I asked for the sides to have a fade, no fade, asked for a 1 inch off the top my hair is 8 inches now its a buzzcut. she also ruined my whole hair a tiny bald spot is left ill never be coming here, she was the skinny girl with red hair

I am feeling as though Great Clips isn’t so great. Last week, Sunday, I checked in at about 2:30. According to the site, there was a 20 minute wait. A short bit later, I got a call from the store. Here’s how it went: We’ve decided to close early. I said, I only live a couple minutes away, I’ll come right down as your hours state you’re supposed to be open until 4. No, we’ve decided to close early and you’ll have to check in tomorrow. I’ll be working tomorrow. Oh, sorry, goodbye. Needless to say Great Clips lost out and I didn’t get a haircut. I like this particular store because I live only 5 minutes away. Plus, if there is a longer wait, I can go to the restaurant a couple doors down and have a snack while I wait. So, Here it is today Saturday April 8, 2023. Web site says the store is open until 5pm. I look at the map. Most of the Great Clips have long wait times. Timber ridge has the shortest at 40 minutes, so, I check in about 2:45. I have no where in particular to be so I get ready and head on over. Arriving AT 3:15. As I pull into the parking lot, two employees are standing outside the door, look and me sniggering and lock the door and leave. THEY DIDN’T EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO TEXT OR CALL ME to tell me they are closing early…AGAIN! So this weekend I drove to the store to find them laughing at me and I STILL didn’t get a haircut. I went back on the site. It showed Timber Ridge open but not accepting online check ins. I wonder how many people drove to the store to get a haircut to find them closed? Not very good for the reputation of Great Clips. While I was on the site, I found another great clips 20 minutes away at the other end of the city that was still accepting online check ins. 55 minute wait, ok. Had a beer since I was already at Timber ridge, then went up to the other store. Thankfully they did not pull the same stunt. And after 2 weeks of Timber ridge bull, I finally got my hair cut. I am tired of Great Clips shenanigans. There are many other salons and hair stylists within a couple miles of home. I think I may need to rethink my choices. I’ve always been pleased with Great Clips services but these last two weeks? Not at all. Please figure out what is going wrong at this location or I will take my business elsewhere.

The service from the hairstylist was excellent. Gave a superior cut and was very friendly. Took the time to address all my concerns. My hairstylist should be an example of what customer service should be.

Jest got my haircut 30 minutes ago with my brother. First of all the lady working their who did my brothers hair completely ignored everything he asked for and gave him blunt, crooked side burns that look completely disgusting. Second I specifically asked the other lady who cut my hair for layers. She said it would look great if I had long layers. I said okay and then when she was done I said could we cut them a little shorter and she in fact did not and shut me down for the haircut I specify asked for. Then she used her hands to blow dry my hair and was practically ripping out my hair while she did it. When I got home and looked at it I found prices that were drastically shorter in the underside of my hair with no visible layers at all. I would’ve been fine with the shorter pieces of she would’ve just showed me when we were there but she did not. It took me several years to grow my hair out to this length only for it to be mutilated by this very unprofessional and untrained worker, who couldn’t even let me know that she messed up. I will never go here again. And I hope that these workers are evaluated again for their abilities. Do better.
