I recently had the pleasure of visiting Great Clips at Green Tree Marketplace in Chesapeake, VA, and was fortunate to be assisted by **Christine**. From the moment I walked in, she provided an exceptional customer service experience that absolutely deserves recognition—and a raise! Christine went above and beyond in every aspect of her work. She greeted me warmly with a genuine smile and made me feel valued as a customer. She listened attentively as I explained the style I was looking for and offered thoughtful suggestions based on her expertise, which I truly appreciated. Throughout the haircut, Christine was meticulous and professional, paying close attention to detail to ensure I was happy with the results. Not only was her technical skill outstanding, but she also made the experience enjoyable by engaging in friendly and meaningful conversation, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. im not satisfied with my haircut i didn’t get the same hair cut from last time one side is uneven and one side is still a little long on the other side i dont think the woman knew what she was doing or knew how to cut hair i wouldn’t recommend going here wasn’t worth $22 for a messed up haircut so now i got to find someone to fix my hair i will no longer go there

My wife went to the Great Clips location at 473 Kempsville Rd. for a wig styling in late February 24 and received, what I call a unwanted "bowl cut" by the employee, although my wife gave her vastly different instructions to her. My wife complained and they gave her money back BUT it required a $127 bill by a nearby Sleek Salon to PARTIALY undo the damage. Although we have repeatedly requested the $127 refund, and we have the above- mentioned salon bill, this Great Clips location has NOT responded at all. I and my entire family will not be using this business in the future unless they make full restitution. Just a warning to present and future customers.

Piss poor hair wash. I don’t understand how I leave with dandruff in my hair still and my scalp was barely scrubbed … my hair smells of mildew as if the towels have sat wet. The “stylist” grabbed the towel off her table that had used clippers/ combs with someone else’s hair on it and dried my hair with it! Literally was in and out in 5 minutes. Do not recommend.

Brittany is always very kind to me when I come for my haircut. What makes a great stylist is one who remembers her clients. Their last cut or styled hairdo. They offer suggestions and don’t always need your input. That does show their input and experience. I have had the worst luck lately but she even lends a good ear. A listener when her clients are present. My sister used to teach at Paul Mitchell so I’ve seen many. Thanks.

Good place for guys to get a quick haircut. The place is clean and well maintained. They keep their equipment properly clean and sanitized. The staff is pleasant and professional. Sign up so they can remember your preferences, and you’ll know the wait times. They’re fairly accurate times. The staff truly earn their tips!

I took my son there today and received the worst haircut I ever seen. I asked stylist to current it once and when my son came back it was worse. Horrible the person that cut his hair should not be allowed to cut hair period. Then being polite my son left a $5 tip. Bringing the total to $25. Magically when I got home and check my credit card it had increased to $30. I don’t know who runs this location but they should take a look at their stylist. I want my money back, including the extra money that they charge my card.
