running behind and wanted to know if I could come in 30 mins later. I had to keep my scheduled time due to plans afterwards. She caught up through the day and was able to take me at my scheduled time (impressed, thankful). THEN she gave me the cut I've described and shown photos of to the last several stylists,,, and absolutely nailed it. And didn't take THAT much time to do it. And she's super friendly and super easy to talk to. None of the last 3 stylists have been able to deliver as Devyn did. Best to her, so glad to have found her!

Updated review: Editing to explain a few instances that have happened since my haircut. First off, want to say Serena and Diana are both amazing and would recommend them anytime! The customer service though is horrible. About a year ago, I scheduled an appointment for a blowout. I came in, someone started my blowout but needed to take over someone else’s appointment so another person finished my blowout. This person had no clue what she was doing, my hair turned out horrible, they still charged me and gave me a free hair oil as a “sorry” and I went home crying about how awful it looked. Fast forward a year later, I thought I’d give them another chance. I scheduled a blowout again and a few days before, I was trying to cancel because I didn’t want to leave upset again if something like that happened again. It was before the 48 hour cancellation policy. I called 4 times, left a voicemail, sent a text, and attempted to cancel online but conveniently enough, they don’t have an option to cancel online. So today, the day before my scheduled blowout, they texted me saying they can cancel but would have to charge me. I explained that I called 4 times and they said “we’re closed on Mondays as noted on our website” and are continuing with the cancellation fee. I’ve overall had a horrible experience here besides my haircut with Serena (who I’d highly recommend) and would just overall never recommend this salon to anyone. Previous review: Everyone was so kind. I had my haircut done by Serena and she was sooo sweet and did an amazing job! I'm in love with my hair. Overall such a great experience and I'll definitely keep coming back. Thank you so much!

I won't be returning to this salon again.. I booked an appointment for Friday on Wednesday evening. But the next day on Thursday, I found out about a teacher conference with my kids' teacher on Friday. So, I called to change the appointment. The front desk staff was very rude and said I'd be charged half the price because I called less than 48 hours before. I didn't know about this rule and asked if they could waive the fee this time. They still insisted on charging me. I think it's unfair, and the front desk should remind customers of the cancellation policy at the time of booking. Even though I like their hair service, I won't go back because of how the front desk treated me. It's not just about the charge; it's about how customers are treated, which affects the business a lot. The staff member was rude, unfriendly, and seemed like she didn't want to be there. The salon management should be careful about who they have at the front desk because it can really affect their business.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I pre-paid for some extensions and my appointment was at noon on Friday. I called at approximately 1040am on Wednesday to try to cancel the appointment. They said it was less than 48 hours which it isn't . I asked could they just reschedule as I found out yesterday I will need to start chemo and all of my hair is going to fall out. They said sorry but we are charging you anyways . Policy is policy . It wasn't even 48 hours . This is not only horrible customer service and a guaranteed way to loose a customer, but also robbery . I wanted to keep my hair coloring appointment, but only cancel the extensions . They told me it was all or nothing and still charged my bank accounts. Fraudulent on their part ,

The hairstylist I chose, AnnaMarie, was phenomenal, and an outgoing person :) 😁 she was diligent and patient whilst doing my hair (even though it went a bit longer than anticipated). Would definitely go again!!

A small friendly and conveniently locationed salon. Unfortunately the technician I had for a blowout gave me an impressive results that I felt I could have done at home on my own. I left with flat limp hair and a curl that did not last.

Asked for my hair to be curled with a 1/2 up 1/2 down style provided pics and got a French braid that looks like a child did, extremely un happy with my results, I could have do this on my own and had it look way better, will not be returning,

I came to Andrena with a bad bleach job from another stylist that left my hair discolored and patches of orange. Not only did Andrena fix the color and make it the platinum light blonde I wanted but she did it without damaging it. I was so pleased with the results of both the cut and the color. I will follow Andrena to the end of the Earth for all my hair needs!

I love the atmosphere at Gloss. From the moment you walk in, you are not only greeted by the receptionist, by the other stylist too!. Julie is OUTSTANDING!!! She listens to what you want to do, evaluates your hair, and then makes recommendations. I have never had a bad experience with Julie or any other stylist at Gloss!!! The owner has provided a relaxing place to wait, if needed, and refreshments are provided. Julie is knowledgeable about all types of hair treatments. After dealing with extraordinary stress and surgery, my hair was falling out and breaking. Julie worked to restore my hair, and it looks wonderful. I recommend Julie and any other stylist without reservation!!!
