This place is gross. My hairdresser didn’t sanitize the clippers before using them on me. She only halfway brushed the leftover hair off and used it on the back of my neck. The cape also had something on it that looked like blood. Other than that, the actual haircut was fine.

Fantastic customer service! Todd helped my shy teenager get exactly what they wanted without judgement. He and Sarah were hard at work when we arrived after making an online appointment close to closing. Very pleasant and open atmosphere! Absolutely recommend!

I’ve gotten my hair cut here for a long time without issues. Today I got absolutely butchered and I will never forget it. I asked for my beard to be cleaned up for wedding this week and the guy chopped off the top half of my mustache leaving me a pencil thin one. I grew my beard for the last 4 months going through itchy stages. Uncomfortable lengths through summer so I could have a nice beard this winter. I finally got it to the point where it could be shaped. By the end I asked for his clippers and shaved everything off. He didn’t ask if I wanted my mustache touched he just went rogue. When I said there was a problem he honestly didn’t take it seriously “it’ll grow back quick” “no man you don’t need to shave it all off”. HE DESTROYED my mustache. The whole thing wasn’t very serious at all to him. I’m highly disappointed with how I look with a friends wedding 5 days away and the dude didn’t care. If you get your beard touched up here give very specific instructions because “clean up” apparently means chop off half your mustache.

I'm new to the area and see a Great Clips everywhere so I've given them a try maybe 5 times in 3 different locations, and my experience has been similar each time; get me in and out as quickly as possible. The quality of the cuts were marginal each time. Their waiting list app is pretty convenient but I feel like their leaning on that at the expense of a quality customer experience. I might not be their target customer.

I’ve been coming here for almost a year off and on. I always get a good haircut here. Several different people have cut my hair and it’s always been a good cut. Last few times Alethea I’ve seen Alethea and no exception, im always happy with the results. I will continue to go to this location and I recommend it to others.

I just had a haircut at the 400 E McBee Ave, Suite 113 Greenville, SC 29601 Location. My barber was Alethea. I’ve been going to Great Clips for over a decade now and have never had as bad as an experience getting my haircut before. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had in my life. My head was getting beat like a battering ram with the electrical razor, I felt like a sheep getting sheered at a farm. And when it came to simple directions of length, too much hair was taken from my sides and my top. I asked for inch taken off the top and upon seeing the results an additional 1/4 inch, and Alethea took an additional inch off. My hair will grow back. But I will never be returning to Great Clips again. Alethea also tried to charge me twice for the haircut.

Todd cut my hair yesterday. This was the best haircut I've ever had. He did exactly what I asked him to do. My hair is thick and curly. Most stylists just whack it all off and I leave very disappointed. Not so with Todd Thank you SO much, Todd. I will definitely be back and ask for you !!

I just cut my hair at mcbee location, Greenville, sc. This lady, African American, acted like she's cutting the lawn! Bad hair cut, I wanted to stop her, but I didn't, she left hair as long as an inch on the back of my ear. Then when I was paying, she tried to make me pay twice! She's not honest! She had a nest of some kind on her head, she looks like Marge Simpson. A shame if a hairstylist doesn't know how to use a hair clipper. My head still hurts, because she pushed the clipper very hard. I've been coming to this salon for years and didn't have a similar incident. For the price I paid, I ask and request a good hair cut. It was a very bad experience. I need a refund for a bad hair cut and injuries to my head. I called the salon the same day and complained to the manager. Please hire professional stylists, not lawn care workers? Thank you. Regards.

Both times I have gone to this location A+ service, the last time I went I had to shave my head and the awesome master barber saw that I was very upset about it and put a smile on my face with his compliments and after it was done, paid for my haircut for me. Made the sting of going bald a little better. Will be back once it grows out a little to keep it looking good

I called at 515pm on a Saturday? Just to make sure it was actually okay if I showed up late or if they had any appointments available. The lady told me on the phone that " You're good. As long as you get here by 5:45 we can squeeze you in". So instead of looking for other places that were available, I drove to this location. When I arrived they said " we're sorry honey, we got booked up online. We're not taking any more appointments today". Even though I expressed to them that I was the one who called, and they said I'd be okay. They still said they would not take me. Halfway decent customer service would have actually taken my name over the phone when they knew I was only a few minutes away.... Yet they led me on a goose chase 15 minutes out of my way just to be turned down.. pathetic and inconsiderate.

If you want a good basic haircut this is the perfect place. Use the app and you can check to see if there is a wait and plan ahead or run errands while checked in. The prices are reasonable, the technicians are patient and knowledgeable and there is rarely a long wait. I am very pleased with their services.

Sarah was lovely. She looked at a reference photo I brought for 5 seconds and said "no problem" she talked to me about the process the whole way and made sure that we were doing things the right way and that the cut was progressing nicely. I was completely satisfied in what she did and I felt so good I couldn't stop smiling afterwards. I was very happy with the professionalism and down to earth vibes in this location.

The pre check-in app is great. it saves a lot of time. The hsir stylists are friendly and polite. They also do a great job cutting your hair.

We are traveling, and I stopped into Great Clips , needing a hairdresser to wash my long very curly hair. Brittany greeted me with a big smile and told me she would be happy to help. Since she also had long curly hair she knew just what to do! Thank you Brittany!!
