This is not a negative review of the salon, but one of their new, very unprofessional hair stylists. Nicole is not ,as she says. Never tell her you're not happy, even though it was your own fault and not hers. After a few texts back and forth and a plan on how to fix something I caused, she preferred to cancel 2 days before the appt she set up to make the corrections. It took me 2 months to get the appt.This very unprofessional person texted me to say she canceled the appt. WHY?. Take her or leave her at your own risk.

Very nicely decorated and clean salon. All the stylists are friendly and seem knowledgeable and experienced. I have gone to Kirsten for several years and she is on time every time. Kirsten knows how to "cut to the curl" and that's perfect for me!

I contacted Kirsten, the owner, seeking an urgent appointment. It had been years since I last had a professional cut, color, or highlights, and I was eager for a change Despite Kirsten's busy schedule, she kindly referred me to Annie, another skilled stylist, who was able to accommodate me the following morning. It turned out to be an EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE! I shared my hair history with Annie, including my recent use of henna, and she skillfully incorporated color and highlights without hesitation. Annie not only listened to my preferences but also delivered a fun and refreshing new look. My hair has never looked healthier or happier! I wholeheartedly recommend Gloss Studio for their remarkably talented team. I'm committed to being a lifelong customer. Due to their popularity, I advise booking well in advance. Delighted with my transformation, I promptly scheduled an appointment for my daughter. Many thanks to Kirsten and Annie for their outstanding service!

Beautiful hair salon with art you can buy from local artists that rotates every 6 weeks or so. This salon used to be a house, then it was a tile store, then turned into a salon. The unique decor is historical to Tucsons style, featuring beautiful tile work from floor to ceiling. Great stylists using the best hair products by Eufora. Beautiful outdoor hair styling station and outdoor covered patio waiting area. Coffee and tea Station.

We are snowbirds, but have been coming to Tucson for several years. I still had not found a salon that I wanted to return to while here. I went to Annie yesterday for a cut, color and highlights. My hair looks amazing and I had fun visiting with her the whole time. I will be back! 😊

Debra Owens is a great stylist! If you have curly/wavy hair she is amazing! It was my first time getting a curly cut and I was nervous because straight cuts don’t look right on me with my hair type and not many hair stylists can do it, but she was great! She walked me through everything and asked questions to learn my hair routine, hair type, and future hair goals so she could give me the results I wanted and I love it! Definitely recommend

Had a hair emergency and Kirstin penciled me in immediately! First time in and I must say she really knows her stuff and the studio is super cute! I got some tips on how to keep my hair healthy and the cut I should have originally got in the first place. It’s so difficult finding a decent hairstylist and I definitely think I found mine!

I have always had an issue finding someone that could cut this curly hair until now. Kirstin Kiracofe was amazing and gave me a cut and style that I asked for. I even took my 15 year old daughter to her where she colored her hair and then later styling it for her first high school dance. Gloss studio is clean, with professional/relaxing atmosphere. This place is great. I've been seeing Debra for nearly 30 years (I'm a 91 baby, you do the math), and this is the best studio she's worked at so far! I'm a guy with really long hair, and Debra has helped me learn to maintain and sustain it. She and the crew also hosted my side of the family's hair and makeup, complete with a food and drink spread. This place is great for maintenance cuts, changing hairstyles, weddings proms — I, my sister, and my parents have a literal lifetime of experience with Debra to back that up. The rest of the crew is quite friendly, and assists each other. They all have their specialties, which complement quite nicely. Free coffee? Free water, beer, and wine? A patio to hang out on? That's all here too. And if you're extra nice, you might even walk out with a Euphora product sample! The aesthetic here is also nice. Real desert-Arizona feel with the clay tile floor, exposed wood beam ceiling, and general decor. Any rockhound types might enjoy the gems scattered about, like malachite bowls and dendritic agate hearts. Plus, if you're looking for a little something more than the regular trim, you can find other stuff for sale — products to help your hair, beauty tools, and decor — but be aware that the assortment changes based on what works and what doesn't. This was the first time I’ve been to Gloss studios with Kirstin. The place for me was well located and very cute and surprising open. Very charming . Other staff seemed very nice. Kirstin K has been cutting my hair for years and I honestly can’t say anything other than she’s the BEST. Hair always turns out amazing, not to mention, I never know what I want to do. Definitely check her out!

This salon has a lot of charm and really great stylists! I have been seeing Dave for 11 years. He is thoughtful, a great conversationalist and a lot of fun. He is wonderful with my very thick curly hair, which often leaves hair stylists overwhelmed. I have enough hair for 5 people and used to walk out with what I would describe as a "lamp shade". I am so grateful I found someone who can make me feel beautiful and special. I highly recommend Dave!!
