I had come into this location and had a good hair cut once before- so I was not expecting what I receieved this second time around. I asked for a long layered haircut at my shoulders- I recieved a piecey asymetrical cut with layers so short I am going to have to wait for my hair to grow out to fix it. Not only was this cut not what I asked for, it was done poorly- the lengths are all really different around my head and the stylist did not even check if they were cut evenly. I always love when they ask you if you like it, and you have to weakly say it's okay, becuase what are they going to do once they have butchered it? Glue it back on? Get pissed because you don't like the job they have done and butcher it more? I would just avoid this place entirely- who knows what you are going to get...

They were nice, but I did not get the hairstyle I wanted. I had a picture open the whole time. She said she would try, but the outcome was not even close. When I got home I ended up crying. It looked like I let my hair air dry and then slept on it honestly. What I really wanted and would have probably saved me the heartache would have been the volume on the bang/part I repeatedly said I wanted. I won’t be returning to this hairdresser.

I brought my family in today for hair cuts. The woman who greeted and signed us in was just not nice. She was impatient and rude. After collecting our names my adult daughter looked at me and I knew immediately that I was not overreacting to the interaction. We simply left and will never go back again. I wish it was different, we've been here plenty of times, never like this.

I have literally never left a review anywhere, but this place got it. I got about 3 inches more chopped off than I asked for, even showed MULTIPLE pictures. I was growing my hair out for months and my mom insisted I tried a new place as to my usual barber, now it’s gonna take months to even get back half of what I had. It was the lady with the short curly brown hair, even had the audacity to ask me, “how is it” and hand me a small mirror. Terrible place, there’s a SmartStyle inside the Walmart right down the street, save your money, do yourself a favor, and don’t even take a second glance at this place. Like I said, I’ve never left a review, no matter how bad of an experience, BUT THIS PLACE GOT IT. Hats, hoodies, and bandannas are gonna be my new life and happiness for the next several months. I’ve had many bad chopped haircuts, but nothing like this. Quite literally gave me trust issues to ever try a new barber. Duces.

Steer clear! Only went here because my hairdresser closed. I had long hair past my shoulders. Asked for it to hit my shoulders with long layers. Lady said she had 38 years experience and that i was in good hands. She chopped my hair! Not only was the back uneven, but one side was shorter than the other, with layers that went to only 3"-4" long, while the other side was down to the middle of my ear. It looks like a child cut my hair with dull scissors. Now I have to pay more at another salon to have it fixed.

I do not recommend!!! My second time going 2 days in a row. I couldn't get ahold of anybody to ask about fixing my haircut that was by the "manager" of the store. When I walked in she seems very shocked yet nervous about why I came back. I told her I couldn't call to find out how I would go about getting my hair fixed, she blamed my haircut on the fact I was nervous which in turn made her nervous? I'm usually very picky when it comes to who touches my hair. I will never come back!!

Downloading an app to make an appointment is a little annoying. Hopefully they cut and style women’s hair better than they do men. Lining up a hairline straight isn’t a strength of theirs. Neither is styling boys hair.

I (kerstain) had a terrible experience. It took me well over 2 years to grow my hair out long as it was. I go in and ask for a trim and some layers nothing major and she chopped all my hair off its now to my neck and then chopped off almost all my hair for the layers. It looks awful and choppy almost like I got a mullet.. it looks awful.

I went in to get a skin fade and the lady left insane amounts of long hair on the sides. 110% will never be coming back here. I came home and very lightly ran my hand through my hair and a WADD of hair just fell out.... NEVER AGAIN!

Not helpful & Not accommodating. When we arrived no customers were there they weren’t busy.I had a procedure that prevents me to wash my hair at the moment while I’m recovering. I asked to have my hair washed and blow dried. She told me it’s $50 just to blow dry. I specifically said I do not need my hair styled, I only need it washed and dry. She said if she uses just air it’s less but if she picks up a brush it’s $50. I asked so if u touch my hair with a brush just to dry not style or shape its $50? Yes! That’s ridiculous. You have to run a comb through someone hair to dry it or it’ll be all knotted up. They were all sitting around no one was there they weren’t busy. They just didn’t want to be bothered. If they were busy I could understand but only one lady was working on my husband who is a regular there.

Went here on 08/20 to get my son a hair cut . She cut his hair in about 4 min and butchered it . His side burns are uneven looks like she cut them with a damn kitchen knife , the worst haircut he has ever gotten, I’m no barber but I should of done it myself because it looks like she learned on YouTube ! I’ll be adding photos when he gets home from school which he had to go with a hoodie to cover his hair . They were very nice tho

Never ever again. Chop shop. I have short hair but needed a trim. I ended up with a stylist who said 'relax I have 38 years in this business'. Well now I know why I couldn't relax chopped up my hair in less then 5 minutes. No clean up on the edges or back of hair . Would not recommend unless all you want is your hair chopped.

The last 2 times I’ve went here they have completely messed my hair up. And I usually love coming to great clips . I told the lady what I wanted and she completely did what I didn’t want, and she argued with me about what she thought I said. Telling me the name of the fade is wrong. I’ll never get another haircut again without showing a picture of what I actually want. Because telling a person clearly doesn’t work. I am very disappointed and idk if I’ll be going back to this great clips ever again. It’s not the business fault but SOME OF the people who work at the martinsburg great clips just don’t care about the customers

Very disappointed. I was there when they opened at 10am. I was back in my car at 10:10. Unfortunately, I got what I paid for! Nothing is even, finding pieces that dont match when trying to style. Ugh!
