I have never been more devastated in my life. I came in with beautiful long hair that reached the middle of my back or close to it. I specifically asked for just a trim and my dead ends to be cut. Even after cutting started I had stopped my stylist and clarified how much would be cut. She claimed only 2 inches. I asked for the layers and my hair to be framed to my face. Now I had left with 6-8 inches of hair gone. No layers that are even. And the framing around my face is at the minimum one inch longer than the other side. I’ve never cried so much from a hair cut in my life. When I had mentioned it I was offered a free style which means nothing when I have to look like this everyday. As if I would come back. I went back in and got a refund just for the cut but nothing else that I had purchased that day. Again like this fixes what I have to walk out and look like on a daily basis. I am having to pay someone else money to fix what was given to me. The stylist I spoke with is going to have to take more hair and felt so incredibly sorry for me and the way I looked. She said “no we need to get you as soon as possible so you don’t have too look like that. We might have to give you bangs to fix the awful layers and framing”. Ivori was very nice but I would not recommend her at all. I was very specific and easy as to what I wanted and received the worst cut of my life. To be fair as I walked in she expressed how tired she was and was ready to go home and I offered to come back tomorrow and she said she would take care of me either way. I wish I never walked into this great clips in my life. Now with the hair that I have lost already I will need to pay more to have even more removal just to fix what this place has caused me. Do not use this great clips if you don’t have to! I mean it with my entire being. I never leave reviews anywhere but I felt this strongly about it that I would never want this to happen to anybody! Before and after pictures included! Wouldn’t even give them 1 star if I didn’t have to.

Went in to get a simple cut a 4 all around and when I get home I see there are still hairs longer than the others definitely not tipping next time fs

Would greatly recommend this hair cutting location. Ivory did an amazing job cutting my daughters hair!! You rocked it! Kept my daughter entertained and engaged in the haircut the whole time :)

Had a great experience stopping in on my lunch break. I checked in online and was seen as soon as I arrived. I let them know I had a special occasion coming up the person cutting my hair took extra time and care to ensure it was perfect!! Great Job!!

I had such a wonderful experience! Alyssa K was my hair stylist and she was absolutely amazing - kind, talented, and genuinely great all around! She really listened to what I wanted for my hair and gave me the best cut I've ever had (I usually have some anxiety about even getting a trim because in the past it never comes out well - not this time though!). In addition, each staff/stylist that were there and helped me on the phone and then check me, in were sweet and helpful. I 100% recommend getting your hair done here! Thank you! Especially to Alyssa K!

The "stylist" I had during the closing shift on April 10, 2023 at the location on E 20th Ave in Denver was the worst, most disrespectful one I've experienced in my entire life. She is the only person who has ever contentiously claimed that my usual haircut for the past 30 years would look bad on me, arguing that she knew better because she works with hair in general, despite me personally working with my own hair all my life. She is also the only barber I've ever had who claimed that my chosen haircut wasn't layered, contradicting at least half a dozen other barbers in 3 different states over the last few decades. She initially refused to execute the haircut with its necessary layers, then begrudgingly took 3 tries to get it halfway right; however, it was clearly a visibly sloppy hack job that looked like someone had taken a used kitchen knife to my hair, as if she intentionally butchered it to try and prove her point. I have examined my hair closely & with the layers it is basically what I wanted, but as if done by a kindergartner struggling with fine motor control. The layers have no gradual increase in length & appear to have been chopped by a blunt instrument. In short, my experience here was a profound dishonor & embarrassment to the hair stylist profession as a whole. Never again for this entire franchise. FOLLOW-UP: I called requesting a redo & Annie, the manager, was warm & friendly, as well as diligent about doing her best to mitigate the choppiness & make the layers more even, which she did on short notice & free of charge. If you're here, I would recommend asking for her.

I give them 2 stars because the service doesn't take all day. But on the flip side, fast service isn't always complete: I took a young family member there recently to get a wash and hair trimmed into layers. After the stylist trimmed my family member's hair, she declared herself "done". My family member got up with damp, limp hair. I was completely shocked. Never in my history of visiting hair salons has a stylist let a client leave with damp, limp hair. I asked "Isn't drying part of the service? I can't even see the style. Please dry it". The stylist I am talking about was the dark-haired plus size stylist. She was definitely offended that I requested she dry the hair. She still left the hair partially damp under the excuse that she didn't want it to frizz. Type 2 hair...if you don't know how to work with any other hair besides type 1, go back to school. Wont be back.

I've found my new standard for sure. As a woman with a mohawk, I usually get someone who can't use clippers at a salon, or laughs at me at a barbers. Sara listened to what I needed and did exactly what I asked for. I'm super happy and will be using her going forward.

Long wait & bad service. Asked for a cut and wash with two-three inches off. I Didn’t get a wash and therefore my hair wasn’t all the way wet. Cut came out uneven with my curly hair and the guy had to cut 5-6 inches off the try to even if out (it’s still uneven). Guy cutting my hair didn’t care, just wanted to go home. 0/10 don’t recommend for the ladies, I won’t be back.

Just had a super cute haircut done by Annie. It looks great!!! Several people told me I look 15 years younger! It's super short just what I wanted. Thank you Annie and Great Clips you guys are very skilled and so nice and so inexpensive. Will definitely be going back!!!

Great cut, stellar. But, all the while the company is running a totally bogus coupon campaign. They suck you in with offers on Facebook and elsewhere they’ve no intention of honoring. None. Questions? You’ll be referred to an email address to which the response is: we disavow all responsibility. Nice.

I truly love both the price point AND the fact that they actually write down what you like and hook you up next time. I've spent more for worse quality, but I go to this great clips and have great service every time
