Bro if ur looking for one sentence that describes what u can expect - Before & After Squid Games 456. My son was already apprehensive about letting this angry bird looking woman touch his hair and I should not have brushed it off as him just being nervous. He had a few very good reference pics and we specifically clarified that he wanted a low taper fringe with a little length still on the sides and longer on the top. (He had almost shoulder length hair.) She turned him into Robaldo. (Almost)

Do not go here trust me people they gave my little brother a bowl cut he asked for a low taper fade I recommend y'all to go Jt chopshop its down the street they cut really good!!!!!

Got a decent haircut. The only reason why I’m giving this 2 star is because the Thai lady that was cutting my hair flat out refused to give me a fade on my haircut, despite my request. When you flat out refuse the request, that leaves a bitter taste for the customer themselves. I understand if you don’t know how to do it because there was another lady that seemed to know how to do a fade at the time I was there and you could’ve just taken me to the other, but instead, she just did not want to do it. For $19, it’s disappointing especially when there’s hair salon that can do basic fades for around that same price. At least the haircut was alright.

I genuinely think some stylists do not care and want to get the haircut done as fast as possible. Just got a haircut and was done in like 3 minutes. My stylist’s attitude and tone was a “let’s get this over with” type and I got butchered and she might as well have shaved my entire head at this point. Didn’t fade anything, didn’t blend anything, went too high on the sides and cut too much on top. It’s understandable that this place is always a small hit or big miss but to be specific and say how you want it and don’t want it and still have it be completely something else along with rushing is just bad. I only ever had one amazing stylist, Michael, who actually listened to me, asked me questions, took his time, and understood me.

My younger sister and I usually go to a different Great Clips with amazing stylists who do our hair well every time we go there. However, we were needing haircuts and in the area, thinking that it would be alright to visit a new Great Clips. We should have just gone the 45 minutes out of the way of what we were doing to go to the usual location we go to, because we had an awful experience. As soon as we walked in, I could smell weed, which—while it obviously didn’t mean the stylists were smoking weed—should have been a bad enough omen to turn around and leave. We were taken care of quickly, but the woman who started on my hair, closest to the register with purple hair (who I didn’t get the name of because she didn’t give us our receipt) was fast to be very dismissive towards me. She asked what I wanted done, and I told her what I say to other stylists every time, “face-framing curtain bangs, shoulder length, with layers.” While this was seemingly an easy-to-understand request which she didn’t ask anything else about after, so I assumed she understood, she did every single part off in some way. She gave me uneven bangs that were in no way face-framing or curtain bangs, and the layers were sloppy and barely-there, which might have been because she did them on my hair when wet, which I have never had done for layers before, but I assumed she knew what she was doing. After she was “done” 5 minutes after I had sat down, which I have never had my hair done that quick before with my rather thick hair and layers, I asked a question to clarify about the layers. While it was a sort of stupid question, I am very socially anxious and not very good at communication since I have autism, and usually people are more understanding, especially hair stylists when asked a question about HAIR, which you’re trusting them to not mess up. However, she acted as if I was an idiot and made fun of my question. I, of course, gave up on trying to improve my hair style because I am, again, autistic and horrible with communication, especially when faced with teasing, and told her it was fine. Then came my sister, who sat with a young girl, right next to my stylist. Previous notes on the razor length and blending of the Mohawk-style cut she has were in the computer, although the stylist was quick to turn to the stylist I had, not knowing that a “Mohawk” wasn’t just shaved sides and gelled, spiked-up hair in the middle. She also didn’t know how to blend, which I feel is something you should know if you’re a certified hairstylist, although I began to doubt if she was by the end. The stylist with purple hair ended up doing it for her, although she blended the sides poorly, not at all how the notes from previous stylists clearly stated, spoke condescendingly to my sister after she changed her mind about something she hadn’t even started on yet, so it wasn’t like it was hindering her work, and left multiple parts poorly cut, choppy, or seeming not finished. For both of us, it just seemed like she wanted to get it done with as quick as possible, not caring how it looked. I recommend not going here, or at least not getting styled by the woman with purple hair. We’re going to our normal Great Clips tomorrow to get our hair fixed.

I would not go back to this salon. The young asian lady was very unfriendly and I got home and I see that the haircut is choppy.

There’s a lady on the right side of the shop, DO NOT GO TO HER. one thing she did do good was making sure to not listen to her client. Everyone else, they are quick and good. I just advise making sure you get anyone that is on the left side of the shop. I appreciate the lady with purple hair helping us paying out.

The worst haircut in my whole life, the lady in the first seat next to the cashier (don’t know her name) she was rude and very hateful, I think she doesn’t like people of other race, she wasn’t professional, the haircut was messed up and I had go to another barber to fix it, very disappointed, and I ill keep putting my reviews on every site i get my hands on. Also, there are other hairstylists are very nice and professionals except that one.

They didn't want to dry my hair...takes too much time they say...said it would cost $55.00 for a dry. Hope my regular stylist gets back from vacation soon. Not coming back here for sure!!!

I go to this location on N. Beach Street because they are are extremely friendly. The facility is very clean. My stylist is Christina "Tina" and she does a fantastic job. I highly recommend if you are looking for an outstanding stylist I recommend "Tina". Thank you Tina for a great cut! Papa Jake

The asian old lady i guess she is thai who even could not speak english properly, cut my hair in her own way than i said. Also she was talking about her 30 years of experience in saloon. Shame on you. No more words. Never visit this place, if you want to go there ask for another stylist.

Just had the best haircut I've had in a while. May did my one length haircut and she was a delight. I was in and out even with getting my thick hair shampooed. I've had people in the past struggle with my hair type and she knew exactly what she was doing. I will be back to see her again.

Yelled a have hurtful comment so everybody could laugh i didn’t get a hair cut she cut 1/2 inch to the back of my hair didn’t cut my bangs at all Then she made a joke about a regular costumer So no cut but jokes. She should be fired never going back
