Edit: My original therapist I used there was no longer there, but since I’ve tried two separate ones. Jael is now my go to. I haven’t had a bad experience there yet - unlike at massage envy. If I went back in time to change some of my reviews of other therapists now that I’m more familiar with bodywork, most of my reviews would be four stars of other therapists and studios. As a business golden touch is 5 stars - the therapists there seem happy (can never be sure since I don’t work there), unlike at massage envy where they seemed overworked and rushed; their stress was evident in their bodywork. I have received my full time in every session; a pet peeve of mine is paying for time only to be cut short. Of the 2 dozen plus therapists I’ve tried, I would put Jael at the top - truly 6 of 5 stars. End edit: Great experience there today. I have learned that, for the most part, a place with a lot of different massage therapists means your experience is based on your individual therapist. Savannah did not disappoint. Appointment started on time, we had a quick conversation about problem areas and medical history, then got into the appointment on time. The appointment lasted slightly over the allotted time, which i very much appreciated. I had a subscription to massage envy, but cancelled it because of their hypocritical business practices, that almost every appointment was actually 10 to 15 minutes short on average, and the hit or miss massage quality. Savannah did a great job / I’d classify it as more of a Swedish to medium massage - didn’t ask her if she could be more firm, but the experience was top notch. My normal massage practice is medically focused, so the spa atmosphere was a bit more relaxing, which was a nice change of pace. Will definitely be back / thanks for the great service!

I had a 2nd trimester 60 minute prenatal massage with Danielle. It was so relaxing! I have a lot of aches and pains from being pregnant and working and exercising but it all melted away while under Danielle’s care. One interesting thing I liked is that she had a pillow where you can lie completely on your stomach. Highly recommend and I will be back!

The most therapeutic, muscle relaxing massage I’ve had so far. If health and wellness is your life choice option, you need to stop by Golden Touch Massage & Spa, they are just like Midas, they have the Golden Touch. I think Stacey was my masseuse for the day I visited. Healing for your mind, body and soul.

I was a walk-in explained to the technician I had a callus under my left foot and because of a foot surgery I hadn’t had a pedicure in about 6 months. This is by far the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Only wanted clear polish and the polish must have been old or cheap because my nails don’t look like that been polished at all. I still had the dry skin under my feet and button line just poor work.

The best massage spa in Chesapeake! I usually get therapeutic massages with with hot stones, and each session leaves me feeling rejuvenated, and wonderfully relaxed. I highly recommend Golden Touch!

Allyson is “amazing”…. She was able to release the tight tension in my neck and shoulders. Thanks to Allyson I enjoyed a very restful night of sleep. I will be back !!!

I typically don’t write reviews, HOWEVER I can't recommend this place enough. This is the perfect getaway spot! My wife has been here several times and absolutely raves about the place to everyone we know. I was gifted a massage with Allyson. Got the 90 minute deep tissue massage with hot stones, to release all knots and tension from daily stress. Absolutely HEAVENLY massage. I Didn't want it to end. When I awoke I could tell she was very attentive to my focus areas back, shoulders ,and arms because I could feel the difference! RUN don’t walk to book your next appointment with Allyson. You will not be disappointed. I will absolutely be coming back and referring others!

Allyson worked magic on my knotted-up 73 year old body. I have had a lot of massages but NONE as good as this one. She personalized her treatment to address my specific issues, which I have never experienced before. I don’t live here unfortunately but I will definitely return to her spa when I visit Virginia again.

Amazing. We went for a two hour session and our therapists were great. Very good at their jobs. And the customer service was top notch, even the front end receptionist was polite and provided service with a smile, which just added to the experience. Will probably return in future :)

I have tried a few massage therapist over the last couple years and Ms. Allyson is my go to! I’ve recently started working as a LMT myself and after a fews weeks my back is completely knotted up and she makes sure to spend a good bit of time in my upper back area. I also tend to have a lot of issues in the hip area as well and although it never feels to fun while she’s doing her thing I have no issues for the next few days. Which is amazing, because sometimes it makes it hard to sit for too long and if I do I will get a nagging almost unbearable pain. I’ve also had a massage with Danielle where she used her SMRT technique, which I absolutely love as a person that doesn’t like super firm pressure or a fan of deep tissue.

I would have to say that this last appointment that I had with Stacey was one of the best I have ever had. She has a way of massaging you like no other. It's like her hands never stopped. Highly recommend her to everyone. Weather you want a nice relaxing one or a dig in there deep tissue, definitely check her out.

I’ve had a massage there previously and it was great. I’m in my third trimester of pregnancy and decided to do some self care. I wasn’t expecting much from a prenatal massage because of how big my belly is, but Allyson did amazing. I was so relaxed, she worked out a lot of my painful areas and I felt amazing afterward. I’ll definitely be back for another!

Stacey is the best. I came in tight and when I left I was a whole new person. I highly recommend Stacey. I got a deep tissue, but I fell asleep too it was the best thing I have ever experienced.
