I would always come to mission valley great clips for my haircuts. But I will no longer. I have a very fine hair texture and have since I was a kid. Stylist gave a decent haircut, but at the end was trying to push product on me, recommending Bosely (awful product btw) for my “thinning” hair.

So here's what happened: I went in, I told the lady what kind of haircut I want, we agreed, had a decent talk about life but when I saw that the lady is going haywire, I requested to change her plan and reminded of the instructions. Then onwards, she acted as if I'm speaking to a wall, she finished off very hastily, leaving my hairs uneven, I requested again to cut them and by that time she had removed the black cloth around and again started cutting my hair. All my hairs were falling on my neck, my shirt and I was at a very uneasy position. I somehow managed to get leftover hairs cut and the final look was so worse, I couldn't even look at myself. I would like to request that if a customer is politely telling how he/she want to cut their hair then please don't be mad and spoil their entire look. It spoils the day and the reputation of great clips as well. The name of the lady was Fatima. I'm scared of going back to great clips again!

Had a great experience best one yet actually with Antonio. I’m a Florida customer on a road trip and just wanted to swing in for a quick cut. He made it seem as tho I was in an old school shop chatting about life and even gave me some good life advice as well. Not to mention his attention to detail . Got me lookin right🙌

I recently visited Great Clips for a simple haircut with layers on top. I have medium-length hair, and while I noticed some reviews mentioned concerns about a new Asian stylist with a language barrier, I ended up with her for my appointment.Initially, I was a bit uncomfortable as there was a clear language barrier, and she was slower compared to her colleague—her colleague completed three haircuts while she worked on mine. However, she was attentive and asked several times how I wanted my hair and if the length was to my liking. While the longer haircut time could be attributed to the complexity of working with longer hair, she made sure I was happy with each step of the process. Considering that Great Clips is one of the most affordable options for haircuts, you’re not going in expecting a high-end experience. All things considered, I'd give her 4 stars—though not in a luxury salon sense, but more in line with the level you'd expect from Great Clips. She took her time to ensure a decent result, and I appreciate the effort.

I usually get decent-good haircuts from here, but yesterday they seemed to have brought on a VERY clearly new Asian woman who barely spoke English. This woman did not know what she was doing and even asked a coworker how to cut my sides... not to say that she did not blend my sides, fade my backside, or cut over my ears properly (all of which has been on my ticket for ~year now!). I now have to go to another shop to get this fixed, and unfortunately will not be coming back here again. If you get this new Asian woman, please do not go through with the cut as she does not know what she is doing.

We were traveling through NC and I needed a fresh haircut. Antonio cut my hair, and it is the BEST hair cut I have ever received from a stylist. This hair cut styles extremely well, it compliments my face shape, and makes me feel like a million bucks. So happy I walked into Great Clips! I asked for a 2.5 on the sides and then was asked if I think that’s longer then a 2…. Then asked for it not to be cut all the way up to the part and was told “I cut it all the way up to the part” then I asked for a hard part and was told “I don’t do that” I’m really curious on what she does do. Iv never had a hair dresser pretty much argue on how I should have MY hair cut.

Alexis got me out in record time and didn't nag me or give me unwanted advice about the length, Thickness, or dryness of my hair. She didnt argue where my part "needed" to be. Your comformity is highly appreciated, thank you SO much.

The guy doesn't know how to do a haircut or give a shape, he just knows how to use trimmer and scissor. Bad haircut

I came in with a 45 minute wait, they took my number and said they had time for me. They had me wait 45 minutes and then told me they didn’t have time. Seriously, my hair takes ten minutes.

I came in today and asked for a trim, but the stylist cut almost 6 inches off of my hair. I got home and realized that half of my hair is over and inch shorter than the other half. I wish I had not come here!

I walked in having hair down to my chest and asked for a 2 inch trim and left with it cut to above my shoulders. I wear glasses and took them off for the man to cut it so I couldn’t see what he was doing but had a jump scare as soon as I put them back on. He must have cut at least 6 inches off. The reg flag should’ve been when he didn’t show me the length on the comb like they always do. Negligent. Went home and cried.

Worst hair cut of my life. This my third time going to great clips and for all three times the haircut was bad. I request you to save little more money and go to a better barber shop. Don’t be fooled by the price. These people have no skill and act cool and bossy when dealing with customers The worst franchise
