One Of the Worst experiences ever i’d say, i went there somewhere around 6:15 (closing time 7:00), i made a reservation as well, the moment i reached there, The Woman named Silvia came to me & asked (haircut??), i nodded,& she was into that much rush lets sit on this,& start asking how would i want it,? i showed her the photo & explained clearly, she Started cutting the Hair, she was keep moving my head From Front to back(all the directions) & keep saying one thing rudely Don’t move (even when i wasn’t moving ), she was in a rush for going home, She cut my hair too shortly & i said that Merge my hair from the sides as well, clearly she forgot that, & she replied to me Rudely ( I know What I am Doing) , & the moment Haircut ended she gave the The Back mirror on my hand to check if she cut it right or not, She Was very Rude& Dont know how did she even get this job, , Without even Asking If the haircut is good or you need any changes she just said You are good to go & took the payment & not even said goodbye, One Of the Worst experience Ever, Never coming back to Great Clips (specially the clinton one) Silvia Was The Worst & rude, if i’d be the Owner, clearly kicked Out her of my store to save My store’s Image… Worst Haircut Everrr,

Dude this morning was awful. I gave him a reference pic of myself for how I wanted my hair, and he started brushing it out without using any detangler. Didn’t even use clippers for my fade, just scissors. He just started cutting and didn’t give af about the pic or what my hair looked like. He also just started cutting however he felt like until customer started coming in. At that point he stopped using the scissors and brought out clippers to trim the flyaways, even though my haircut at this point was uneven and lumpy. I told him he needed to fix it, which he did. Then he used the mirror to give me a look at the back and man, this dude didn’t even bother matching the fade around my head. I get he wanted to get to the other customers, but idk why he decided to start off using shears on my hair instead of clippers to start a buzzcut bc it takes too long. Then to try and rush me out with an uneven haircut, it was pretty bad service. I made sure he evened it out, but the way he cut is going to make it grow out in lumpy patches because he did it so unevenly. Also, instead of “lining up” my widows peak, ask me. He just messed up my hairline by constantly trimming it while keeping the other hair around it long. It’s cheap and convenient, and you get what you pay for. I honestly want to file a chargeback with my bank.

Extremely rough as if pulling hair out, just one hand operating the electric clipper and pulling back repeatedly. Also rammed it into my ear and caused it to bleed but didn’t even acknowledge it. Didn’t seem to care about specifications and just did whatever.

I arrived at Great Clips this morning with my 4.5 year old son and was greeted by Carmen. Very cold and not friendly right off the bat. Starts to sign me in and says "the haircut is for you?" I stated it was for my son. She makes a face and asks how old he is. Then replies conveniently that they don't typically cut hair for children under 5 and "she will try" Interestingly enough my other children have had their hair cut at great clips countless time, and the website itself not only shows infants but referencing getting your first haircut at great clips. Seconds into the chair, she begins to put the cloak on my son and he says it tickles. She immediately goes firm body with annoyance. I talk to him briefly and she proceeds. She then takes out the clipper and turns it on. My son raises his shoulders and says is it gonna tickle.? Carmen immediately says "no, Icant do this he's too young and starts to take the cloak off" Mind you he has had haircuts every two months since he has been one year old at countless places. I only chose this place because it was in passing and tomorrow is picture day. I thought great! After paying for parking and being met with such unprofessional and rudeness is appalling. Don't work at a place that offers kids haircuts if you yourself can not do it. Perhaps try to be warmer to customers, and maybe a child would feel safer in your space? If a grown up can feel your rigid personality, amplify that with a child. How gross. I won't be wasting my time at any great clips in the future.

I cant believe how horrific my experience could be. The attendant didn’t use water for the haircut thus her clippers were pulling the hair. Felt like a sheep 😂. When requested, she was mean and said you can handle more than this *****. Not only messed up the look but racist comments. I mean it seriously not recommended. Hope this helps to the next person checkin. RUN FOR THE GOD DAMN LIFE.

I had a really bad experience for my haircut. Krystal did not do a good job. My hair is curly and long. But they did not comb it before the cut and started directly using the clippers. As a result, the trim was all patchy and uneven.the cut was terrible. It's gonna be this for days. I felt the hairdresser wasn't even interested in giving me a good cut. Felt like they were shearing wool from a sheep. Absolutely disappointed.

I have been to a couple of great clips locations in Chicago. They have been great! Polite staff, nice haircut and decent prices. Now I usually visit the one at 117 N Clinton St.

Racist Spanish lady, these days. Waited for more than 30 minutes to get a haircut from her only to be informed that she was waiting for other checked in customers who not even physically present in the salon. She took up a customer who came after me and clearly did not look like he was IN LINE to get a haircut from her..The one at Madison/ presidential towers.

Wonderful checking in, in person then someone checks in online 20 minutes after and they give that individual a cut prior. Awful service.

Would recommend against coming here. Haircut was truthfully one of the worst ones I received. Stylist ignored most of what I requested (cut it too short, did not blend it well on the sides, did not taper my neckline).
