I haven’t had highlights in my hair before and I have Asian hair which she worked so well with! I absolutely love the work she did. Definitely going to go back and see her next time for touch ups, she gives great haircuts too.

I have gone to Maddie for years now for cuts, colors, and styling and I can't recommend her enough. First of all, such a sweet person and often haircuts will turn into chat sessions- she is so easy to talk to and so comfortable to be around. Secondly, being biracial, it was important for me to find someone that would be able to work with my hair because it really is an exact split between my parents' textures and could be a challenge- in middle school and high school, I straightened my hair daily (yikes). Since going to Maddie, she has taught me how to style my hair and I rarely straighten it anymore unless we have a special event- I love my natural curly hair and now I know how to take care of it! She also styled my hair for my engagement shoot and it looked amazing. I most recently worked with Maddie for my wedding day where she did my hair, as well as the 5 bridesmaids' hair. She did SUCH an amazing job, and everyone was SO happy with their styling!! She did a range of styles on a range of textures and colors of hair and everyone looked beautiful <3 She was easily able to do 6 hairstyles and I was so happy to have her there on that day. I would be hard-pressed to find another stylist that I can speak this confidently about, but thankfully I don't have to! Thank you so much Maddie!!

Maddie is an incredibly skilled stylist, especially when it comes to color! She has a great sense for how color will deposit on your hair, and how to tone to get exactly what you're looking for. Compared to other stylists I've gone to, I've also noticed that when Maddie colors my hair it still looks good months later, even as it fades/lifts with time. I went to her for a balayage right before my wedding, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! She also waxed my brows, and multiple people specifically complimented me on my brow shape. On top of that, Maddie is a lovely person who really makes you feel comfortable when you're in her shop :)

Maddie is truly gifted, both in her craft and her ability to make you feel connected to the process. My daughters and I saw her for the first time recently, and I can't even tell you what an amazing job she did with all three of us, each with very different hair. She equipped me to learn how to style my own hair, which no other stylist has been able to do with such clarity and encouragement before. I'm so glad we found Good Juju. It's a lovely, comfortable space, with an amazing proprietress.

Full disclosure… Maddie is my sister. But, I would still choose her to be my stylist even if she wasn’t my sister. Shoot, I’d even choose Maddie if I had a different stylist for a sister! Over the years, I’ve watched her make countless clients happy, keep our entire family in great hair, and now she owns her own salon! I couldn’t be more proud of her! Maddie still goes to work everyday loving the career she has built for herself. When we see each other, she joyfully shows me pictures of all of her favorite clients’ hairstyles. Maddie is not afraid of challenges and continues to grow her knowledge and skills by staying up on every hair trend. She’s successfully steered me away from choosing a few disasters for myself as well. One more thing I will say, is that Maddie is a great person. She is fun, caring, and super humble for someone so talented. Even behind closed doors, she genuinely cares about her clients. She is always talking about how great you all are. So ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Maddie from a big sister super fan over here!

I have hair that is still recovering from chemo a few years ago. Maddie gave me a wonderful haircut. Everyone tells me it is looking great. The salon is clean and private. Maddie was friendly and listened to what I needed in a hairstyle. I will return.

When you've found a good hair stylist, you've found a good thing, and Maddie is IT. She really has en eye for detail and it comes through in everything she does. From her attention to finely styling a cut to complement your hair type and features to applying beautiful color (her balayage is on point!), to her thoughtful demeanor and impeccably clean and sleekly decorated Central West End salon. Always looking forward to spending time in her chair, enjoying our visit, and walking out loving my look.

Maddie has cut & styled my hair several times, and I never have any complaints. She is kind, we have good conversations while I'm there, and I always leave with my hair looking great. Her salon is clean, cozy & inviting. Parking is also easy to find. I would definitely recommend Good Juju to anyone looking for a hair studio.

I've been going to see Maddie in some form at her many different salons for 8 years now. Now she's finally been able to open her own space and I am SO excited for her. I love the space, it is small, calm and she has decorated it beautifully. One room for lounging and one room for hair - perfect for hanging while waiting for your turn or place for kids to chill while waiting for you. The little tidbits she put into the salon for ambiance and comfort are perfect. And Maddie's skills and friendship keep me coming back over the many years. Fun salon and always a great experience seeing Maddie. We've done so many things over the years to my hair, and I'm always happy with my results! And my daughter agrees. She loves going to see Maddie! Kid friendly space as well.

Maddie never disappoints. Was new to the St Louis area and I’ve been with her for over a year and had to follow her to her new place. She’s always willing to listen to what your needs are and truly does her best to make sure you leave happy. I’d recommend her to anyone. She is also doing my wedding party as well :)

Her new space is so cozy and clean, in a quiet part of the central west end that was very easy to find. Can’t recommend enough!!!

I am so grateful for every haircut she has fixed for me 😅😅😅 From originally going to another salon that botched my hair to trying to cut it myself 🤐 she has always been there to help get me right! She's kept up with all my styles through the years: fades, tapers, longer scissor cuts, etc. and she always knows exactly what I want even when I dont know how to word it. 100/10 love her work!

I recently got a haircut at Good Juju Hair Salon and couldn't be happier with the experience. Maddie, the owner, is incredibly nice and does an excellent job handling male haircuts. She listened to what I wanted and delivered a fantastic cut. The salon has a welcoming atmosphere, and Maddie's friendly demeanor made the visit enjoyable. I’ve been a client of Maddie’s for 3 years and cannot recommend her highly enough! I started seeing her when my hair was growing back from chemo, and have so appreciated her styling advice and skill with cutting short hair so much over the years. As someone who had always had long hair I didn’t even know where to start, and she’s made it so easy to adjust to short hair. Very reasonably priced and easy to get along with - will be a client for life!
