I hadn’t been to Great Clips in ages and I had a location close to where I live so I figured I’d drop in today to get a trim. I’m happy I did! I just needed to touch up my look, I normally get a shorter men’s style. I used the app to check in (SUPER EASY) and I got my place in line while I made my way to the storefront. I was fortunate enough to have Samantha as my stylist and since I was already checked in, it took 30 seconds to walk in and take my seat. Samantha was fantastic and had a great personality. She asked me what I was hoping to do, I had a photo of a previous style that I had taken and she went to work. She was great! Gave me a few tips and suggestions for my hair and I was out in about 20 minutes. I recommend this location and ask for Samantha! I’ll be back :)

We have gone to this salon for five years and have had several incidents that were frustrating, but fairly minor. Things like the neck tapering being uneven, and even a slip of the razor that left a line that we did not see until we left, that was ignored. But twice now we have gone in and the cuts have just been unrealistically bad. We all know that you get what you pay for, and now this place has become too costly to walk away with the level of mess up that is being experienced. I do a good number of reviews. I try pretty hard to focus on positives and to just leave a place alone if I feel it is not good, but now, it is becoming common place for the cuts to be bad at this location. There are several experiences today that were out of the ordinary for this location. Typically a friendly greeting is the very least of the kindness that is shown. That was not the case at all today. Then I asked for my hair to be cut so that it would lay on my shoulders and that the curls would not be weighed down. I then asked the stylist if it would be ok for me to just put in headphones and relax. She said that she understood everything and that listening to music would be no problem. What I ended up with was hair that is just past my ears, significantly higher than my shoulders. By the time I noticed what had happened it was too late. There was nothing that I could say, and I am not the type to make a big deal of things. So I paid my bill, left 1/4 of the tip that I had planned (I was looking forward to giving someone a surprise Christmas bonus) and came home. After washing it I noticed two separate places where there was a significant amount of hair that was ignored and was several inches longer than the rest of my hair. Worst of all....I now look like my damn 70 year old ex-MIL that is just the epitome of a horrible human being who is stuck in the past. :( As I type this I am basically getting over it, I just hope that someone who actually cares about the service at this salon sees this and does something about raising the quality of the services back to where it was a couple of years ago. :)

I brought my 13 year son here after waiting far too long to get his hair cut. Though, personally, I thought he looked adorable with long hair (having grown up in the seventies myself), he was done with it! However, he is quite sensitive to change and sort of froze when we got there. Well, Miranda treated him so gently and sweetly, and gave him a haircut that looked just like the picture we showed her but even BETTER! When he went to school the next day he said everyone wouldn't stop complimenting him! Boy did he look handsome. I brought his fraternal twin brother there the following week, who is highly ticklish, and Miranda was able to gently calm him and cut his hair anyway. Fabulous results AGAIN! I'm really not exagerrating, she's a lovely person and her haircuts were fantastic, my boys look so good. Thank you Miranda. I highly recommend her.

I use to go there before and everything was ok. But last time the person that cut my hair was not ok. She did a bad job. Very disappointed.

Lady with the green hair cut my right side down too short and didn’t cut my left side at all… said she was done and I asked if she was going to cut my neck. Because I didn’t have my glasses on, didn’t notice until I got home… very disappointed in the service I received.

Asked for a 2 on the sides and an inch off the top. Sides were trimmed nicely but stylist just wet my hair on top but did not cut it. Not the first time I got a bad haircut at this location. Won't be returning.

I got a great cut! 2nd cut from the same girl, great like the first one. I have enjoyed our conversations. The sign of a great cut: my hair looks the same, but is significantly shorter. Got another cut this evening. Looks great! Another cut, same great results. 10/2/24 update Went in long, shaggy and messy. Came out gentlemanly. They listened to what I wanted and delivered. My stylist was a little intimidated by the big change and enlisted another stylist to do the job while she watched, learned, and got her questions answered.

Mystica, Miranda & Kim were AMAZING today! They took me and my son back right away. They were friendly and helpful. Took the time to understand exactly what cut we both wanted. We will be back in the future! A while back we went to the great clips on Academy and Wyoming and our experience was completely horrible! The lady was super rude and we left without hair cuts. But I am glad todays experience was so much better. Thank you ladies for the great cuts and customer service! It's appreciated 😊

The new girl did a "Great Clip" ! Very happy with the haircut I got from her. She admitted being new to her career - and she took extra time and care to make sure I was happy. And I'd have to say, my hair never looked better! Thanks and best wishes with your new hairstyle career!

Awful experience, wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Hair was cut at least an inch shorter than requested, hair is uneven on the sides, and did not receive a fade even though I asked for one. I usually love great clips and frequent the one on Paseo and Golf Course but I will NEVER be going to this location again

It was very busy. Still my stylist was polite and patient. I had a 7 yr old autistic boy..I'm guardian. The price was more than I bargained for. A cut was for seniors was 16. But to style you hair cost $45. Can't afford that again. Still a good hair stylist.
