Carla began coloring & cutting my hair at least 4 years ago. She is hands down one of the best & I trust no one else to touch my hair. I constantly am complimented on my color, which never misses. Her entire team is always so welcoming & the vibe at Good Beauty is great. I look forward to my visits & being pampered the entire Good Beauty team. Do yourself a favor & allow them to pamper your!

I can’t say enough good things about this salon and the incredible stylist, Carla! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was so calming. Carla is truly a gem—she listened carefully to what I wanted and even offered suggestions that perfectly suited me. The results? Absolutely amazing! My hair has never looked or felt this good. Carla’s attention to detail and her expertise really shine through. Whether you’re in need of a fresh cut, a gorgeous color, or flawless styling, this salon is the place to go. One extra bonus—they use Moroccan Oil products, which work wonders on my 40-something-year-old hair. I highly recommend this salon to anyone in Chicago looking for exceptional service and fantastic results!

Since day one Carla took the time to hear what I really want done and she always delivers EXCELLENCE! Her technique and product knowledge is amazing and she will guide me which products to use to keep my hair looking great and healthy! I've been coming here for several years now and all I can say is after a long day's work, I look forward to the pampering from the color and wash, to the cut and style! I’ve been going to Good Beauty since their early days as HUSH salon, and they never disappoint. The attention to detail from the moment you walk through the door is unmatched. They always know just how to cut my natural curly hair, and remember my preferences when it comes to a blow out. I’ve had appointments with multiple of their stylists through out the years, and can’t wait to make my way back to Chicago for a retouch.

I did not have a great experience with this salon. I actually went here in June of this year and didn’t feel inclined to write a review until now. I asked for a cut, all over color and money pieces. I was a little hesitant with getting so much done at once by a stylist I’d never seen before but I stayed optimistic. I asked for a darker color to cover grey hairs - preferably a cooler tone because I do not like red tones in my hair, blonde money pieces, and a slightly shorter cut with layers. Immediately after the service, I did not like how my hair looked. It was not a flattering cut on me at all, and was much shorter than I would have liked. The color that was used on my hair faded into a red toned brown not even a week after treatment, and the money pieces were sooo brassy. Now that my hair has grown out, I can see a very distinct point in my hair where it is significantly more red toned than my original hair color which was explicitly the opposite from what I asked for. It was also extraordinarily expensive. Will not go back and do not recommend this salon.

I’ve been to Good Beauty hair salon a total Of 3 times. Every time has been phenomenal. My hairdresser Liz is amazing at what she does! She has always brought my vision to life. When I’m unsure of what I want, she will give me her honest opinion. One thing that I really appreciate about her is that, she will go over the cost of everything BEFORE we start the hair process. So there’s no surprises at the end! I love it. I will keep going to Good Beauty Hair Salon ,even though I live in the other side of town 😄

Victoria was great! I'll definitely be back thank you so much It took me forever to write this but about a year ago i went here because i wanted my hair a bluish black and the owner actually did my hair and it was horrible….. i used to like this place but it was over priced she charged me close to 600 dollars when i could have done a better job with some dye at sallys. Safe to say i found a better salon and stylist with better pricing and quality. Victoria is still great if you need a cut if she’s still there. Save your money!

Good beauty is an amazing hair salon! Christina does my hair so well every time I come, for highlights, color, and hair cuts! Literally has me walk out looking 10x better. Will come back forever. Couldn’t recommend more!

Instantly became my go-to after my first appointment. I’ve been back probably 5 or 6 times in the past year and every time Christina blows me away! She’s great at asking the right questions so that she can execute exactly what I want. Great vibes and good people :D

My favorite salon in Chicago! I usually get my hair done by Amber who is absolutely awesome at everything, but sometimes I'll get services done by Carla, the owner, too because she is also amazing. I only get my hair done once or twice a year and I always go back to them, even after moving out of the area. I will travel to have these ladies do my hair 100% of the time. Great at color/bleach/cuts/styling/everything. I always love my hair after leaving!

Large, lovely salon space! Chill vibe, cool, elegant. I came to Good Beauty because I am Lizy Hernandez's client from a previous salon in Andersonville. She is THAT good! I followed her because she is the first stylist that listens to me when I talk to her about my hair goals, in terms of style and health. She is attuned to a variety of hair types, and she is always incredibly friendly, respectful, and fun! What I love best is that when my styles grew out, I didn't look or feel cringe. I always feel confident leaving her chair because she puts a lot of hard work into making me feel my best. I love getting my hair done by Lizy! BONUS: She does great eyebrow threading! I don't trust anyone but her with my brows.

I got a good hair cut here, like my hair looks great. But my stylist didn’t take any time to explain process or products. Or check in with me thought the cut. She seemed annoyed that I asked for loose waves with my style and said there wasn’t anytime. I told her about my hair goals/concerns and she recommended nothing, when I was really looking for help. I asked about coloring prices for a future appointment and she seemed uninterested in helping me. I didn’t feel welcome or like she even wanted my business. I explained that I had shoulder surgery recently and wasn’t able to do my own hair, so maybe I was looking a bit rough but Elizabeth was pretty rude.
