Curtis is fantastic!!! He just knew how my hair should be cut and has continued to deliver a "great clip". I had been going to another Great Clips. A couple months ago they had an hour and a 1/2 wait but the Preston Hollow Village location didn't. So I thought i'd give it a try and I'm glad I did. Thanks 😊

I showed up after it said there was a 0 minute wait online. 3 different stylists were sitting on their phone and one got up to check me in and then didn’t say anything and went back to playing on their phone. 2 random people came in and got to somehow get a haircut when they weren’t even on the list. I’ve been 1st on their list since I got there and I’ve even wrote this entire review while waiting to get a haircut. This place needs an entire new staff or a manager around to make them actually do their job professionally.

I been a customer with great clips for years and I love going there My kids and my grandkids grew up in there coming to get a haircut and never not one time saw a fly in that salon it is so clean and the stylist are so polite and friendly.

Went in for a haircut, I asked for a 1 inch trim and lady cut way more than that and on top of that she cut one side of my hair shorter than the other and it was so obvious, I am not sure how she did not notice. I returned to get it fixed and different lady still left it uneven. I am never returning to any great clips location because they obviously don’t care about their employees talent and just hire anyone to cut hair.

Beyond awful. My child and husband just got cuts there and both are terrible. Uneven, ugly, patchy. The staff is poorly trained, inexperienced, and rude. Do not go here.

I went to this location twice and Curtis was my stylist both times. Unfortunately him and the other stylist are both very slow. Both times I went, I had to point out issues with my haircut not being even.

Had an amazing experience with Jeff just now. He was great to talk with and so welcoming throughout my time here! Great with scissors and has a good grasp on customer service. Haven’t had my hair cut by a barber since 2020 and I must say Jeff is my new barber!! Thank you so much Jeff! See you in 3 weeks!

I'm stunned at the evil haircut I got this time from the manager, Scott (Preston Hollow Great Clips, Dallas, TX) when previously he had repaired a cut by another staffer. I did notice a bad mood in him when I walked in -- and, dear God, help me next time not to overlook this! -- I should have left. But after watching him care for the man he was working on -- and remembering how he catered to another man with hot towels and back and forth to different chairs for different services -- I just tried to be upbeat when I sat down in his chair. I asked for a little more than an inch off (I demonstrated and we talked about 1-1/4" off) -- my hair was about three inches down my back -- but then I made the TERRIBLE mistake of saying, "Okay, just a tiny bit more because it's so hot outside." Seeing as how I had been SO precise to the quarter inch, I never dreamed in a million years he would go rogue. What I got was almost 7 inches off the center back of my hair in a straight line (no finesse or shaping) -- that whole section of my hair just chopped; there's no other word for it. I keep chatising myself for not being focused enough to comprehend what a bad mood in a haircutter can mean. I also can't stop crying because this was pure cruelty. UPDATE: AFTER A LOT OF THOUGHT, I know why Scott attacked my hair the way he did: He was angry because staffers were not showing up for work, which meant he would have to work longer. He had complained to me about this twice before, and I remember he mentioned it shortly after I sat down. But what he did was not just hurtful to me but potentially dangerous. It was passive-aggressive behavior with a pair of scissors! He could have just as easily stabbed me!!! The man is unstable and should be fired and I will be filing a complaint with the state of Texas licensing board about it.
