Hairstylist named Masa was extremely rude, disrespectful. When I gave him tip, He Demanded more money in tips while disrespecting me at the same time. This is bullying. I will never visit this Great Clips as long as Masa is working there as hairstylist. This lost my business because of Masa. This kind of rude, greedy and disrespectful hairstylist brings shame to the business. If you see Masa, I recommend running away in other direction if you value your pride and respect.

If you want a great high quality haircut for a reasonable price ask for Masa at this location. He really cares about his customers and providing a quality cut, very accurate and careful with his skill. It’s worth the drive to this location I pass several Great Clips locations on the way there to request him. The online app helps to make a reservation.

We've been to this location twice and had a great experience both times. This is a great place if you have a kid who is too old for a children's salon but is still new to getting haircuts. They are very friendly and helpful. My daughter has incredibly thick hard to manage hair and they know exactly how to cut her hair so she doesn't constantly get tangles. Definitely use the online check in feature as they get busy.

Won't be going back here, thats for sure! I took my 10 yo for a trim -he has the shaggy curly hair style. Stylist, while standing at the front desk, asked how he wanted it cut before they took him to the chair. I said 1/2'' around and tighten up around the ears, to which my son said "mom, noooo". Standard, very mild, run-of-the-mill objection by my son, very age-appropriate. I didn't have a chance to respond before the stylist decided to advocate for my son and state they wouldn't cut my sons hair until we compromised. Immediately my son backed down and said "thats fine, that's fine, sorry mom" as he could see he started something. Stylist went over to mgr and another stylist to "consult" with them, I could see they were like "just cut his hair". The awkward hostility got worse from there by the stylist but I don't have time or a care to type it out. I will add that the manager observed the whole interaction from a chair in the waiting area and chose to do absolutely nothing. Puzzling. Twice the stylist recommended I purchase a hair care product called "SEXY HAIR" for my 10 year old. I couldn't get out of there fast enough, and we learned many lessons and had plenty to talk about on the way home and then some. I should have just left at the beginning and gone to the location on William Cannon. (Adding that my husband refuses to go to this location at Escarpment Village because of multiple bad experiences years ago, but I thought I'd give it a try since it is closer). I won't let people with their own emotional baggage instigate a conflict between my son & I. I am certain we aren't the only mom/son couple to walk into a hair salon and have slightly different ideas on what the cut should look, which can easily be worked it out BETWEEN MOM AND SON. Stay out of my business and just give my 10 year old an $18 haircut, no advice necessary.

I took my Dad for a haircut. My exact words to the stylist were - ‘He will tell you what he wants but he is hard of hearing so can you speak a little louder’. She said she was not going to do that. I told her if Great Clips did not want to accommodate people with hearing disabilities then they should let us know. No response! I have been to this location several times and the other stylists have been extremely accommodating with this request but this one needs to be called out.

I don't know her name because she didn't tell me, but the woman who cut my hair there today was horribly rude and did a terrible job on my hair. She wacked at it for 2 minutes and called it good and charged me 21 dollars. My fiance had to fix all the uneven spots when he saw the damage. Never again 😒.

A wonderful man named Masa cut my hair today. He had great attention to detail and made sure to check in with me so I got what I wanted, was kind, precise, and worked fast, especially given the level of craftsmanship. Masa has very obviously been doing this for a long time, and he is very good at it! This summer he gave me the first haircut that has ever made me feel truly confident in my 22 years of life. I told him that today when I went in (I was lucky he was there!) and he was so sweet about it. Next time I'm definitely going to call ahead to make sure he's there, I'd recommend doing the same. And tip him well, he deserves every penny. I have been having a lot of pain due to my disability and I wanted to do something for myself after an intense past week. He completely made my day. The world needs more people like Masa.

One of the staff was super rude and told me not to sit on the chair. While the stylist who was cutting my sons hair told me that you can sit. I have been to other locations and never came across with this policy where you cannot sit next to your child. Will never go to this location. 9600 Escarpment blvd, Austin tx 78749

The workers here need a course in customer service. Partner walks in, they seemed like they couldn’t be bothered, the guy doesn’t even say hi, straight to “is your name on the list”, asked my partner what he wanted as my partner told him what he wanted and still was rude about it, his entire attitude was rude and disrespectful the entire time throughout the haircut that at one point the barber inhales my partner cut hair and gets upset he inhaled the hair as if it was my partners fault, my partner wanted the haircut over and came home and I took him to another barber.

Took my 3.5 year old to the Circle C location and it was an awful experience. The stylist obviously didn’t want to cut a kids hair. I’ve used other GC locations and have never had issues. I’ve never had them ask if he sits by himself (he does) and have never not let both my husband and I stand beside nearby while he got his haircut. Only one of us could stay. We aren’t children and know how to not get in the way. She was also extremely rude about it even if it is policy. But, the worst of the offenses is she addressed my son in an incredibly rude tone when giving him direction. I don’t talk to my son, or any kid, as if they’re idiots like she did. Finally, the haircut is botched. The front is all over the place and the sides look like they were cut with different guards.

Visited on weekend morning, quick check-in through the app ,staffs save the previous haircut configuration and hence it was easy. Booking open only on same day at 9am. Parking available infront of store with accessibility parking. They also offer shampooing and bread trimming post hair cut. Recommended option in south Austin
