Danse Gant was awesome, went over my cut and discussed the best way to achieve my needs and went to work. Before I knew it he was done. And low and behold another satisfied customer... thanks Great Clips 👍

I went in with a picture of a cut, similar to a butterfly style. Curtain bangs, some layers, really didn't seem that difficult, I was just not about to try it at home. The girl I got had just graduated cosmetology school from our talking, and she was really nice but hesitant on the bangs, so she had someone else do them. With the first cut, I knew there was way too much hair being cut, but it was done. So she finished the bang portion, but left out the framing. When I noticed this (didn't have glasses on) I asked her, and she had someone else come and do the framing, then I had her trim the bangs to be regular straight bangs because the first cut wasn't the look. I was able to touch up at home, but definitely wasn't what I was going for. I get this is more of a trim/quick cuts place, but I've never had such a botched cut from a great clips. I actually used to only go to great clips for any cuts (other states/locations). I have three stars because my original stylist did ask for help when she needed it and was very friendly and down to earth, but overall I was there for a little over an hour (did not wait at all) and got a cut that was not at all what I was explaining or showing.

I have frequented this location a few times and hadn’t had an issue until today when coming with another individual. My niece was treated by a young lady who immediately asked for help on how to do layers. The haircut requested was a long fringe with basic layers and a face frame. She had requested roughly 2 inches off of her waist length hair and approx 4 1/2-5 inches were cut up to her mid back. Additionally the multi layers were not done, and one layer was added at the shoulders creating a giant line between the top and bottom half of her hair. Lastly she requested ear length face frame and was given eyebrow length bangs. She was incredibly upset at the amount of hair taken off due to the time to grow it back. Upon returning to the location about an hour later they did refund the price of the haircut minus the tip. We are not typically one to complain nor return however we will have to be making another appt to have it corrected as it is quite noticeable. Everyone was very kind and apologetic however due to the situation I doubt to return in the future. This is quite unfortunate as I throughly enjoyed my own cut by the other individual on duty the same day.

This is my first review ever, I went to the Valley High location on 22/05/24. I asked for medium fade on the sides and about 1/2 inch off the top. I now have a botched fade and over 2 inches cut from the top. The lady was shaving the back of my neck sideways or 45 degree angle. I was not able to see my cut until she was done with the sides. The top she never asked or confirmed how much I wanted taken off. I now have random lengths on the top of my head, she was also very rough and forceful while the haircut was being done. I will NEVER return to this place.

I went to this location and the barber didn’t pay attention to a word I said. Also, when I tried to explain to her she said I know and brushed me off. I explained to her that I didn’t want my hair to be short and wanted the hair to hang over to the side. I comb my hair to the side. What did she do? She blended it and cut it short. Then, she cut around my ears and raised my hairline around one side of my ears. So, have one side that looks normal and another side that looks like my hair is running away from my ears. Then, I complain to the manager who really didn’t say anything. The stylist I had kept asking me about my plans for today and talking about herself instead of focusing on my haircut. This barber/ stylist should be fired. She didn’t pay attention and showed no remorse for her mistake by saying, “ there’s nothing I can do about it know.” It’s not the words necessarily but how she said it that really upset me. Like it’s you not me attitude. This incident happened 03/09/24 at that location. I had great clips at a higher standard but now I rate it alongside Rios Golden Cut as ghetto.

(Hit or miss when I use GC) Usually on the run so I rarely make appointments, mainly walk in. Had Gina this time, told her what I wanted, it looked okay, after washing and styling the first time at home I really didn't care for it ( uneven cut). I went back to Gina, showed her the problem areas, she fixed it and did a very nice job 2nd time around 💯. I'll go back to her when I'm in town.

I would have given this place a damn zero if I could. The black guy was so rude & was being very rough w my son's head. Now my son is dramatized & doesn't even want to get another haircut especially from great clips. Then he's there mumbling under his mask saying who knows what. Horrible service will definitely not be back.

Maria C. is a straight up Pro stylist who takes her time and doesn't treat you like one of the herd. strongly suggest to tip her accordingly. I used to only come here when I was short on time. I have become a weekly regular as long as she works there. online check in should be adopted at every place. they should follow great clips example.

Stopped in no appointment, unfortunately, but the staff was very attentive and welcoming. Stylist was very friendly and knew what she was doing. Little bit of a wait but that was expected for a Saturday afternoon. Once it's time for another cut, I will definitely be returning again.

The black male stylist didn’t know how to do a simple cut and messed up my boys hair. This guy is horrible and I’m not sure why or how he is still employed. The general manager did all she could but that dude needs to be let go asap no questions asked. I would avoid this place as much as possible.

The person cutting my hair pressed to hard my neck, not realizing the pain and red marks until a few hours later. I have seeked legal advise from counsel to be addressed.
