I have been going to Great Clips for years. My favorite go to is Melissa at the Sherrill Hill Center. She always gives me great haircuts.

I have had some mixed experiences here, but today was especially bad. Customer service was great at first. I have the most simple haircut, but the lady cutting my hair decided she was going to switch it up without asking me. When I politely reminded her how I style it and how my hair is naturally, she got upset and started cutting faster and sloppily. She also stopped making conversation completely at this point. I wanted to stop her and go somewhere else, but I decided to let her finish(while politely reminding her what I actually wanted done). At the end I was left with an uneven bowl cut, and she basically told me I was done. The whole experience turned passive aggressive just because I reminded her what I wanted my hair to look like, and I left with a jagged, slanted bowl cut. (First non positive review I’ve ever left)

I am so, so unbelievably mad right now. When I ask for a 1 guard on the sides and back, and half inch off the top, that DOES NOT mean I want to be lined up like a hood rat. She didn't ask what I wanted, and obviously didn't care what I wanted. This is RIDICULOUS to say the least. I blow dry my hair up every morning, and now I'm going to have to buy product and learn to style me hair differently until this grows back out. I called in to complain about this mess and the girl who answered said, "you can come back in and we can cut it off." Absolutely zero help. I want a refund. In full. I want someone to contact me about this. This is unacceptable. I see hairdressers complaining about not making a living wage, but I have found a total of THREE who deserve a living wage in the 22 years I've been going to great clips. I wish I could sue you guys.

I don't know why you don't want to take your own coupons, but I'll never be back. $18 for a haircut I can do myself is an absolute ripoff.
