If you need a strong massage, this is the best massage ever. Period.

I love Charlie so much. He has helped my family and me for almost a decade. He’s incredible.

Truly transformative and magical experience. AMAZING! I tried so many different places in NY, more than I can count, just couldn’t seem to find one that is good enough. But this is it! Trust me!

You might scream in agony, but you can thank me later!

Session started off really well. However, about ten minutes in, I noticed the masseuse frequently clearing his throat. Initially, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, assuming it might be due to allergies. After all, one would expect that someone providing such close-contact services would not do so if they were unwell. Unfortunately, a few minutes later, he began blowing his nose directly over me and continued the massage without bothering to sanitize his hands. In hindsight, I should have left at that moment, but after 20 minutes of being exposed to coughing and breathing, I felt my fate was pretty much sealed. Unsurprisingly, I woke up the next morning with a cold. It’s a shame because the massage itself was well-executed, but under the circumstances, I won’t be returning.

THE BEST

Decided to come here after a friend highly recommended it. Did not disappoint! Reasonably priced and such a pleasant experience. The massage was painful in a good way. My shoulder felt better immediately afterwards. I feel like a new person after this experience. Will be returning soon.

Best massage ever. It was extremely painful but worth the pain. You feel so much lighter & better after. I highly recommend but you should be able to endure the pain. Charlie is the best even though he take calls in between your session.

Pain but in the best way possible

This place is amazing! You should know what you're getting into before coming. Accupressure massages are extremely painful, literally the most painful thing I've ever done. I couldn't help but moan and groan loudly during the massage, which is better than full on screaming in pain. However, you really feel the difference. I've had knots loosened that months of physical therapy and trigger point injections couldn't fix. The pain is absolutely worth it. This is a no-frills business. There's only one large room with 6-8 small areas separated by curtains, so there's no noise barrier. There's also no music. They also only take phone calls to make appointments. You can schedule 30 min, 45 min, or 1 hr sessions. Highly recommend this place! Please tip well, the prices are cheap at $60 an hour but it's very physically demanding work. My only suggestion is that I wish they'd set up a website, scheduling system, Whatsapp business chat, etc. for scheduling appointments. There are times I feel I'd rather not call, especially since I've heard they will take calls during your massage, so I feel bad disrupting somebody's session.

I came here after straining my neck/shoulder the night before. Prior to my massage, I was not able to move my neck very much due to the amount of pain I was in. However, after 20 minutes, my mobility was much improved and I felt much better! Great experience!

Absolute best massage in NYC if you like very deep pressure. I won’t go anywhere else now after 2 visits here that were incredible!

Been coming to Grand Nature for the last 6 years. Charlie helped my sciatica and earned a lifetime customer. What doctors couldn't fix he did. He has amazing workers also both Kevin's, David, and Charlie's son Lin. More than a fair price for the relief I get after each visit. This is cash only.

Chali or kevin is good but other guys is mediocre and he really aggressively fiorced $20 Tip. Not really great feeling won’t go back.

Don’t tell anyone about this please please haha No it’s not the place for relaxing massage. No it’s not a spa. Here you coming to heal. It’s gonna be painful, yes you will pay cash and leave tips(thank you tho to stop demanding 20%) I can live without this place. I have pain in back- I am coming here. Guys help me a lot for last 4 years. If I wanna go to relax, it’s not the right place.

If you are looking for a place to get gentle massage, with patting you on a back on shoulders and listening to relaxing music... this is NOT the place. If you are looking for a place to have every single of your muscles punished, beaten down to it's primal form and left out so it can reassemble itself to the form Mother Nature intended (ie strong and flexible) and letting you feel great until you ruin it again by your unhealthy lifestyle you sitting-whole-day-in-the-office-chair-monkey... than you are in for a treat! No stars for vibe, 10/10 for strong, skillful massage. I come here every month, entering broken man full of tension and knots, leaving new person, reborn and straightened (though a bit sore). Totally recommend, though not to those of faint heart or body!

Massage what pretty good, but too painful. What I really didnt like that is an attitude with tips. he demanded sharply and angry for the tip what he wanted. I left them 8$ as it was all I had in cash, but started shouting and demanding at least 15$ or more and they dont take cards.

Usually if I have a bad experience at a business I move on but I just left my massage and it was one of the most horrible experiences I’ve ever had. I booked the massage as a birthday gift to myself and after many recommendations to see Charlie from a friend and reviews. THE WHOLE TIME Charlie kept answering his phone, on speaker, while I was trying to relax and focus on my massage. His phone was also left on the massage table so I would hear it vibrate as the calls came. This happened at least several times within 45 min to which I had to tell Charlie I can’t proceed with this massage anymore. I even said is this normally how his massages go? To which he just laughed and brushed it off. I’m generally confused why people would enjoy this as I felt unattended to, disrupted, and anything BUT relaxed or calm or even got a decent massage because of the constant influx of calls and being put on pause every 5-10 minutes. After deciding to cut things short I was pushed and rushed out as if I was the person doing something wrong in the situation. Charlie then pointed to a sign on the door saying this is how he conducts business to which I was still processing what JUST happened and people looking at me to what happened. I’m shocked, confused, and slightly traumatized by this whole experience.

i was recommended to come here by my acupuncturist when i developed sciatica. the doctors there are specialists. they're trained in an uncommon diagnosis and therapy that my body responds to. this is not a normal massage treatment. admittedly, it’s not for everybody. there is no request to “do it softer” here. a huge man grinds his elbow on every part of your body. communication can be difficult (language barrier). the actual space is not attractive although it's not necessary. by design, the treatments are eventually excruciating AND - & i FULLY trust them with my most precious possession - my body. the doctors were able to transform my body to a state where i was able to heal MYSELF and i could walk normally again. (soon after, i even returned to my elite martial arts training!). at the apex of my original sciatica onset, i was coming to grand nature as often as i could afford to. after several visits of only working muscles, tendons, fascia along meridian pathways - Kavin, who’s been my only dr there - was able to diagnose the injury that was pinching my nerve so severely. by slowly working the vertebrae with his elbow, Kavin pushed it back into place & corrected my spine issue which preceded a cascade of symptoms melting away over time. i’m a flexible, strong & healthy man that had had months of spasms in my back, hips & glutes without a break. & i’ve been seeing chiropractors since i was a kid - i know that my muscles were so tight that no chiropractor could’ve done that move. at first, i was sure he’d injured me further(!), but a half hour later, i walked out on my feet & slowly improved after that day with regular PT & fanatical core stretching. i still go there as often as i can afford. it’s with DEEP gratitude & a HUMBLE, humble bow that i recommend my doctor Kavin at grand nature to you for body pain.
