Sinan did a great job listening to the type of haircut I wanted and giving me exactly what I had in mind! I booked with him specifically because he has experience with hair that’s wavy and curly. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my new bangs. I look forward to getting my hair cut by him next time it needs trimmed!

I have found my hair stylist! Came in for a haircut and Sinan made impossible possible. I recently had a baby and had lost a lot of hair. It’s growing back slowly but my hair lacked volume and I really was desperate for some magic. I showed Sinan a picture of what I was hoping for my hair to look but I wasn’t sure if it was possible. He kindly reassured me that he can give me that kind of hair. I could tell he was a true master and his skill level was too notch. He was fast, confident and when he was done, I wanted to cry from happiness. I don’t remember last time my hair looked this good. On top of him being a master at his skill, he came across very kind and an awesome human being. I will definitely see him again. Go see Sinan, you won’t regret it. ❤️

I had to send my teenage child alone to her appointment due to a last-minute commitment, but she returned with a receipt far more expensive than expected. The root touch-up was charged higher than the price listed in the app, and they added a toner without asking my child. I was very satisfied with the service on our first visit, which is why I booked a second appointment, but this experience was deeply disappointing.

I recently had an appointment with Emilia, and she was absolutely amazing! She added highlights to my hair, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Emilia has an incredible talent for hair coloring—she expertly blended the highlights to complement my natural color and enhance my skin tone. The transformation was exactly the boost I needed, and I left feeling refreshed and confident. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and attentive stylist!☺️

Round of applause for Sinan Rafeh👏👏For years I’ve always wanted sliver hair. I’ve had a hairstylist cause my hair to fall out from over processing. A different hairstylist that wasn’t listening to me say I wanted sliver hair and would turn my hair into whatever color they wanted. Being too timid to complain about how unhappy I was with my hair, I would google search where to go in Oregon to get sliver hair- I could NOT find anywhere. A friend recommended me Glow Boutique with Sinan, saying how her sliver highlights have stayed sliver for months without purple shampoo. From my personal experience with Sinan- I found him welcoming, accepts any critiques, and is attention to detail. I can’t express how happy I am to finally find someone that can bleach & color my hair how I want it. Thank you some much for giving me that hair I’ve always wanted if you are reading this Sinan!! To anyone else, book with him!!! 10/10

They're nice. Got one good haircut after a bunch of mistakes and another stylist fixing it up/finishing it. Took her around 1.5 for a men's cut. It was really making us late to things and a friend who we were supoose to do things after with ended up waiting with us too. But it ended up being good. Gave them a tip still.

Got my hair done yesterday by Tarasina and couldn’t be happier! I’ve been looking for someone who has expertise with blondes, and she did not disappoint! She did everything and more than I could have expected and love the way it turned out! Such nice blending and NO BRASSINESS! Great salon and great staff! Shout out to Grace as well for being an amazing sidekick to deliver a job well done. Look forward to future appointments with Tarasina and so glad I don’t have to search or worry about who I can go to for my hair anymore. 🙌🏻💕 also… shout out to her adorable dog Jolene 🐶

I get my hair cut by Shayneece and she is the BEST! She is very detailed and takes her time. She is great at bang trims as well. She also has such a sweet and fun personality that makes getting my haircut such a fun experience!

I was wanting a big change for my hair and wanted to cut 10 inches off! When I met Jada and told her what I was hoping for, she was immediately excited to help me with my goals! We had great conversation and I felt so comfortable. She explained all the products she used in my hair and gave me some advice on what to use if I was having any further hair issues. I would recommend Jada for your hair cut :)

I went to glow for the first time for a trim and I saw shayneece, I have very long hair and often stylists will get impatient and tired and charge me more just to finish drying my hair which is really frustrating. But not Shayneece!!! She did an amazing job and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. And then gave me a blowout and asked if I wanted it curled! She went above and beyond and I am really happy with the cut. I’ve already made my next appointment with her and I can’t wait to chat with her again! Thank you shayneece!!!

Sinan did a fantastic job! He fixed my color beautifully and suggested curtain bangs that I am obsessed with. I’ve been looking for a stylist with the expertise to be able to suggest what would be best for me - from the color to the cut. I felt like I was in good hands from beginning to end and the whole crew there was so nice!

