Garbage! Hands down the worst haircut that I’ve received within the last 20 years. I asked for a very basic men’s haircut. Completely uneven. A walrus could’ve done better. I’ve been to remote villages in Bosnia, Moldova, India, etc and they have all been better than this. No joke. Save your time, your money and your hair. What a disgrace.

I’ve gone to great clips on and off for years, it wasn’t until 2022 that I stopped because I received a botched haircut, what I asked and shows, I received the opposite and had to live with a messed up haircut for weeks. I still paid and tipped but decided to never go again (I go to Bishops, they have more experience and knowledgeable & listen). Last week I took my 2 sons for haircuts before their picture day and Great Clips is close and could make it before close. I checked in online, arrived and were seen which was great but it set the tone for an awful experience. My oldest son went first, only wanted a fade with nothing off the top. He was done in 3 minutes. Next my youngest was up, showed a photo of the style we wanted (showed a skin fade) and the stylist went on working. After 5 mins she wanted me to look as she was almost “done” his fade was patchy, literal patches in his head that I had to make sure I asked that she blend and fix that. A few minutes go by and same thing, asks how it looks and I reply that there is no blending and to please blend it so it doesn’t look like a staircase. She proceeded to make excuses how kids heads are hard to cut, mind you she’s cutting ROUGH. No care or compassion for a kids head. She finally finished after saying she can’t blend no more and it’s the best it’ll be. She didn’t shape his hairline, it was choppy and looked like I cut his hair. We paid, tipped and immediately drove down 82nd to the Johnson creek great clips and those stylist fixed their hair and saved picture day. I called corporate after expressing my frustrations to the location who said they would fix his hair, but really? You think I’d go back and let the same lady who ruined their hard and was overly rough have another shot, nope. Corporate assured me I’d be in contact with the owner, no calls came in. Truly don’t care to be contacted, I just want a refund.

Although I get my haircut by different stylist each time Great Clips at the Gateway always provides a pleasing haircut.

I was a walk in, looking to get one side shorter. I told Kim that I wanted my hair out of the way for a new peircing (btw i recxomwnd ritual arts), and she nodded and went to work straight away. She knew exactly what I wanted with absolutely no hassle, whole trip (including wait time) was 15 minutes max. Turned out beautiful!

I went to get my haircut today w/my mom (3/23/24) & when we got there, there was nobody there. There was people who had signed in online but hadn’t shown up yet so the lady said she could do my hair. Well, right after I sat down & showed her the picture of how I wanted it cut, someone showed up. She rushed through my hair, cut it way shorter than the picture. The picture was a haircut I had a few years ago, & it was literally a picture of me. It doesn’t look horrible, but it’s not what I wanted & a lot shorter than I asked for. You can definitely tell it was rushed because it wasn’t blended & looks kind of choppy on the ends. All in all, not a great experience but I didn’t have to shave my head 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 ETA: the lady who did my moms took her time & did a fantastic job, that’s the only reason it’s 2 stars at this point!

I went to Great Clips, and asked if anyone there did razor cuts, and Kim said she did, so I decided to have her cut my hair. First of all, the place was filthy! I had to wipe the previous client's haircut off the chair before I could sit down. The floor in the entire place was filthy, and you could see that there was not even enough pride among the stylist to do a halfway decent job of cleaning around their own stations, including floors and counters. The equipment that was used on the previous customer was still on the station, and was used for my haircut, without having been sterilized. It was obvious that Kim did not know how to do a razor cut, because having been a beautician for 30 years myself, it was quite obvious. I was asked if I wanted my neckline like hers, and I said no, because I wanted to keep the length it was, and just wanted it tapered, and that was why I asked for a razor cut. When she was finished, there was a patch on the right side of the back of my head that looked like it had been shaved, and left a bald spot. This was my second haircut at Great Clips that turned out so unacceptable, so I will never return to any Great Clips salon, because there are too many inexperienced stylists.

I usually like my cuts at Great Clips, but I usually go to the one by Gateway, and because of the last minute cut I needed I had to go to one that was taking online registration. They got me right in. My Stylist was friendly and I told her I just needed a trim and style to my pixie cut. This should've been easy. I left there semi disappointed at the job they did. I asked for more texture and because it was almost closing time I felt they hurried a little, although I was the only customer in there. They didn't really give me any suggestions with hair products which were on sale and t told us to tell

Never going to this location again. The lady who cut my hair rushed through it like she was in some kind of hurry did not give me the haircut I asked for and was very nervous about letting her "trim" my beard

Worst hair cut I've ever gotten. I appreciate a free haircut for us veterans but I wish I hadn't taken advantage of it
