Had to stop in the middle of the cut because it was going terribly. Open food at the shampoo bowl and at stations, head was lifted too high during shampoo so the back of my shirt got wet through the towel, dirty cape put on me with someone else’s hair, her scissors were sitting dirty on a used towel at the station and she still used them on me. Seemed to understand what I wanted with the cut but terrible execution. When almost finished she offered to keep trying to get it how I wanted but actually said she was scared to go shorter in the areas that still needed it so I stopped there and went somewhere else. Should have left as soon as I saw how dirty everything was honestly, this should be shut down by the state board.

The worst haircut I've ever gotten, the lady had the worst attention, listening to music in head phones and singing instead of paying attention to the job, rushed through the haircut, very rough with the clipers, and the results were horrible. The military in basic training haircuts, were more gentle than her. She reduced the price of the haircut and gave an insincere apology, that kind of haircuts should be illegal to have a license for that service.

Polite and courteous has been my experiences. I would say if you had one bad experience, may just be one person but others are there to help. Those that may have caused an issue may no longer be there

If I could rate them a zero I would.. I’m literally crying right now. I asked for my hair to be just below the shoulders and my hair is literally only 2 inches long now. I basically have a man’s haircut. The lady smelled so badly of cigarettes and her sweater was covered in cat hair. There was no consultation she just started cutting my hair. Please do not go to this location!! There’s a reason why there’s no wait time..

I’ve been here for a trim and it was mediocre, so I can speak to the quality of work but my biggest issue is the staff smoking out front. It pushed us away from eating next door and the smoke cause me to use my inhaler and nausea (adding I’m pregnant). It’s 2024 - please encourage them to smoke out back or more than 500 ft from eating spaces. Legally it’s more than feet from the entrance, but second hand smoke carries more than 30 ft…

Don’t do it! I’m angry at myself for being cheap and I got a terrible haircut because of it. I specifically stated to please leave it long but I walked out with a straggly shoulder length mullet that’s embarrassing 🙈 and beyond disappointing. Next time, I’ll use a real salon.

Have used various great clips locations throughout Jacksonville. My notes have always been the same. Specifically says scissor cut. I confirmed before cut with stylist. And then she proceeded to use clippers and with one motion shaved the side of my head. No way to fix it at that point. Cheryl blamed the notes of the last person until she saw they have been the same for so long. Will not come back to this location again.

Can't say the best. But ok for the price. Located opposite to southeast Jacksonville library. Joining the queue with app is better as we can avoid waiting there. With coupon, it cost around 10$ for a hair cut.

I am consistent customer with great clips but I am extremely unhappy to go this store since the associate that did my hair cut and other associate which i notified my issue was racist to me and not acknowledge my issue and told me its done with my hair trim with in the 5 minute’s and upon telling her that my hair cut from the back its not blended properly and its not even , she did not fixed it instead she told me to get out from my store and when i said i want to speak with manager about this experience she didn’t let me talk to manager and claimed her friend is is manager but she was not . This is last time i am giving my business to great clips. They are not trained and it’s worst decision to go for there service. Its shame you behave such way with customers and losing your business.

If I could give a zero I would. I took my daughter there to get her hair washes I called before I went the lady that answer the phone was very nice and the other lady worked there too but that Courtney was very nasty telling my daughter out loud about her hair because she had just took her braids out she was very rude and my daughter cried when she got in the car we talking about a child. I wanted to address her but I just paid her and left. But the other ladies was very respectful not that Courtney. Never will I go back again.

The ladies do a great job. My mom lives in an assisted living facility close to here so I bring her every three weeks. They have her cut saved in the computer so they know what do every time.