The owner Lisa and team are amazing. My hair looked and felt great adbt hey took their time and care with my long long hair. When I came back a month later with questions Lisa was incredibly helpful, no questions asked and fixed me up! I have had horrible experiences at other places but not GLOW! Thanks Lisa!!! 💕 💇‍♀️

DO NOT get your hair done here. I paid $350 to get my hair cut and a partial foil. The stylist was extremely nice, however the highlights that I left with were something I could get at Great Clips for $50. The bleach was dripping down the side onto the cape after he took out the foils, and there are several harsh lines on the top of my head from where the bleach leaked out. There are also various random orange spots from where the foils were pulled too early. I was burned multiple times and was told that my hair would look “blue” only after I was being shampooed. I ended up tipping because he spent 4 hours on my hair, but when I called the salon the next day I was mortified how the owner addressed the situation. After I explained in detail how the appointment went and how I would like a refund for the coloring only, her first question was “well why did you tip?” She was immediately on the defense and she was incredibly accusatory. No apology to begin with. She requested I send proof, which I did immediately, and I even went to the salon in person. Her sarcastic and belittling tone were a constant throughout the entire conversation. By far the worst service I’ve ever received at a salon that bleached my hair out of oblivion, to the point where other salons refuse to bleach it for another several weeks (to avoid the possibility of melting my hair). Looking forward to telling people where I got my hair done!

I had a wonderful experience here getting a haircut with Sinan. He is tremendously talented at what he does and really knows how to give your hair body and shine. Since my haircut, I’ve noticed that my hair feels lighter and has much more movement to it. I’ve gotten many compliments on it. Sinan does a phenomenal job and I highly recommend him!

I was in Portland attending a conference and wanted to get a nice haircut. Ella helped me to schedule an appointment right away and she was so nice when I showed up, super sweet! Shay did my hair and she was awesome. Not only she lives her job but she gave me great advise about how to take care of my hair. I really loved it! Definitely great service and good ambiance. Highly recommended!

I was just passing through Portland and was needing a quick trim. Wasn’t expecting a huge change, but Holly made my hair GLOW! She kept length as requested, but made it look and feel soooo fresh and smooth with a cut and products. I would definitely make this my go-to salon if I lived in the area.

I went to Glow Boutique about 2 weeks ago? I was taken care of by Jada- and while I usually fear hair cuts, she made the process easy and simple. We had a wonderful conversation, and she gave me a trim and some curtain bangs (that turned out so fabulous). She also took time to explain how I could style them on my own- which was beyond helpful for someone like me who has no experience styling hair. I have never felt so comfortable and heard by a stylist. I left the salon feeling so confident and beautiful and Jada made sure to give me her information so I could book again when I need another trim/style. Overall, I had an amazing experience with her and I guarantee you will too. I’ve officially found my hair salon and stylist!!

TLDR: Grew out my light brown hair for two years in preparation for a balayage. Almost no consultation in the chair beforehand except a picture on IG. Salon had a junior stylist take 6 hours to do half the balayage job (effectively partial highlights) and charged almost 400 dollars. Follow up appt part time manager sets appt with master stylist for free. Master stylist calls me later same day and tells me they are going to charge me even more than I paid the first time and at higher rates. This is a price gouging salon charging more than I paid in San Diego at a renowned salon to get a balayage (without the actual balayage). Full Description: I had light brown hair which I had grown out for two years in preparation for a balayage. Before my appointment, I communicated with a stylist on IG (didn’t know she was a junior stylist until after my hair was done). I sent her two pictures before the appt, one was a full highlight and one was a balayage. Was told we would have time for either. I came into the salon and showed her the second picture in the chair and said i wanted to do the balayage. We had almost zero communication in the chair before, but i figured she just knew what she was doing based on the picture. She did my hair for almost six hours, and the result (IMO) looks way more like a partial highlight. It wasn’t ugly, but it wasn’t close to what I asked for and definitely wasn’t worth 365$. I wasn’t rude, but told her this didn’t match the picture and wasn’t what I wanted. (It wasn’t even a balayage, I’ve had many different blondes before and had some variation but this was way off) The tone was also very off, I asked for a warm tone and got a very cool ashy color. She even looked at the picture again after and surprised said it looked almost like a strawberry blonde, which made it clear she wasn’t really looking at the picture. There was blonde all the way up to my roots like a highlight and it was very stripey (which was also the one thing I told her I didn’t want to see). The top should have been darker and there should have been a nice gradient to blonde at the ends. We made a follow up appointment. We had a follow up conversation on IG where she said there was a miscommunication and she had decided to try for a mix between the two pictures and that’s where the “miscommunication” was (also not discussed with me in the chair or beforehand). My hair still didn’t have enough blonde for either of those pictures. Even though I didn’t get what I wanted, she still didn’t do a bad job (my hair wasn’t terrible) and she was one of the kindest stylists I’ve ever had. I wasn’t upset with her, I know things don’t go perfectly the first time and sometimes communication is just missed. NBD. I show up to the follow up appt. Once I get there, she tells me she needs to check with the part time owner Jordan to see if she can add more blonde in at the bottom. He lets me know he’s unable to do that because of salon requirements for junior stylists, but instead tells me he can do a follow up appt on sat with another master stylist Lisa who will get me where me and the stylist initially agreed upon, no charge. Showed him the picture also. Very kind and amicable discussion (although I wish they could’ve told me over the phone before I came in). I get a follow up call the same day from Lisa (the master stylist). Very condescending, passive aggressive, cutting me off and almost making fun of me when I try to describe the issues with my hair. She let me know that it often takes two appts or more to get where I wanted in the picture. She told me I could add more blonde, but at MASTER STYLIST RATES. This was not discussed before the first appointment at all, so basically they made me half blonde and then told me I needed to pay EVEN MORE than I did the first time to get what I actually wanted (and what was agreed upon) in the first place. She also said that the same junior stylist would be available that day and could do it again as long as I paid (only at junior stylist rates!) I’m going to cancel the appt and dispute the charge.

