Extremely Bad Cut My hair was down to the middle of my back and layered. I went in for a trim. I don't like face framing layers or for the back to be longer than the rest. I asked for the length to be the same all around with basic layers. First they put in long layers that didn't show up with how my hair lays. Then when I asked for that to be fixed they changed the front length to be shoulder long fading to a longer back and the layers didn't blend, it was like a shelf. When I asked for the back to be shortened to match the (already shorter than I wanted) front so that it would at least be the same all around, they cut it all above the shoulders with incredibly short layers all around, including recutting the front despite it already being too short. I can't even put it up in a ponytail which was something I explicitly stated at the start I needed to be able to do. Also my hair is fine so the bottom length looks ratty and the layers frizz out. It's truly bad. Three different stylists worked on my hair and two of them gave me increasingly bad layers, including the face framing layers I explicitly did not want and will take me months to grow out. So I wouldn't recommend going here unless all you need is a simple short cut, like a typical men's haircut.

Update July 2024: The lady with white hair stylist (Saturday around 2pm) need to soften her sarcasm joke, it’s not funny at all. I got sick and tired listening to her stupid joke while cutting my hair. I was so tired to even care about how bad my hair cut is after all done because i just want to get the heck out. I should have wait for Jordan. I’ve been bringing my daughters here in the last few years, and they always left the store with a smile that last longer than 3 hours…so that’s a win for me. It’s gotta be because the hair stylist. Thank you.

I went last week. Showed a picture and made some adjustments. Tonya was my stylist. Do not recommend. She combed my head so hard. Felt like I was bleeding. I came home and washed my hair and tried styling it. The curtain bangs and not banging. They don’t blend into the rest of hair. Just blunt!!! She messed it up so bad.

My frustration is mostly with regard to the online check-in function, but given the signs up on the door requesting patrons to be patient it makes me thing that there are multiple factors at play. For background, I logged into the app and got my virtual place in line with approximately 40 minutes of wait time. Did my shopping around the area until the estimated time dropped down to around 1 minute and I walked in. All of the staff that I encountered were friendly but that 1 minute turned into an additional 20 minutes of wait time. This in an of itself is not an issue, the problem is I've never had this happen at any other location which is where my frustration arose. The haircut itself was good. It just felt very rushed and the stylist didn't seem to want to listen to the answers that I was giving her about what I wanted and instead just kind of did what they wanted to. I don't have any complaints on the results personally, but could have ended much worse off for someone that is more particular. As a whole, the overall experience was just ok, definitely not great but definitely not bad.

15 minute grace on online check in. It’s fine to change your policy but at least offer some grace. I had to go to a different location after waiting an hour or so because I showed up later than 15 minutes past the app time. It was an hour. The only reason I didn’t rush is because the same location told MDS not to worry about it.

I sat in the lobby waiting for a hair cut. The computer said it was a 70 minute wait so I waited on the two people cutting hair to make their way down the list however after each cut there were trips around the building changing songs and chit chatting and what not. I thought the long wait time was due to customers but in all honesty thwy seemed to F around a lot. I get it the owner is aware they have a staffing issue but just sad to experience.

Jordan did an awesome cut for me. I was wondering if I can request for her service if I do an online appointment. It was a walk in request & 30mins to closing. There were 4 online appointments ahead of me. It's closing time & yet Jordan did not rush with my cut nor was I turned away. I'll highly recommend her. The staff at this location was very courteous and listened to our request with patience and politeness. They handled our kid very nicely. I asked the service provider for her name, but I apologized to her for not being able to remember it. I do recommend this location for your regular hair-cuts/styles. (This review is for the saloon on Sawmill Road, near DSW and While Foods Market, in Dublin, Ohio)

Was in a rush and decided to go in after about a year or more. Waited longer to be seen than how long I spend on the chair, sides were not blended prpperly back was uneven neck was not cleaned. This is the exact reason I never go to any great clips.

We have been taking the children there ever since their first haircut. Some of the stylists still work there. Very professional and listen to what you need done. Definitely recommend them.
