I got a decent cut. It's cute. I can do stuff with it. It's just not what I asked for. I asked to get 3-4 inches cut and ended up with about 6 inches cut off. If it were any shorter, I'd be REALLY upset. The guy styling my hair was also telling me a lot of personal info I didn't want to hear and took 30 minutes to do a very simple cut, doing all these weird sections and telling me "this is the PROPER way to do it." It's NEVER taken more than 10 minutes before and no one has ever done it that "proper" way before. I don't hate the cut, but I'd have much preferred it the length I asked. I like it better when people DON'T do it the "proper" way, I guess. If I return to this location, I will ask for a different stylist.

I have my hair trimmed and shaped monthly. Kobie has done a great job for me each time.

First time getting a haircut here but I'll be back visiting Cindy every couple of months. She took her time and asked me several times how I liked the cut. She helped me decide to go a little shorter and I am very pleased.

Amanda is unsurpassed! She has been on a "grow my hair" journey with me since I arrived here as a travel nurse. Now that I am a permanent resident, I recommend her to others and always wait until she is available to cut my hair. She is simply the best!

I went to get my hair cut today and was super satisfying with my results. My hair isn’t easy to cut and I usually walk away from an appointment not super happy but i was completely different today. I got the best hair cut I’ve ever gotten from Bonnie. She did a great job and her energy is so up lifting. If you come here make sure to request Bonnie!!!

I went to a great clips and apex and the lady basically cut off a little bit of hair and called it quits. I think she was overwhelmed by my thick hair I wanted layers and thinning out my hair and face framing. I then talked to Amanda on the phone and she said she could fix it for me and that she did! Amanda is amazing! I'll come back here the next time I need a cut!

I got my haircut here yesterday and the lady I got it done by completely destroyed my hair. It’s so terrible. I was in tears after I left. I brought pictures of the cut I wanted and it’s NOTHING like that. She kept saying how my hair was too long. I should have known from that point that she was going to cut way too much. I asked her to cut off the dead ends and she cut off at least 4 inches in length. I asked for FACE framing layers starting at my collarbone and she cut layers all over my hair starting at shoulder length. And the layers that she did do look absolutely terrible. This is the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. I’m certain I could have done a better job myself. I’m adding pictures so you can see for yourself. Before picture, the two pictures I brought in to say this is what I want, and what I got. This lady has no business cutting anyone’s hair. It will take me literal YEARS to grow back my hair. My previously lower back length hair is now above my chest/ bra strap level. While I have random chunks of hair shorter in one place and long in the next. It looks so bad that I could probably tell people that my toddler got a hold of scissors. Can not get over how this woman has a liscence for this.

Don’t go here if you are trans or non-binary. The staff will out you without a second thought. The haircut was extremely uneven on both sides, a poor excuse for a fade and the hairdresser didn’t even bother to show me the back with a mirror. I felt so unwelcome the second my identity was revealed without my permission in the waiting room in front of other customers, and it’s clear that the stylist I had will not put an ounce of effort into your haircut if you don’t fit their standards. Don’t go here, save your money, it’s not worth the harassment or $20 the for a jacked up hairline.

I had a bad haircut from the male stylist. He was sighing and breathing heavily on me multiple times while cutting my hair. He seemed apathetic to being there. I asked him to blend the sides but he did not do that well. The hair on top of my head and side where not cut evenly. He did not tapper my back well. He did trim down the bottom of my neck either so I had to go back. When I asked him to show the back of my head with a mirror he rolled his eyes and shook his head as he held the mirror out. I do not recommend getting your hair cut with this stylist or this location unless this person changes his approach. Please improve. P.S. I got an email from great clips corporate saying they pass my message to the local owner. I am not sure if that will help. I am seeing that there was a similar complaint about this stylist from another user posted two months ago.

I have had my haircut many times at this establishment and I very much love the atmosphere. It is a great place and I have had Maria cut my hair and style it. Maria is a good worker and I wouldn't hesitate to go back and have her cut my hair again. Highly recommend visiting when you can.

I've never had a great experience at any salon for my teens. they all laughed and felt comfortable. the 2 working on Saturday, April 8th, were amazing and deserve a raise!

Perhaps my worst haircut experience ever. The air-conditioning either wasn't working or wasn't turned on as I was sweating within minutes of the cape being draped. My stylist seemed, at best, apathetic towards being there and yawned no less than 15 times during my short haircut. I am rarely particular about my hair, but I had to provide continued direction, which appeared to exasperate the stylist as I received shorter and shorter responses. I've had decent experiences at this location in the past, but currently the worst location of the 5 I've gone to in the Triangle area :-/

This location never opens on time and the lady that manages this location must also own it with the comments she makes. I’ve been going to this location for years and has now become a place we avoid. The manger acts like you should be thanking her for even opening. Luckily in the same shopping center another hair salon with employees that are happy you and your family came in to spend money .

I take my son to the Great Clips in Cary next to Trader Joe's. He is 14 but looks 18. He enjoys talking with the stylists and letting them know how he wants his hair cut. $20 for a cut. always tip 100% at check out. My son is happy with friendly staff and little wait.

I waited 10 minutes with my kid while every employee started talking about “ohh we can’t take card” silently trying to get me to leave with my kid. I’ll never go back to this place. They never once asked me how I was doing or if I needed to check in or anything. Horrible customer service especially since you had one sitting down doing absolutely nothing except talking.