Tarasina at Glow Boutique does incredible work! I’ve been booking with her for a few years now and she’s always on point. I’ve come in with some challenging color requests and she’s always been game to give it a shot and has delivered amazing results. She’s also a lovely person overall and is very easy to hang out with while you’re doing a long color process. I highly recommend her for custom color, and her super cute salon dog is a bonus :)

Had a fantastic first time experience with my stylist Tarasina!! She delivered exactly what I was picturing and then more. I’ve gotten many a balayage but this has been the best experience so far! I’m so happy to have found a stylist in Portland. ☺️✨

I got a face shave from their barber Tiffany and it was wonderful! It was a lovely treat, I’ve never had my face shaved as I am a woman but Tiffany left my face so smooth and glowing!

My hair is fantastic! I've been so busy showing off my hair and enjoying my new found confidence that I haven't been able to write a review until now. I was fortunate enough to get Shay, who is a "curly hair specialist". My hair is wicked curly so it worked out great. Shay also has the same curly hair as mine. Shay is beautiful, smart, funny and excels at her job. I wanted purple 💜 and black 🖤 and she gave me two colors of purple and black blended in. It looks fantastic! I was and am so happy to have gotten what I wanted. The stylists and owner seem like a family and often gave their input and sometimes help. The owner of the salon is lovely. She even jumped in to help with my hair. I was so impressed with her. Now that I've done purple, I won't ever go back to boring, regular colors. I'm 50 and fabulous. Do yourself a favor and go to Glow Boutique Salon and get you a perfect haircut and color. You won't regret it.

Nikki is 10/10 FANTASTIC!!! My hair has been magenta for over 4 years, but it had been a while since getting my hair done professionally, and my roots were very grown out. My usual stylist wasn't able to fit me in before I'm scheduled to have headshots taken for a new job, so I searched around to find somewhere else with openings; and let me tell you, I am so glad I landed on Glow Boutique! Nikki cut, balayaged, and dyed my hair FLAWLESSLY. She really took her time, was mindful and caring every step of the way, and not only met, but exceeded my hair goals and expectations. She is the first stylist I have ever been to that listened to how I wanted my hair cut and styled and followed my requests to the T. She cut my layers exactly how I wanted (how I've always wanted, despite other stylists convincing me for years that what I wanted wasn't possible). She's also the first stylist I've been to that has ever cut, styled, and dried my hair with my curls in mind. She cut my hair thoughtfully while considering shrinkage, and it looks perfect. And nobody else has ever pulled out a diffuser! Today was the first time I've left a salon knowing exactly what the new style actually looks like-- no more guessing and hoping it'll look the way I wanted when I style it at home! I don't think I've ever been so happy with a haircut or color. Trust me when I say, I am never going back to my old stylist!!

I had the best experience getting my hair done here with Shay! I needed a last minute appointment and luckily they accepted walk-ins and got me right in. Shay took so much understanding what I wanted and was so dedicated to all the small details throughout the entire process. I had gone to a couple salons trying to get the balayage look without much luck, but Shay absolutely nailed it the first time!

I had the pleasure of getting a wolf cut from Lisa yesterday, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Lisa was incredibly warm and friendly, making the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. She truly knows what she's doing and took the time to ensure my hair turned out exactly how I envisioned. All the staff at the salon were also very nice and welcoming, which added to the overall great atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for top-notch service and a fantastic haircut!

I made an appointment with Tarasina after seeing her work on Instagram and falling in love with her coloring service! I moved crossed country last summer and was terrified to find a new stylist. It had been over year since getting my hair done and Tarasina did an amazing job! We did a pretty big chop and she took my over year old balayage and turned it into the perfect sus kissed blonde for the summer. I will definitely be going back to her for all my hair needs!

Sinan is a very talented hairdresser he's the best that I've ever seen for a very long time he really did a great job and I haven't been satisfied about my hair color and style and the customer servicewas great they really deservethe 5 stars rate... I'm really speechless and can't express my joy and happiness, but one thing for sure, I will never ever go anywhere else from now on. Thanx a lot, Sinan. You are really a piece of work .
