**Review for Great Clips - Dissatisfied Customer** I typically refrain from leaving negative reviews, but I believe providing constructive feedback is crucial for service-based businesses to improve. This was my second haircut with Michelle, and it was unfortunately a disappointing experience. During my first visit, Michelle pointed out that I have a high neckline and a cowlick in the back—both of which were never mentioned to me before. On 9/24/25, before starting the haircut, I reminded her of these points and showed her a picture of the hairstyle I wanted. I emphasized that I needed the back and nape of my hair to be left long enough to straighten, as I don’t use relaxers. Despite this, Michelle did not follow my instructions and cut my hair in a style that she thought was best. The moment she picked up the clippers, I knew the cut was too short. I expressed my concern immediately, explaining the challenges I would now face in styling my hair. Unfortunately, my concerns were not addressed. The final result left me disgusted. The back of my hair is not blended and looks like a bowl cut, with a heavy line where my hairline is now shaved. This haircut has left me feeling self-conscious, and I am now afraid to wear my hair natural. Three weeks later, the issues are even more apparent; the uneven blending is more noticeable, making it difficult to style my hair confidently. The purpose of this review is not just to vent my frustration, but to highlight the importance of maintaining a client profile, truly listening to the client's requests, and not making assumptions about what they want. If there is any uncertainty about the length or style, it's essential to ask the client for clarification. And if you don’t feel confident about achieving a particular style, it’s better to communicate that upfront rather than compromising the client’s appearance. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it is intended to help improve the experience for future clients.

Hello yall, I went in for early bird discount, however I just paid the full price BUT for some reasons I'm still so happy 😊. The stylist called Dee-Dee is amazing, she got my hair done while it was my first time visiting them but somehow she knew the correct way on my hair and it means she is experienced for sure. Most of all my wife says it's the first time since our marriage that she sees my hair after a haircut so nice and perfect. Dee-Dee if you are reading this thank you so much yo made my wife happy🙏.

I got a terrible haircut. Uneven and terrible quality. I got rushed out of the chair with out even being shown the back or sides. Didn't see what I was stuck with until I got home and now I'm furious. Avoid this place. A few of the stylist are good but apparently some are awful. You are rolling the dice at this place. I Wish I had never gone

The Sydney Marcus/Piedmont location is the Buckhead/Lavista area go to saloon. Ricki has always been upbeat, greet you with a smile and even coming in at 6:42 pm she smiled and welcomed me. I have been there many times now after being driven away from the Briarcliff/N Druid Hills location with snarky attitudes and “I don’t want to work any harder so unless you sign in on our app you can die before we are going to cut your hair approach.” Even with no human in sight you won’t have a pleasant or quick experience there. Sydney Marcus location is clean, the area has addressed the draconian homeless issue and you feel like you are in a clean, good energy establishment. The team there can be quick as I prefer or patient and kind if you have someone who needs that extra moment to get up, or “hair day is there special someone brings them out”… The sign in online company system is flawed but not the ladies at Sydney Marcus

I like the barber there, James. He is a gentleman, a scholar, and a great barber. I miss going to Great Clips in the morning between 9 and 11 where these days the haircuts were $9.99. I look forward to the next one with James! Last time I was there the smoke from their next door's cigar shop was constricting

I went to Great Clips and had a really bad time. The lady who cut my hair was rude. Even when her blades were hurting me, she didn’t care. She just said they were new and no one else had a problem. But I did, I even saw where she nearly cut me when I was showering later. I tried to talk to her about it, but she was just rude back to me. I wanted to let her know how I felt, but all I got was a bad attitude. I wouldn’t tell anyone to go to her for a haircut. She didn’t listen when I said I was in pain, and she wasn’t nice about it. That’s not how you treat people when you’re doing a job like this.
