I trusted her with my long hair went in Friday asked for long layers she cut short layers. She cut off so much and I made it very clear I wants to keep my length her name was Victoria I noticed instead of taking the tangles off at the bottom of my hair she just cut so much. Like girl just stop being lazy and untangle it I knew it was a red flag when she wanted to condition my hair to help with the tangles she seemed clueless never book with Victoria

This place refused to give me a haircut because I wouldn't give them my phone number. Apparently a customers right to privacy isn't a concern for them. What business needs my phone number, my first and last name and my address to get a freaking haircut? Completely ridiculous.

I have officially given up in great clips. At several locations i have received a bad cut. I went in with a short-ish wolfcut and asked for texture WITHOUT losing length. What i left with is a butchered choppy mullet. I'm devastated and can't stop crying. Avoid at all costs.

I had Victoria who had to cut my teenage Granddaughter’s hair shorter than we really wanted because she didn’t want to take the time to comb the tangle out. But my main concern was the tipping options. I am an older person and tried to customize the tip because there’s only certain options and accidentally pushed the $10 tip. She said she couldn’t do anything about it because it had already gone through. So I paid for a $10 tip for a $19 haircut. I’ll never go back there.

I had a terrible cut that had to be redone. The hairstylist was a sweet girl but did not know how to do a Bob style cut, and did explaine the style I wanted in good detail. My hair was all un even and it did not curl under at all. Usually in a under cut the hair stylist will cut the under hair lower than the top so it will curl under. The stylist will usually use a hair clips to make sure the layers are cut right, Mimi did not check for uneveness did not use a hair clip. I DID NOT want this stylist to correct my hair so I went to the Great clips on Indian Bend Road and low and behold there was the same stylist. "Mimi"was working there So I felt I had to go to the Chapparal and Hayden location so I did not have to endure more problems. The stylist at the Chapparal location, explained that I have to go to the same location that I originally got my hair cut. I showed her how the under part of my hair was very uneven and begged the stylist to please correct it. The new hairstylist said she would correct it this one time, she also said the other hairstylist that previously cut my hair did have many complaints in the past. In conclusion the redo was very well done and I am happy with it. I will go back to the Chapperal location in the future. I am sorry I had to give the name of the hair stylist that did the bad job but I feel that maybe the hairstylist would bennifit from additional training on a simple 'Bob" cut. I do like Great Clips however, I have noticed many salons have a high turnover rate so it is sometime hard to go to the same stylist when you find one that does an excellent job like the one at the Scottsdale AZ Chapparal location.

I just wanted a trim. I now have very short bangs, and a very uneven bob. It will be a couple of months for it to grow out. I am very unhappy.

Botched haircut!! Showed her a picture of what I wanted now I gave no hair in the back and the front is too long looks like dog ears. So disgusted and I have to walk around like this. She said bobs were her thing apparently not

Horrible, horrible, and just plain horrible! The lady butchered my son's hair. She started out doing just fine and when he learned forward at one point and specifically told her, "that's fine. I DON'T want it anymore length taken off." She acted as though she did not understand a word he just said, and pulled him back in the chair and proceeded to chop away. All in all, worst experience there. Will not be going back!

I had a few bad experiences at other great clips the last few hair cuts but I loved my stylist at this location! She really cut my hair correct and cute! I’m very happy and excited that I have a place to go back to now

I went to 4501 e Thomas. And the young lady made me feel like an idiot for my online check in. To be clear, she was so out of line in her customer service. But I like great clips. So I went to see Marta @ camelback Rd and 32 st. And she was amazing. One bad day from an inadequate employee won't deter me . Thanks so much MARTA. !

I've been going to various Great Clips locations in various states as I've been traveling and it's worked out pretty well. Not this time! I ended up with the worst haircut I've ever had and the first bad haircut in decades. She cut my hair with a razor and a very different technique that totally didn't work. It's a short cut that will take a while to grow out before I can get it fixed. And, now, I'm a little afraid to go to another Great Clips.

Martha was lovely and exceptionally quick and while she looked at my profile online she began to cut so quickly that she chopped the hair over my ears. I suggest that she speak with her customers before she starts to trim.
