Great Clips

I had lived in Asheville so after hurricane Helene’s devastation I was staying in my hometown of Charlotte with family until power and water could be restored (I was one of the fortunate ones). I went into this Great Clips looking hideous and everyone in there was so kind and thoughtful because of my situation. I’ve now moved back to Charlotte permanently and this will be my Great Clips from now on.

I'm a recent transplant to the area and was looking for a Supercuts which was my go-to back in Texas. I found Great Clips and I'm glad I have them a try. I showed Mary a picture of the hairstyle and was very pleased with the value and the results .

Went to this great clip location for the past 2 years to get my haircut. I don't care who cuts my hair as long as they listen to my suggestions, which they always do. Staffs were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Great place.

Yesterday, November 26 of 2024 I have a bad experience within one of the lady , I went to get a haircut and she was polite and was working really fast , at the moment of make the payment she said at loud " only this amount for the tip ? And in the holiday ! And proceeded to toss me the recipe . First her attitude towards me was unprofessional , second I don't think she understands the concept of tips , this are optional and base in the service one received, and third I fell really bad when she did that in front of the rest of costumers . Not coming back to this place .

got my hair cut by mary! super quick, understood exactly what i needed and was a total doll to talk to while i was there. also gave me good advice about what i should ask for when someone else cuts my hair, based on my hair type. very knowledgable and personable, over all. best walk in haircut experience ive ever had. will definitely be back to see her!

I went for a medium length, easy to maintain haircut and Mary did a pretty good job. She is super friendly and knows the right thing to do with your hair. She suggests what would look good for your hair type but if you are not satisfied with her opinion, you are good to go your own way too! I didn’t opt for styling though. It would cost around $50 extra if you have a medium length or more. Overall, it was a good experience.

I had a bad experience. The lady was very rude and adamant. I showed her pictures of how I wanted my hair to be cut and tried suggesting some changes after she was done. She was hesitant that she will not cut, then why the hell are you running the salon? I also didn't want to give her any tip but she added $5 tip on her own. I suggest not going to that salon.

I had a fantastic experience at Great Clips with Mary. She was incredibly friendly and had a great eye for recommending hairstyles that suit different face shapes. I was extremely satisfied with her service and the haircut I received. Highly recommend!

I rushed all the way to Great Clips got there at 6:43 and the lady states that can't take anybody else. What's the point of still having the open sign on plus it's 15mins before closing. All i wanted was a trim. Both ladies had a customer in there chair but there was no one waiting. I work and i get off at 6:30. They should say they close at 6:45 instead of 7:00pm

While I have no qualms about the services, and I drove 3 of my people here (my boyfriend, and 2 guy friends) because I have a car while they're still students and I just started working a few months ago..the woman there has the audacity to make personal comments. She first asked if I'm my friend's girlfriend (the third time I went there), and I said 'No, I'm just their ride' I told her how he wanted the cut because he asked me to tell her. But he started talking because they are pretty great at making their clientele feel welcome, and I walked out to grab lunch. She called me an orange flag and sketchy for touching his hair. Asked him about the concert we went to and how he wouldn't meet a girl because I'm around? O.o He's been my friend for over 2.5 years and roughly 5 years younger. Maybe with their amazing hair cutting skills they could keep the conversation professional. Don't appreciate such crass conversations
